Ngl, considering most of my followers from my first acc were mostly SCP fans, I'm not really that surprised

But a promise to ramble is a promise to ramble, so tomorrow I will reblog this yet again with a couple art pieces I made of the 1989 au, as well as explanations as to what it's about/the plot, as well as just random things about the au :]

Characters (Main):

~ Samuel Polk : A trans man who works as a repair man at Joey Drew Studios.

~ Francis Wojcienchowski : A man who recently escaped his abusive wife Lillith and is currently staying with Samuel.

Characters (Side):

~ Henry Stein : One of the most well known animators for Joey Drew Studios and Samuel's close friend.

~ Sammy Lawrence : The director of the music department for Joey Drew Studios.

~ Shawn Flynn : One of the few designers in the Heavenly Toys department for the studio.

Plot:

~ The first half of this au follows the regular story of SCP-4231, but instead of being taken in by the Foundation, Francis escapes and heads for the nearest neighborhood for safety, ending up being welcomed in and taken care of by Samuel.

~ There are three kinds of combatants in the Foundation: MTF, Guards, and Field Agents.

~ MTF handle large scale missions and mass breaches

~ Guards handle smaller breaches and missions, escort tests, and ensure SCP's stay in the box

~ Field Agents are considered the most chaotic combatants, handling testing Foundation weapons/explosives, occasional missions, and raiding Serpent's Hand and GOC bases. If guards are unavailable, they also escort tests and handle small breaches.

~ Personnel apartments are a completely separate section from the rest of the site, and are as far away from containment sectors as possible for safety reasons.

~ Containment sectors are split between different sectors for each containment class for organization purposes

~ Offices are individual, however due to staff population reasons, usually there are 2 people sharing an office. If needed, 3 can be placed in a office together, but that is the max number.

~ New staff are always placed in an office with another person that can show how the Foundation works.

~ O5's have control of one or even multiple sites, usually going undercover as a head of a department. (Example: Reese aka me n my friend's O5-13 takes place as the head of medical)

~ There are cots in the offices of personnel for staff who stay awake very late at night to do work or simply just need a nap.

~ There are day and night shift guards to double ensure that SCP's stay contained.
