I Just Realized In Ch2 There Is This Line In The Tutorial Ralsei Had Written, About Breaking Bonds And

I just realized in ch2 there is this line in the tutorial Ralsei had written, about breaking bonds and becoming stronger. Like you could recruit people to your Dark World but could also... not. And well... why would Ralsei write that? And it's not about just fighting Darkners, ohhhh no. You aren't becoming stronger if you simply press fight, it is about killing people.

Now, I don't believe Ralsei's secretly evil, rather that his intentions are good but sometimes misguided. And, given he's designed to be the player's favourite, and that he seems to know about the soul controling Kris (I'm not sure if it was implied or we collectively assumed that because it makes sense considering everything else Ralsei does and says), I think he knows about the possibility of the Weird Route taking place if the player decides so. And he may be deeply concerned and stuff but won't interfere because well. The soul knows best. But near the end, if we won't stop taking dangerous paths (assuming the will be another Weird Routes, which I think there will), he will stop us. Or at least try.

I was writing about how I genuinely belive in the Knight!Papyrus theory but don't think it'll be cannon because that would be giving a HUGE role to a character who already exists in another game (well, his counterpart, because I don't think deltarune scelebros are the same scelebros as undertale ones)... and then remembered we're gonna have Toriel and [possibly] Undyne in ch3.
