legit in love w/ this design i just came up w/ it on the spot but i vibe w/ it sm lol

wanted to play w/ sum color pallets as well cuz i adore muted colors like that i think it came out pretty neat

Even though I can't really explain why, I love their dynamic, too!

The colors in this are so well done, the background is soft but Sun and Earth are solid but it WORKS SO WELL. It's kind of like Sun is imagining the dreamy background as he falls asleep, and Earth is low-key in the zone because she's doing what she was built to do.

Also, HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD AT SIZE PROPORTIONS!? I think we've only seen these two standing next to each other and yet you can draw Earth sitting and holding Sun as he sleeps and it looks completely freaking accurate!

I have a headcanon that Earth will sometimes sing songs to Sun to help him relax or calm down. I love their dynamic so much already ;w;

Monty: So what? He’s just a baby because the star decided it?

New Moon: Yeah, he’s tiny.

Baby Eclipse: *happily giggling and playing with New Moon’s hand and in awe*

Sun: He’s got that thing because I can’t even stand to look at it.

Earth: Sun, we’ve talked about this. You can’t blame a baby for their adult actions.

Monty: I mean it’s true, he did…horrible things as an adult, but he’s just a baby right now, Sun. That don’t mean you have to deal with him, of course, but try to just be gentle with him.

Sun, pouting: Fine.

I was both excited and nervous on how things would be with Sun and Lunar and now that it's here it's such a weight off the chest. I'm glad there are no hard feelings, but I hope Sun can make a heartfelt apology after Lunar is able to get past his... dissociating? Is that what he's doing to cope? I'm not entirely sure...

Also THANK THE HEAVENS for his older siblings! They know what's going on and want to help, but they want to help Lunar the healthy way. The trio (Sun, Moon, and Earth) has become a quartet at last!

Wow, they REALLY went ham on enforcing Lunar being a kid in his return two parter with Monty’s channel

Guess they wanted to end the conversation regarding that once and for all

But besides that—

Oh my god is it good to see him back and that no hard feelings are had between him and Sun any more

And good on Sun, Moon, and Earth wanting to make sure he healthily copes after everything that happened

I replayed that laugh at least twice the first time I saw the video. Poor thing is so lonely and drained and miserable that just hearing him laugh unironically is a light in the dark.

Someone just ask him if it's okay to give him a hug already!

(I hope it's okay that I called you Meg; part of me is worried if it's too personal but that seems to be what everyone calls you, so...)

"Lunar's SECRET PLAN" Episode! (Me Gushing Over an LAES Episode)

MY GOD, I ADORED today's episode of the Lunar and Earth show. Dazzle being a helpful bean, Sun being a big brother (no pun intended), Earth being a goofball, Lunar being a lit--UH, I mean, fun-sized trickster grump, GIANTS IN THE DAYCARE--I LOVE IT!

And I thought Lunar and Earth helping Sun with his goose magic was funny! Earth's "sibling dynamic" line is so true. It's practically her catchphrase by now, but I sure ain't complainin'! :D

Lunar actually did fool me the first time he did the thing when they were by the ball pit. I didn't even realize he did it again before it became obvious. I'm around 5' 2'' years so I can relate to Lunar's frustration, but if we're small then WE ARE GOING TO BE PROUD OF IT, DAMMIT! And he DID have a bit of a sense of humor about it, mimicking the Jaws theme when in the ball pit after Earth pointed out that only the top of his head was visible.

And MY GOD, Sun/Happy Boy was SUCH a butt of a big brother. XD It was freaking funny how merciless he was with the teasing. I mean, he started it around less than one minute into the video! Maybe he was a bit mean, but he was genuinely apologetic when he thought he went too far.

It was nice that Sun was having a good day, joking and laughing. I mean, he was ACTUALLY laughing, not just wheezing or huffing a few times. I'm super proud of him. His problems and trauma aren't over, but he's still come a long way.

NOW FOR EARTH: I LOVE Earth's sense of humor. I love how hammy and silly she is, first was the whole "L-L-L-L-LUNAAAR~!" from the last laes lore episode, then today it was her "I have been learning PROOOGRAMMING!"

I wish I was half as confident as she is about putting the energy into the silliness. It's in my range of humor, and sometimes I can be hammy in front of others but I can also backtrack. I just get worried people think it's stupid instead of silly and that I'm being stupid. I just need people who I trust to really know me, I guess.

ANYWAY! BACK TO THE FUN STUFF!

I thought of a good nickname for Lunar: BLUEBERRY MOONCAKE!

If you don't know what a mooncake is... it's banned in several countries so that's understandable.

Finally Dazzle--sweet baby girl. She went from throwing a toy in Lunar's face because it was funny to offering to find that FREAKIN' DONUT THING, WHICH COULD'E BEEN LITERALLY ANYWHERE IN THAT WAREHOUSE-SIZED ROOM. She's definitely learning stuff from Sun, and he already trusts her enough to let her find it on her own. Yes he goes to help her at the end BUT YOU CAN'T DENY HOW CUTE THEIR BOND IS!

And now... quoting this genuinely wonderful exchange:

Lunar: I don't even know how I can hear you right now.

Earth: It's because I'm YELLING~!

Lunar: ...FAIR ENOUGH!

Earth: DID I HURT YOUR FEELINGS!?

Lunar: NO!

Earth: SO WE'RE COOL!?

Lunar: YEP~!

Earth: OKAY~!

Um, I hope this counts.

I have a headcanon that Solar (and, by extension, Eclipse) are the type to try to hide their reaction to something really funny. Like Ryan Stiles and the "tapiooooca~!" joke on Whose Line is it Anyway.

I'm just imagining Lunar and Earth roping Solar into playing Gang Beasts and their antics are just making him fight SO HARD to keep his composure. Then they get to the street level and Buffy the Flying Walrus gets hit by signs. Many, many times.

I'd imagine Solar would be dumbfounded at first, but as it keeps going he's eventually just trying (and failing) to hide his laughter through breathing. He's trying to take steady inhales, and then disguise his laughing with long exhales.

Earth and Lunar know this and they are NOT HELPING. THEY WANT TO BREAK HIM WITH SILLINESS. XD

Here’s my opinion on this episode.

First: Eclipse reuniting with Earth was so cute. They are confirmed besties you honor.

Second: No Puppet you are not useless, you are an incredible person, wife and mother!

Third: Actually, there is indeed a way to prove Eclipse wrong and the answer is: Solar.

 Eclipse says that every single Moon will end up activating the killcode and killing someone, but the thing is, the same stuff that is said about Moon, is also said about him.

 It is shown that in most universes he is evil and does bad stuff, meanwhile there's literally a nice version of him, just hanging around, helping people, being kind and being an awesome brother. 

Solar is the living proof that not all alternative versions of Eclipse will end up the same way. Why the same can't happend with that Moon?. That’s why it is called ALTERNATIVE universes. Infinite possibilities, dear.

Dude, is LITERALLY contradicting himself.
