as if it’s your last by blackpink, one of your favorite songs to dance to in a your favorite club.
you had a feeling the man playing the music, enjoyed how you’d get out of you small corner of the club just to move to the song. you didn’t know this man too well except for the fact that he goes by bang chan (방찬) and that he is really handsome. you’ve been to many clubs in seoul but this club will always have a place in your heart...
bang chan had always noticed you and couldn’t help but try to make music just to see you dance. he felt some sort of connection everytime he saw you, he didn’t know why he felt so compelled by your presence but he did.
“ya! jisung-ah! did that person come into the club last week?”
“she did lover boy! you should ask her out hyung!!”
“hajima, she wouldn’t even be interested in me. i don’t we’ve even made eye contact...”
“you don’t know if you don’t try!”
it was monday when you decided to drop by your most favorable club, just to grab a drink. you noticed how empty the club was on a monday night, you couldn’t help but also notice the dj setting up his equipment.
after getting your drink, you decide to start singing as if it’s your last and stroll your way towards the dj himself.
“hey dj! mind playing some blackpink?”
“of course!”
he immediately plays the song and started staring at your figure doing the choreography. his heart immediately burst when he saw you dancing in such a meticulous and enjoyable way.
“hey handsome, instead of staring why not just dance with me?”
you said that confidently while he chuckles through his teeth. his larger figure makes his way down to you as the song repeats once more. you grab his hands and start swaying to the song.
his connection with you strengthened in his mind and to you, you felt some sort of energy from him that made you feel content with the moment. once the song ended again, you whipped out your phone and smiled very widely at him.
“can i get your number?”
“i-i... yeah.”
he quickly inputted his number into you phone and gripped you hand.
“can i also get a picture? you’re just so handsome and i’d like to have someone to look at when i’m in my corner of this club.” he chuckled and snapped a quick selfie with your phone.
this maybe the start of something new...

“y/n, read this...” chris states as he shoves the phone into your hands.
you could not believe your eyes, complete strangers are commenting such nasty words to someone who they don’t even know. anger immediately fill your mind as you read the disgusting comments that seemed to be typed by the toxic kpop stans everyone should stay away from.
your hands put chris’s phone onto the table and look up at him, “chris... look at me. stop listening to them, you are the greatest leader out there, the greatest friend, an amazing lover... i can literally go on and on about you but i know you won’t agree.”
“i love you too much to let you hurt yourself... i love you too much to let yourself listen to those people...” your eyes quickly filled with tears as your voice started to break from confessing your love to chris.
his arms reached for your frame as you started to breakdown, “promise me, you won’t listen to t-them. promise me you’ll be even stronger for yourself. please p-promise me, you’ll come to me whenever things get hard for you. no matter how small, i will be there for you.”
your muffled voice made it harder for chris to keep himsef composed. he rested his chin onto your head and sighed quite loudly.
he knew it pained you whenever he was in pain. whenever he was having a hard time, he tried his hardest to keep to himself, but he knew how that hurt you. chris loves you too much to see you in pain but sometimes he needs you during his darkest time.
he needs you regardless.
after a few minutes of standing there, leaving tear stains on his shirt. chris decides to pull away and kiss your lips.
the lips that gave him so much confidence, the lips that made him feel okay, the lips that gave him courage to pursue his dreams.
“y/n, i promise i won’t listen to them. i promise to be stronger for myself. i promise to come to you... i loce you so much and i never want to leave you.”
i miss woojin.
“fuck you seo changbin. you left me months ago and now you’re back to tell me you love me?”
his head slowly nods and you can’t help but scoff in his face.
“you look and sound pathetic. you think after all that pain, i’m just going to take you back?”
“of course not. i know i hurt you but i just thought you sound know.”
“honestly, i was better off not knowing...”
