Robin having a sibling relationship with the Byers and when the jancy wedding comes robin is asked to speak alongside Will and El. She zones out and replays the moments that she had with Nancy and how she should have shot her shot but didn’t thinking Jonathan was the better option for Nancy between the two of them.

Robin later in the evening when she’s alone and watching in the distance “But when I fantasize at night, it's Nancy's eyes, As I romanticize what might have been if I hadn't sized her up so quickly….at least I keep her eyes in my life” then wipes her tears and goes to tell them bye leaving without ever seeing the look of sadness the passes through Nancy’s eyes as she watches Robin walk away.

Robin who is driving home stops at a bar and drinks herself and almost blackout when a blond hair girl comes up and asks if she’s okay. The girl ends up taking her home and making sure Robin is okay before falling asleep on her couch.
