Description:

Being a fool is not an easy profession. You're a spy, a diplomat, an actor, and an entertainer all at once, and failing at any of these will get your head on the chopping block faster than you'll be able to jingle your bells. The list of occupational hazards, is, in fact, ridiculously long, but being abducted by aliens is not one of them. Irik, a smart and capable Jest at the king's court, finds themselves in an unusual position of being offered the rulership of an alien empire. Why him? Why now? And what does a certain ancient prophecy have to do with all of this?

Traits: quick-witted, cunning, deductive, ironic, artistic, careless

Extra information:

This is in the early stages of development, so the story is thus far mostly vibes. I'm very excited about it, though, so it'll probably get developed fast.
