confession time!

Sigma... was panicked, to say the least. What if you say no, what if it wasn't perfect like he meant it to be, what if he stumbled over his lines, what if he didn't brush his hair enough this morning (impossible), what if his shirt was ugly (also impossible, he looks gorgeous always)? He's acted this since your first few meetings, but it took some time before the thought came to his mind that he was in love. He didn't even know when or how he could confess! This was an ordeal that, to Sigma, required extraordinary amounts of planning. Every detail had to be perfect, it if wasn't, what if you said no? The thought of confessing, let alone the thought of you, was enough to make his head spin. Sigma hardly even needed a confession, he already trailed after you in his free time like a dog, and always bought you the most expensive things. If that wasn't enough to show how he was head over heels, he went red in the face every other conversation. Needless to say, when he knocks on your door with the cheesiest confession and a bouquet of your favorite flower (no matter how rare), you kiss him.

Twain has always been confident. Flirting with you, always acting laid back. Key word: acting. He's had to act calm since the moment he saw the way your eyes shine and he couldn't stop the scarlet from spreading to his cheeks. This man was dying inside. He was not calm, not when you were smiling at him like that. When he finally got the balls to confess, he finally fully buttoned that damns shirt (highly unusual, you were shocked you could make such a thing happen) and shoved his pride up his ass for a minute. He didn't even have it in him to ask someone for advice. He showed off what he could do, and then when you looked to be in enough awe, he tried his best to express his feelings and keep a straight face (no, he did not keep a straight face).

It was obvious to everyone from the very beginning. He was a young boy who was starting to figure things out in life, and a gorgeous, considerate person like you would obviously attract someone like him. So he followed you around, always offering his aid, time, money, and whatever else you could need. You always made him feel appreciated and seen, what's wrong with returning the favour? Dazai attempted to give him advice on it, but it was really just the entire rest of the agency picking on him. You could see from a mile away how he stuttered, flushed, and stammered when he talked or looked your way. You knew he probably couldn't get the words out of his mouth, so you asked him if you could take a walk on evening and said everything there. He was still speechless, but at least it was said. (He also cried quite a bit, so you tried to buy him ice cream but he finally got the courage to say he'd pay for both of yours <33)

Dazai immediately noticed the way Chuuya felt about you. It took a little while for Chuuya to fall for you, however, but once you two were close, it didn't take much for Chuuya to start feeling more than just platonic things. In short, there wasn't one moment when Chuuya realised he loved you, just a piling up of affection. Chuuya tried to show how he felt in any way except for telling you, solely because he believes actions speak more than words. He wouldn't necessarily be stumbling over his sentences, but he'd probably be busy buying you that expensive first edition poetry book (please say you caught that). Chuuya knew that Dazai knew, and whatever "advice" Dazai gave was nothing that Chuuya would actually trust. Chuuya was actually pretty confident he could make you smitten too- he's pulled plenty, trust me. He knocks on your door one night and asks if you'd like to go try out some restaurant (I shouldn't say some restaurant, it's an expensive one that you mentioned wanting to try sometime). He makes the confession on the spot- it's more honest and meaningful that way, he hopes. You accept, and make out later soon after.

AAAA I loved this prompt, I love writing lovestruck and lovesick people. Also Atsushi and Sigma are precious, not in a way that they're clueless or can't handle themselves; they're just perfect. TV Shows I Would've Watch

So this is inspired from a lot of posts I saw on Tumblr or Pinterest and thats the post. Feel free to add any other idea or reblog.

- Sitcom about Tom Sawyer and Hucky Finn. Hear me out. The books kind of sound like Sitcom and they are great. I think this can be awsome. They deserve at the very the very least a TV show or a movie.

- Sitcom (yes, another one) about all of Shakespeare's characters in modern days as college students that share dorms. Lady Macbeth is a total bitch and Juliet is obsessed with romantic movies and etc.

The first one is mine but the second isn't. I only added the things about Lady Macbeth and Juliet.

part 2:

i decided on these pairs, but first these were the people invited:

The whole ADA (with the exception of Naomi who suspiciously had school that day so she could not attend the wedding (ranpo did not want to get disturbed by Tanizaki's sister all over him at his wedding day))

ONE port mafia member, and it was Chuuya (all for the purpose of putting him inside the escape room with Dazai)

some guild members Poe still had contact with (Steinbeck, Lovecraft, Louisa, Lucy, Mark)

and some special division members/others (that being Ango, Sigma, Mushitaro, and Natsume)

there's definitely some rules in the house but the big ones are:

if you have a destructive ability, you can't use it or you're disqualified!

using abilities is allowed, and some specific rooms do need you to use abilities.

at the end of three hours, your room will be unlocked and you won't be allowed to have cake!

okay first off:

- Natsume decides not to take part in the escape room, saying he's a little tired and would instead like to watch side by side with Ranpo and Poe through cameras they placed in the escape room, watching everyone go through the rooms

- Chuuya and Dazai are obviously paired together. i saw in a reblog that someone said "they would do so much better alone but together they just keep bantering and almost lose" and that is the best way i can describe them (Poe thought it was a lovely idea not knowing the history of these people)

- Atsushi was meticulously picked out. instead of picking his pair he probably picked two random names from a bowl full of names and those were Kunikida and Sigma. They arguably carried the escape room and were probably the first ones out after like ~an hour? because of Sigma's ability. this implies either Kunikida or Atsushi was really like "out of everything rn i just really want to know how to get out of here"

- Yosano did not want to take the risk and work with Lovecraft (for an unspecified reason) and went out of her way to pair herself with Kyoka and Tanizaki since she knew at the very least she could get out the escape house with these two people. They are surprisingly helpful and they were like maybe the second or third group to come out the escape house

- then we got the Kenji. We got the Lovecraft. Got the Steinbeck. Kenji befriended them over the time and Lovecraft genuinely maybe appreciated that?? like oh. finally. someone like John. and Steinbeck was happy as fuck too??? like wow! another farmer guy who knows what it's actually like! that's so cool. i don't even care about the cake anymore this guy is great. (this team takes their time, a whole 2 hours and 30 minutes so they're the last group before Chuuya and Dazai come out)

- Lucy, Louisa and Mark selected their team cause they were like "okay. everyone else is in teams but at least we know each other" (Mark said that and Mark honestly just made up an excuse to annoy and banter with lucy while louisa is there, watching) though they do get out. (thanks to louisa's ability she spent like 10 minutes alone in a room when they were done investigating and then she solved it all on her own. they probably took like 2 hours and 17 minutes in the escape room and most of the time was just mark annoying lucy)

- oh and lastly, the two last picked ended up together which was Mushitaro and Ango. Mushi definitely just uses his ability to find evidence while Ango uses his to search through the memories of items and how to use them. Though, they do definitely like have casual chats? say their thoughts, open up while they solve the room together. they emerge the room a little bit closer (thanks wingman ranpo)

- oh, but lastly, Fukuzawa. Fukuzawa decided to go alone, not caring about the cake but rather he wanted to test how well he's known ranpo. if he can see which parts are the ones Ranpo designed and which ones were the ones that Poe designed. he takes a long time with this but he does solve the room all on his own and emerges as one of the last at a tally of around 2 hours and 27 minutes.

ranpoe wedding but their after party is an escape room and couples/best friends are paired in a group of 3. they have 3 hours to get out the escape room or else there will be no wedding cake for the loser
