Reincarnation/Isekai AU inspired by @llondonfog's recent post :D

Basically, Silver reincarnates/isekais as a child into a world in which his parents are still alive, a world in which mankind has successfully dominated all. Knowing all that was revealed to him in his past life (information that is not divulged to him during the present day, so as to keep him sweet and innocent), he is utterly horrified by this disgusting version of reality. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done and by the time he's of age to help, the state of human-fae relations will surely be beyond salvation; thus, he grows up as an extremely suicidal child, burdened with all the guilt and blood and sins of his unrepentant predecessors...

(Later, perhaps, he comes into contact with an extremely vengeful Malleus...)

Not a young Silver being so utterly proud of his name—the beautiful, mellifluous epithet that his father took the time to think up and bestow upon his unworthy being—that he is always willing to share it when asked, even taking to volunteering the information first sometimes... only to reap the consequences when the knowledge inevitably falls into the wrong hands...

I want Silver to feel just a little emptier inside after witnessing the hatching of Malleus becoming Lilia's "happiest moment" (according to him, at the very least). It's not quite jealousy—he's too grateful for the occurrence to be truly upset over it—but there's a sinking, treacherous feeling that once again, he's not enough. Unlike the scene of Lilia discovering him, there's so much more joy and triumph that comes from this occasion... No wonder his father couldn't fully break his curse; he's not nearly important enough to warrant that much love.

He doesn't deserve it.
