I honestly loved reading this book (I know I say that about basically any PJO-related book but still). I loved exploring Will and Nico's relationship and learning more about both of them. I also loved seeing the ups and downs of the relationship, like it was just so realistic, yes they get annoyed with each other, yes there are small arguments and yes they are different people, but they are making it work, they are putting the effort in, and not in a way that is compromising to their own characters. Idk this book was just so good and the depiction of the relationship was good and healthy.

Also like I love the troglodytes and Hiss-Majesty looking up to Will was actually adorable. Also Nico being able to see his mom and Bianca one last time and just accepting their fate. And like Nico accepting his demons, can't wait to see more on the Cocoa puffs 👀 also like yes give me more Persephone content

All in all loved this book!

I really wanna learn more about Wills previous years in camp. I think it's a little silly to make him an important character and not do much with him.

I mean... He's been around for longer than five of the seven. And he's gotten all these cool powers that he never previously did, so I kind of hope Rick does one more book to explore his character.

That or I'll just make it up as I go hehe

I just finished The Sun and the Star and aaaa!!!! The character developement!!! The cuteness!!! The feels!!! The queerness!!! The solangelo!!! MY FUCKING HEART!!! I do not cry when I read, but I cried with this one! If anyone interacts with me in the next week, I'm just gonna infodump about this shit. Expect some rant posts. didn't just hit me in the feels, I've been fucking run over with them

Finally finished this Solangelo fanart!!! Started this like, when I was halfway through the book... Boy oh boy was that long ago

alright, like, I thought Nico would be harder to draw but I struggled so much with Will

I like to imagine that in some AU out there, Nico beat Minecraft and got to read THE Minecraft poem. He probably got emotional while reading it, shed a few tears here and there, but ultimately felt happy. Comforted.

I was going to originally write a small fic-like story to go with this but I suck at that tremendously LMFAO.. so instead I’m gonna drop some parts of the poem that I think he would have felt really connected to/liked. :,)
