There seems to be a concerted effort to justify why The Acolyte was cancelled by Disney and/or Lucas Film. Especially after the viral tweet comparing Acolyte numbers to the Penguins viewership, they have suddenly released another news saying the Acolyte cost way more than $180M to make. The new figure I'm seeing is north of $200M. For a show that has been cancelled for over a month, it does seem they are feeling pressured cos they can't stop trying to justify their actions.
I wish they had even an iota of concern for what their actors went through and tried to defend them like they are doing for their reputation.
