So I wrote a fic and someone commented about Megami's roll in the book and in the game series.

I started thinking about it and actually did some research. So basically I looked into a couple of points of information about Megami, her family, and her point of view on Ayano. So here's some of the stuff that I collected.

“My father won’t let me attend while you are still…active.”

“He has a reason for tolerating your presence at this school. I don’t.”

“... only allowed to exist because you serve a purpose.”

“...every last one of you would be exterminated.”

“If you and I ever cross paths…”

So I have a few things I can take away from this video. First, Ayano and Megami haven’t officially met yet. And I assume from the fact her family also knows about Ayano, and presumably her family line, that Megumi learned about the Aishi’s through her own family. Second, her family, aside from Megami herself, find a purpose or reason to have Ayano around. That reason is unclean but is also backed up by the call the headmaster gets at the end of the week. And finally, “...every last one of you…” is a very important detail because that implies two things. Either a: She knows that its the Aishi family lineage of being “yanderes” or b: there are multiple families like the Aishi. The second is a stretch but I can’t deny how cool it’d be.

No real useful or new info.

Kencho Saikou:

Immediately talk about Megami having an objective, and that she will be replaced, if she dies or leaves, by her younger brother.

Side note I hope he is used in a future elimination.

“Wife”:

Father is a psycho, making Megami a hypocrite. Ngl the parallel to the father and nazi mind set are there, dont bring up that though bc there are already enough controversies. Jesus christ they literally call him out on eugenics. The wife of the son is a spy?? Who is she?? What's her motivation?

Ichiko Saikou:

Sister of father,aunt, she was the first heir but ran away. The school is a high school in name but college in concept? The “Twin Girl” who went missing. I assume whoever is reading this already knows of the twin theories.

Ichirou Saikou:

Father. Megami apparently likes art and animals. He is also described as “Soulless” and “Robotic”. Does the Saikou family have the same problems as the Aishi’s? Is this why Megami hates Ayano, because she hates her dad and the Aishi’s are similar to her father? Is this also why the father knows so much about Aishi’ condition? Because Ayano is described as being “activated” and if they only knew of the Aishi’s based on the court case they wouldn’t know about the switch that happens why the Aishi’s find their “Senpais”.

Saisho Saikou:

Grandfather and founder of Saikou corp, just as tyrannical as father. Past military volentr also possible nazi sympathizer. Ot much info in bio itself but info sprinkled in other family members Bios.

Ruminations on boss monster SOUL power transfer and aging

So, uh. That one bit of Gerson dialogue. What did he mean by this???

There are a few different headcanons/theories about how exactly this piece of lore should be interpreted – and, specifically, what its implications are regarding the children's growth rates in different scenarios. So, let's discuss it.

Personally, I'm REALLY not a big fan of the one that implies a boss monster whose parents die would be stuck as a child forever??? For instance, how would this theory of power transfer work with boss monster families that have 3+ children? Because like. Some couples having at least 3 children would be the only way for the population to to ever grow in size (unless we also headcanon that new boss monsters just spontaneously appear sometimes or something, which has absolutely no basis in canon lore). And by that logic, generations of this happening would eventually yield boss monsters who stop aging stupidly young. Not to mention, what about boss monster kids like Asriel, with no biological siblings? Would them getting both of their parents' SOUL power mean they go through super-puberty that turns them into double-mature adults??? So, yeah, not only would this all have pretty horrific implications regarding boss monster dating, but it'd also just be... really cursed worldbuilding that falls apart when you give it in any amount of serious thought. That's why I think it's a lot more likely that SOUL power transfer is simply that: a transfer of power.

I think Gerson's word choice is key here: "causing the child to grow" – rather than "mature", "age", or " develop" – "as the parents age" – as in, "into old age", becoming physically weaker due to giving up SOUL power.

I believe it's FAR more likely that, if a boss monster was orphaned, their growth would be stunted and their power would never reach its full potential – something more akin to malnutrition, rather than them literally being frozen in time; this would also happen, but to a lesser extent, to a boss monster who has to share their parents' SOUL power with more than one other sibling – and, inversely, a boss monster who's an only child would inherit both of their parents' power, growing far stronger than either of them separately by the time they become an adult.

This would also explain Asgore's absurdly high stats compared to Toriel's – like. ok. he has 8 times her total HP??? If we are to assume Asgore started out with similar stats to Toriel, plugging the numbers into the LV-based HP calculation formula the game uses for Frisk – 3/4 base HP + (1/4 base HP * LV) – gives us this equation: 330 + 110*LV = 3500. Solving for Asgore's hypothetical LV, then, gives us LV of roughly 29. Which might not sound that bad... until you realize the EXP required for getting to LV 19 is more than than all of the EXP it takes to get to LV 18 combined. Even assuming the EXP you get from killing just one human is equivalent to killing every monster in the Underground, while also assuming that the amount of EXP you need to level up no longer increases after you've reached LV 20 for some reason... it still wouldn't be enough to explain Asgore's dummy thicc HP bar after killing only 6 humans, if we are to assume his base HP is at all similar to that of Toriel. (Accounting for the possibility that monster history books lied, or at the very least didn't tell the full truth when stating that "not a single human SOUL was taken" during the war just leaves us with another problem: Toriel's also a veteran, and in fact seems a lot more comfortable with the idea of actively going to war as opposed to Asgore's approach of stalling for as long as possible, so if monsters actually were getting insane amounts of EXP by killing humans during the war, how come her stats are still so low? Killing even just a few humans would beef her up quite a bit; again, it's only once the numbers get higher that you see the sharp increase in EXP required to level up.)

I think Asgore was born into royalty, and Toriel married into it. Again: if a pair of boss monsters had only one child, that child would have the combined power of their 2 parents – now, let's suppose a family decided to do that for many generations.... with each new kid in such a family, the base power of the resulting offspring would grow more and more and more, wouldn't it? Perhaps one such family also has the means and prestige that allows them to easily find suitably strong partners for their kids, further increasing the rate at which the family's power would grow. (Also, the idea of Toriel originally being a commoner is further reinforced by the fact that the surname "Dreemurr" is confirmed to come from Asgore's side and, at least as far as we know, Toriel just... doesn't have her her own surname, as she switches to just going by "Toriel" after the two break up. Given that we only have about 3 examples of surnames within the Entirety Of The Underground, it appears that family names just aren't really a thing used within monster society, unless said family is really notable in some way).

...I may or may not be overthinking boss monster biology.

Time travel ?

I didn't like this theory but the last trailer almost conviced me of the possibility of time travel in the game.

I would honestly prefer it if there was memories of the pas to unlock that will show the battle against Ganon, 10.000 years ago. (I hope it's that and not actual time travel).

There was a theory of there being two playable Link : the one from BOTW and the ancient hero.

But the trailer (in my opinion) showed us 2 Zeldas (the one from BOTW and the coloured girl in the priest dress with a Hylia glowing hand) and 2 Ganondorf (the one with flowy and glowing hair that looks like Demise and the rehydrated mummy that looks like TP's Ganondorf).

There's also the throne room in the castle that is in pristine condition (with some sparkling aura around the edge of the image).

And a shot of the woman that we saw on a precedent traler (a mural with that figure surrounded by tears) that coul be a flash of the past.

And if I were to theorize, I would say that the green glowing hand holding the mummified Ganondorf is the bulky dude who put his hand on Zelda's shoulder while singing Link's praises.

But that's just a theory (I don't have a clue of who it might be).

Totk minute of silence

The trailer showed a lot, but there were some pieces missing.

First of all : long hair is no more trending among the girls in Hyrule (I still hold some hope for Paya).

Second of all : some tima has passed between the two games and there might have been collateral damage.

Impa was old, already past 110 years at least. She might not be there in this game. Paya could have taken her place or maybe she accepted to try Purah's brand of crazy and got turned into a kid.

Same thing with Robby. (I hope not but, well... they're already elderly in Botw).

King Dorephan might be deceased too. We can see in the trailer that Sidon's outfit was changed : he has more armor on his shoulder and torso, he wears more tissues too (on his neck and on his hands). But the more telling part is the crown on his head. It looks terribly similar to King Dorephan's crown.

I also think the same thing might have happened to Blurbo (if I remember his name correctly), the chief of the Gorons. We don't see Yunobo in the trailers so maybe there's something going on with the goron (that or he got a growth spurt and totally changed physically).

This is just a theory without any proof but the Rito's Chief could have died too and Teba stood up to take his place. That's the 'positive' theory because in the 'negative' one, Teba could have been killed as a warrior by some monsters and his son stood up to take the champion mantle. (I hope I'm wrong because I really liked Teba. He was some reliable adult compared to the others champions. I mean, he has dad vibes). I'm rooting for Chief Teba with all my heart.

Third point :

Link's happiness might be dead in this one.

That and his arm (even though he gets a cooler one later).

And his sword

And his tranquility, his hobbies, his plans for the week

But, hey, at least he can go explore some floating islands and he gets to extent his wardrobe !

New Theory!!!

John knew who the Lady that is Scratch.

First of all, he obviously recognizes her. It's on the tip of his tongue. Like meeting a long lost colleague, and barely remembering they existed. He even asks the painting who she is!! He also keeps on making statements like "it was..." Or "Though she..." Like he's right on the cusp of remembering someone.

Second, you just don't act this way with a stranger. A stranger even a scary one like this doesn't immediately disorient you, and make you focus on her. Even when forgetting about the painting he knows she's important. Even when the importance of the painting isn't in his mind.

Third, John describes her as lovely, in a strange endearing way. Like fantasizing, or recalling a pleasant memory. His descriptions seem loving as well.

Conclusion

I think she was someone of great importance to the KiY, maybe even a relative. Someone that even the KiY would be fond of. And John who only has a vague but terrifying silhouette of his time as king forgot about, but was immediately pulled back into when seeing her. I was thinking a mom or sister, but idk enough about Lovecraft to know.

I have no experience in making theories but here I go

So we all know that RYGB (based on canon) originally came from a website, right? Well, websites are accessible to anyone. So this made me wonder... Are there other copies of RYGB on other computers that happen to open that website? Are they a single consciousness within different copies of themselves, or a completely different consciousness with the same code? (Similar to victim's clones) Can they connect with each other? And... What happens when Alan opens the website in a new tab while keeping the old one? Do they just... Have a new duplicate or would it just be empty?

I don't know I'm just rambling stuff I thought of before sleeping

Just imagining that the special doodle that Suzie caught is a Unique. Like she got her special doodle by the time uniques had been added to the game. Specifically on the route where every single doodle has a unique. But Suzie doesn't have a unique that's in Icywood Forest, it's said that her doodle isn't on the board of encounters. Also, if wish was planning to give her a misprint Ciyrup. Then he'd surely give his precious daughter a unique. He killed that Ciyrup to give his daughter a much better doodle, not those disgusting and worthless Misprints... ugh. No, Suzie deserves a unique. Because she is unique. Just imagining Suzie and Quincy's convo being like before Player arrived: "Hey! I caught something!" "Oh what did you-" *unique sound cue plays* "What the fuck."

I have this theory that Suzie ate Chocotine, like the chemical in the Dark Chocolate held item. When you give this to a doodle that is not a food type, they take damage instead of heal. And what if this chocolate is like... very very bad towards humans, hence why it's locked away in a chest and the only way to get more is from the VP shop or Runic Island. And the chocolate we find in von Sweetsville has a bite mark in it... so what if Suzie bit it?

Random thing that I randomly thought of while listening to bear ghost (would recommend the music is amazing) that I dont know if anyone else has but is the necromancer from necromancin dancin by bear ghosts Steven Bradley from the song The Steven Bradly by bear ghosts. The reasoning for this theory is that steven raises his girlfriend from the dead saying that he "can't wait to see you dance again" dance being a pretty important part to this theory since that's the second half of what the necromancer dose he makes the dead dance. Now as to why he is raising more people from the dead it could be that something went wrong eluded to by steven saying "this mess was not intended" so maybe hes resurrecting more people to find out what went wrong so he can fix it.

LIFE SERIES S4?!

Alright, so theory/compiling of evidence. Please note the following could all be considered spoilers.

Many life series people have ended streams early today or canceled (Martyn, Impulse, Jimmy, Cleo, and Tango)

Impulse is a really bad liar and was about to raid Martyn but remembered he was about to end "what a weird coincidence"

Jimmy said he needed to end the stream so he could "record a different series" and then corrected himself saying "I mean thing"

Scott, Bdubs, and Impulse have all changed their skins to double life or their basic skins (ones they use for life series)

Grian said last month that we might get a new life series "in March"

Cleo had to cancel the stream due to a "group recording"

Please tell me if I'm missing something becuase I'm going a little crazy! :)

If anything this just shows that the people who watch the life series are all just detectives at heart

Alright, 12 hours to go here are my life series season 4 theories. I've been wondering what the clocks mean along with everyone else, I personally think it could be nothing but that gives me nothing to wonder about so... What if instead of 24 hours it is 24 minutes. They start with 24 minutes on a timer in session 1 and lose a life every time they run out (resetting the timer until final death, 3 more or less?) But if they get a kill their timer resets without them losing a life and possibly permanently increases the amount it resets to (one kill adds 5 minutes give or take). So now if their timer resets it resets to a higher amount than 24.

I see a really sad future where Bdubs and or Scar avenge Cleo after a tragic death or, Cleo or goes mad after both of her kids run out of time...

anyway! I can't wait to see the super angsty fanart that people make no matter what.
