It’s the last banter I really wanted to draw, but there’s another one where Merrill continues the subject, so I drew it too:
If Merrill is in Dread Wolf you guys will actually see me go feral
Merrill drives me insane because she's SO IMPORTANT actually to the dragon age plot. Like it's through HER as a companion that we come to learn about the ancient elven empire, it's Merrill who brings eluvians to the forefront of the plot, who talks about how they were in every elven city and let elves communicate, it's Merrill who tells us a long in depth story about the Dreadwolf before we get to inquisition. It's all Merrill!!! She sets up so much inquisition plot!! So much of the future plot!!! And yet she's largely neglected by bioware AND by the fandom like???

Anders: I support mages, so he's not gonna poison me. However he will stare at my cup and overthink every interaction we've ever had while I'm gone, trying to determine what this means. Would trust ✅

Carver: Look, he's an ass but he's probably not going to let anyone poison or otherwise incapacitate me directly on his watch. ✅
Fenris: Remember the whole supporting mages thing? ❌
Isabella: would steal my drink ❌
Merrill: my darling girlfriend whom I love so much. She would 100% get distracted and either walk away or drink it without thinking ❌
Sebastian: Lmao we didn't hang out until I stopped being poor 😂 absolutely not ❌
Varric: yeah I would trust varric! Literally the only person on the trusted list that would hear "hey watch my drink" and not be weird about it ✅
varric: lives in a bar
isabela: has no home and apparently doesn’t bathe
fenris: didn’t bother cleaning the dead bodies out of his mansion
anders: lives in the fucking sewers
merrill: *in her spotless little home* “sorry for the mess”
