If you find yourself expressing thoughts and ideas through written words you're a writer. Don't heed the takes of petty people— one compelled to so easily, and unconstructively, question the worth of other's merely seeks to project their own shortcomings and fears.

So recently (the past couple weeks) I have been receiving a couple asks from a few people.

I'm not going to name names because I don't want to be that person. I'm not sure what I did to aggrivate this person and frankly I do not care.

All this person has said to me are crule things, stuff concerning my life and we'll being and stuff concerning how I can't be a real writer without a solid WIP.

Of course these words have affected me, which is why I've decided to put my whole "writing blog" on hold for a while.

Im not sure when I'll come back, but I know it won't be for a while, I need to take sometime for myself and reboost my mental health a little.

I know the post itself is a joke; at least I hope so. It's tagged as much. Despite that, the engagement makes me feel people relate and enjoy the revelation— that troubles me.

If our friendship is so weak, so insignificant, that you can't be authentic enough to say you don't want to do something, what's the point of our connection?

Better yet, what kind of friend can't be bothered to spend one day doing something they dislike, so they can spend time with a friend? When we did we normalise such shallow transactional relationships.

As someone with BPD and DPD, doing this kinda thing just messes with my head. I can't feel like I can depend on you for support if you lie to avoid doing things with me. I can't trust you if I feel like you're repeatedly avoiding me.

As a POC, finding picrewa that both have my skin colour and look good, to me, is kinda one hell of an endeavour.
