HOUR 2: Okay I'm getting a little tired of it already but I'm determined to keep going. I've hit my over 2,000 word count and am sad it's not going higher. Granted, I didn't outline this scene, so I'm chugging through it hard.

So when I saw that my writing music playlist was almost exactly 8 hours long it got me thinking - “if someone can be expected to work 8 hours as a “standard work day,” what would happen if someone spent that time doing nothing but writing?” So that’s what I’m testing on myself today. Starting at 12pm Mountain Standard Time I will be spending an entire “work day” just writing (yes, probably all fanfic). I’ll do check in posts on my mental state every hour with one hour long “lunch” break.

No matter what you’re up to today, let’s all make it a good one!

HOUR 1: It took a while to actually get warmed up to writing but I'm currently on a roll. Snacks help.

HOUR 4: Okay I had my lunch break and did another hour. This day is actually flying by, which is surprising. Clocked in about 4,700 words.
