Even more Ninjago 'What If's for writers suffering from dreadful writers block! While there's still wonderful angst regarding the fire boi, there are some light hearted ones. Enjoy cause this one's quite lengthy!
What if Chen didn't fully believe Kai became loyal to him? So he used Neuro's ability to look in Kai's head, seeing he was being played by the fire ninja. Chen isn't happy about Kai lying to him so he has Clouse put a spell on the ninja making him believe he is Chen's son, raised on the island alongside Skylor as her brother. Lava & Nya/Skylor.

What if Chen had his men kidnap Kai after Lloyd left? In the time Kai was kidnapped and the Tournament of Elements, Kai was used as a slave to serve Chen obviously with his fire taken. When Kai did something Chen didn't like, he was sent to be chased by the anacondrai serpent until he was exhausted and then Chen would whip him into unconsciousness but he couldn't have his slave out of commission so he had Clouse heal his wounds then send him back to work. Kai's body is almost completely covered in whip scars and Chen has him wear revealing clothing so he can admire the pain he's caused the fire ninja and of course when he has Kai working in front of the contestents, he wears baggy clothing to not cause suspicion. Oh yeah, Kai also has forced amnesia so he doesn't remember the team, only vaguely recognizing them.

What if Kai got flashbacks to his past when they were turned into kids by Garmadon? Where Llyod is still a kid he looks 10, the 4 ninja look 5 or under so Kai keeps getting memories of his parents that has him dissociate through the mission

An entire week of fighting low villains leaves Kai is so done with life. During yet another fight, Kai is just so indifferent, he's casually insults the villains and complains about them without putting much effort into fighting them yet still winning.

I've seen this one a lot so- Kai likes his hair played with when his hair isn't gelled up. On days where his hair is down and something starts ticking him off, the nearest person rushes to 'pet' him which he immediately starts melting into the touch and he forgets why he was mad. Would occasionally demand 'pets' if he was feeling emotionally upset but instead of verbally, he would sit next to them and nudge their hand until they start playing with his hair.

What if they Ninja had feral/beast modes? Where they're elemental powers takes a physical hold on them, giving them unique features and a major power up. What triggers feral/beast mode is when someone they have strong feelings for or heavily attached to is harmed in any way, they won't rest until their charge is safe and the threat is eliminated. However once used it'll leave them exhausted for a week.

So Kai gets possessed, Morro's disbelief in more detail then Kai's subconscious traps Morro, allowing Kai to take back his body. When Kai gets back to the tea shop he casually mentions that he's keeping a ghost named Morro hostage in his own head.

What if Kai (like Ember in the Elemental movie) could hold, or set fires to, different minerals to change to the color of his fire? Or more realistically(ish), what if he had to consume the necessary chemicals for his fire to change? They wouldn't harm him and the colored fire would last for as long as the chemicals are in his system
I don't really have a reason for why I drew skylor, I was looking through my sketches and I found one of her so I updated it.
