Odd OC Asks

For the most part, Jak doesn't really... deal in sentimentality, though after a few years of RP, a few people managed to make enough of an impression on her that there are a couple of things. I talk about that in this answer from a while back, concerning someone's OCs... who is no longer in-game! Other than that, it's her sketchbook, because it's almost like journaling for her - it helps her process her emotions, it helps her cool off, and sort out her thoughts. She's not good with words, and she only learned to read a couple years ago, but art is a passion, and drawing really helps her get it out. It's like an anthology of her mind - even if a lot of the representations within may not make sense to others, outside of the occasional portrait of her 'Wolf'... she's not exactly showing others the art, either. It's personal! It's like opening a window into her mind, or her thoughts at the moment, and that's... very vulnerable.

✏️- I’m gonna choose finch because he gets the most attention out of any of my ocs. He’s my magnum opus. I’ve probably drawn him the most and have a bunch of one shots of him plus entire sheets to reference about his character. I yap about him so often to people it’s crazy.

🌼- this is hard bcs pretty much all my ocs go through different points in their life but choosing finch again he canonically only lives to be about 30

🌺- finch again! He’s basically hooked up with dudes all his life and had one off relationship but the closest one to like truly dating was with an oc of mine called seymour

💼- kneelingmongrel used to be called Pav and worked on the docs lugging around shipments and equipment. Dockworker man.

I also have a guy that’s a pig farmer but he plays a VERY specific role in finch’s story :)

A hard one, there’s too many great spots to chill in the badlands! Out by Laguna Bend, taking it easy in camp with the rest of the Aldecaldos, or, a personal favorite for literally chilling, the classic netrunner’s tub of ice water! Nothing beats it.

🌲-For Ker! Greatest strength and weakness-

One and the same. Reliance only upon himself.

🌹-For Lucino! Greatest fear-

Well, as someone siphoning corporate funds into a warlord’s pockets, you may think getting exposed is easily his biggest fear, but you’d be wrong. More than anything, Lucino fears Kurt will never forgive him for deserting during the Unification War.

💧-For Garnett! Biggest passion-

Nothing makes Garnett more proud than protecting the district he calls home. Keeping Dogtown safe is what he lives to do. For giving him sanctuary in the darkest moment of his life (yet lol), he feels his debt to Barghest and Dogtown as a whole can never be payed, but he’ll never stop trying.

🌟-Does he express himself through words or other means?

Ker’s face is always covered by some kind of mask, the very most of his face that is ever showing is his eyes, so he shows VERY little emotion through any kind of facial expression. He relies primarily on tone of voice, body language, and gestures to convey emotion. He often comes off as… very flamboyant.

💧-What is he most passionate about?

Without giving too much away, Kerberos is undoubtedly most passionate about maintaining his importance within the hierarchy of Barghest. I’m leaving this one vague on purpose hehe.

🍃-Describe him in one word.

Competitive.

✨-How did I come up with his name?

Kerberos is a proto-Indo-European word meaning “spotted”, but it is also thought to be the word from which “Cerberus” is derived.

💚-His gender and sexuality?

Ker is a trans man! His sexuality for the time being is just unlabeled because I honestly haven’t figured that out for him lol. It may just remain unlabeled for him though.

🍩-His arch nemesis or rival?

Definitely more of a rival than an arch nemesis, but that title could easily go to my gf’s character, Raine, another netrunner! While Ker carries out most of what Barghest needs done net-wise, they occasionally will hire outside help, Raine being one of their top choices. Both, shockingly, are more similar than they will ever be willing to admit, both having almost been killed while netrunning and both being on the run from Netwatch. However, as far as morals and ethics go, are complete opposites. Raine is no saint, but Ker is sitting just a little below the 9th circle of hell.

🎯-For Aston. What do they do best?

Netrunning, without a doubt! Aston is good at lots of things, but netrunning is his greatest skill by far. Even before he came to work for Militech, he was very proficient. He was actually digging through Militech’s data on a gig when they offered him a job, impressed by his abilities, and also just wanting to keep him from getting into their shit for someone else.

✂️-For Kerberos. Their worst memory?

I think “getting fried by a rogue ai and then almost getting killed by Netwatch” is easily the worst 😭

🧠-For Aston. What do I like most about them?

There’s a lot I love about Aston, but one of my favorite aspects of him has to be his love of cars, a personal passion of mine as well. Aston’s name is a very very blatant reference to car manufacturer Aston Martin, and his moniker “VANQUISH” a reference to one of their models.

☘️-For Kerberos. What inspired this oc?

Ker is based off an ingame npc, one of the Barghest netrunners you can see rarely around Dogtown. Their design was just too incredible for me to not make one of my own! He has a few tweaks from the standard design, but otherwise looks the same.

Garnett-

I supposeeeee you could consider him disobeying orders from 6th Street as betrayal? His brothers certainly do. Is basically all of Barghest turning on him after V kicks his ass and steals his gun betrayal? Kind of but he’s such an ass kisser he just thinks it’s justified.

Lucino-

Yeah, desertion is just betrayal straight up 😭 as for being betrayed… he’s had some VERY important data almost leaked by a former coworker, but has since had it.. taken care of.

Kerberos-

Being betrayed? Not really. Now, doing the betrayal? Oh baby, that’s Ker’s entire character! Time and time and time again, to protect his own importance to Barghest, Kerberos has betrayed his former colleagues from Cynosure. As for the specifics of these betrayals, I have too much fun being vague. Hehe.

Aston-

Well, wouldn’t you know it! A betrayed colleague! Aston has not done any betraying himself, though. Experiencing it himself, you know, left sort of a bad taste in his mouth.

Cigarettes, lighter, keys, wallet, knife, several loose bullets, a tooth Hansen knocked out of his mouth when he joined. You know. Normal things.

17-What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

Garnett’s parents were both members of 6th Street, so you know he’s been playing with toy guns his whole damn life. He was HUGE into BB guns when he was young. He never shot any eyes out but his brother Adrian still has a bb lodged in his knee from Garnett being a little too confident with it.

22-What does your character like in other people?

Honestly it’d be easier to list the things Garnett doesn’t like in people. He makes an effort to get along with and understand everyone he meets, and there’s very, very few people he doesn’t like. That being said, he prefers those who are honest about their intentions and feelings, even if they aren’t necessarily good.

I'll do this for Cecelia (Rae'laliah).

✨ - I came up with Cecelia's from the real world saint "Saint Cecilia", she'd based off her, I just used a different way to spell her. Her real name is Rae'laliah, I basically just wanted to make up a demonic and bizzare sounding name but also pretty for her. She goes by Cecelia since that's the person she replaced.

🌼 - Cecelia is 23 years old, in human years, her real age so far is unknown, for all we know she could be as old as the planet. Or her father.

🌺 - She doesn't have a love interest, but she 𝘥𝘪𝘥 till they got together.

🍕 - Cece's favourite food is a difficult choice, since she isn't exactly a foodie, but if she had to choose she probably likes churros, or anything from a fancy restaurant (I know she's a lot)

💼 - Well.. Uhh Cecelia is an Alternate, so what she does for a living besides making people self-delete themselves, I'd say she also has a fondness for fashion??

🎹 - One of Cecelia's biggest hobbies, is definitely writing poetry, she also has a taste in the finer things in life.

🎯 - What Cecelia does best?? I'll say it's.. Uhh spreading M.A.D/j, She's good at blending in and suppressing her emotions in tough situations so she can further have control over the problem and solve it.

🥊- What Cece is good at doing?? She's good at following instructions told by her father and carry them out, she's persistent and confident. What she hates? She hates babysitting, she doesn't like being restricted from what she wants to do and be limited. She wants to go out there and get physical, not be the neighbourly babysitter.

✂ - Cecelia's worst memories? The times her father got mad at her for failing him, she hates getting his disapproval.. I mean, when you're the direct spawn of Satan, yeah.. It's required to love up to the best expectations.. Especially if said kid will eventually take over his rule.

🧊 - Cecelia's design had changed over the months, her design now is somewhat similar to the old one but more.. Refined?? Cleaner?.. I also completely changed her hair style.

🍀 - What originally inspired Cecelia? Like the first question, Cecelia got her name from the biblical figure "Saint Cecilia", she was based off her concept, the other big inspiration is Cesar Torres himself, I basically took those two and mashed them together to create the Alternate Cecelia, she's basically just genderbent Cesar tbh, but with different lore. Her real name is Rae'laliah when in demon form. (And the REAL Cecelia's name is "Cecilia P. "Perez" Chavez)

🌂 - The genre she belongs to is analog horror, or just horror. She's my TMC OC.

🙌 - Cece has 4 other siblings, though most of them are adopted or dragged into the family upon realizing what they are. Bappy and Nebby are her adopted siblings, Libidonna is her biological sister, and Adam is the one who was dragged in.

🍎 - Cecelia's relationship with with father the "Archangel Gabriel", or Lucifer is.. Not bad, but not good. It's tame, they merely have a complimentary relationship, he helps her and she helps him with benefits, like his approval. If anything, she's more close to him than her mother, she dislikes her, all because she's a Succubus. She doesn't understand why her father married a succubus.

🧠 - What I like most about her? It's either the sheer amount of lore I put into her in the span of maybe like... 1 year?? Or the way her design changed. Consistently drawing her really helped my ability at drawing human figures and characters.

✏ - All. The. Time. ALL. THE. TIME. I can't stop drawing her she's so fun, I love drawing my sassy Latina alternate mean girl, I could really draw her all day tbh.. Sometimes I forget to draw my other OCS because I'm too busy being like "HEHEHE TIME TO DRAW EMO LATINA AGAIN"

💎 - Maybe after my obsession with TMC dies down, but none of my OCs really die down, I just let them rest for awhile and work on someone else till I pick em up again.. Also I'll rather wait till we have a confirmed answer from Alex that Alternates can actually be killed.

💀 - Cecelia is a major Mysophobe, she hates anything that directly dirty. Even though she's a Alternate and human diseases don't effect her, she still heavily dislikes it if someone who was sick or extremely dirty was next to her. Like she'll start gagging hysterically and vanish. (Major hack y'all, just be sick you'll survive being attacked by this Alternate she'll be too busy sterilizing the room and cleaning it/j).

🍩 - Cecelia's arch-nemisis is anyone whose fighting against the Alternate invasion, but the one she's been having a problem with is her version of Mark.
