Normally i refuse to draw the rvb cast with out helmets unless they have been canon… but… When i hear Doly’s voice all i can see is that. And the more emotional he gets the more i imagine his hair gets messy. So hes my only exception to my rule

According to my mom and sister the very first thing i did upon waking up was BOLT upright and proceed to try and shove my ENTIRE fist in my mouth as fast as possible.

spent a whole day unsure what to make for Lopez de Mayo. Started sketching then finally remembered i had a humanoid facecanon to digitize. So… ta-dah! Will make a full concept page at some point like I’ve done for the others.

More angst that has been filling up my head… when Church said he was recording “other messages”, I just started imagining him leaving more personal good-byes to everybody. He definitely wouldn’t have said HALF of this stuff if he thought they’d ALL hear it, which is why he put each one into their individual helmets… the problem was, these ding-dongs didn’t listen to them right away. Maybe they weren’t ready for that step the grieving process, maybe they were still too upset, maybe they thought if they just put it off it wouldn’t be real… well, either way, after all the time-travel shenanigans, they finally get the idea to sit and listen to what Church had to say. So, this is each of them, taking off their helmets (except for Lopez, since he IS his helmet), looking at a hologram of Church who got WAY to real. No fair dude, you can’t just make everybody cry and the peace-out! He might not like getting all mushy, but he does like to listen to himself talk. Also, he accidentally said some stuff that hits even closer to home after recent events. OK, have fun with this, feel bad with me everybody~

Separated some of the groups from the bigger picture, so they’re easier to see individually (I had to go back and re-draw a few areas that were covered in the final version). First is Church and Tex with the AI Fragments. Then there is Tucker and Caboose, with Wash and Carolina. After that is Kai leaning against her bro, and Grif with Simmons in his lap. Next is Locus, with Donut and Doc. Then, Sarge and my OC Poppy. Finally, Sheila and Lopez (being romantic as heck). I had fun doing all these different poses, and just… look how happy they all are~
