Bee pixel art, I made this one 55x55 not thinking about how it'll display really tiny anywhere it's sent. Yeah.

I learned my lesson and later found a way to make pixel art on bigger canvases with an edited pixelate brush

(The very hard to see finish date on it says 3-8-24, btw)

Edit: now that it's posted, it's displaying big but is blurry, wtf? It displayed a tiny image when it was in the queue lol

This one was my first go at using the halftone brush. I fucking love halftone. Couldn't wait to be able to finally use an actual halftone brush and be able to incorporate it into my art

Bee, I was experimenting with brushes again here. But then again I've done that on every krita piece I've made so it's not really noteworthy to bring up

What is noteworthy is how bad I fucked up on the legs 😭 how'd I manage that

Brown headed nuthatch that I fucked up on. Was very lazy on the flowers too

Dragon that started out as a doodle but turned into me messing with things. Blur tool/brush/whatever, alpha locking, line tools, moved a layer (the diamond pattern) over a bit, multiple things that are "fancy" to me. (Using a barebones program for years warped my perception of things lmao)

I cannot believe how easy all these tools make things. I genuinely haven't been able to wrap my head around it. Alpha locking makes altering the color of or adding extra color to line art SO EASY, WHAT THE HELL.

Unfinished thing, I liked the look of it so I saved this rough version. Maybe I'll get around to finishing it...

A lesser angle wing katydid! Their call sounds like a laugh to me. Love hearing these little goofy fucks at night, them going "HEHEHEHE" makes me laugh

Asked some friends what I should draw and gave like 3 options, one of which being secretary bird me with a tie that @icysoulart gave me. Secretary bird was chosen and here we are! I actually don't remember when I started this, it's been sometime in the past 2 weeks though.

I struggled with this, I hardly draw now and it shows. Always too tired to draw when I'm able to, I'm barely awake right now lmao.
