he would always respect your personal space, your room, he isn’t going in unless you are present in the house. your stuff? he isn’t touching it unless he specifically asks for permission. your pets? laundry 👀 i headcanon he reserves the weekends for laundry and would gladly add your clothes in the pile. there was one time you added his white shirt with your pink hoodie in the wash. ever since then, he does NOT trust you :3 “please, next time. let me tend to this one y/n” he is pouty about it but won’t lash out on you.

it takes you two a few months to get comfortable with each other. before, if he was cooking something; he would ask you if you’d want a share. “y/n. i’m preparing some sushi. would you want it?” now… however; things are changed. he is comfortable enough to sit next to you in your bedroom, play around with the chopstick and give you the first bite. “you like it?” if you nod then he would give you the bowl/plate he’s holding and get himself another share from the kitchen. <3

you don’t need to get embarrassed because of your period. he saw you being territorial about the washing area once, ordering him to leave you alone cause you had stained bedsheets. he leaves you be. coming to you later with a cuppa of hot chocolate. “there we go,” he mumbles, adding a few roasted marshmallows in it and flicking your forehead. “don’t worry about it and don’t act so prude next time, y/n.” he smiles, winking at you.

things are pretty normal at first. he is fine with your friends/flings visiting you. you are fine with his friends visiting him. he has a lot of flings in the beginning but never tells you any details about him when you ask. saying, “unimportant recreational things should be better forgotten,”

would probably ask you out after he realizes he is getting extremely jealous of the male friends you have. suddenly a normal game of truth and dare over drinks/never have i ever over booze. only annoys him. you had a dare once to kiss the guy beside him, but itachi held you by the nape of your neck and shoved his tongue inside you, kissing you fervently in a drunken haze.

would probably ask you on a formal date the next day, apologising for any boundaries crossed. >:3 best boyfriend okay?

you have tasks divided, you bring the groceries, he cooks mostly. you clean the drawing room, he cleans the kitchen area. since he is an early bird, you ask him to wake you up on certain days. never wakes you up without a steaming cup of coffee along with croissants. <3 he is a man of class duh 🙄

whenever you have any arguments it is because sometimes he can be quite peculiar about things being done only in a certain way. he is the king of cold shoulder but eventually gives in.

once you two start dating he is happy to sleep in your room, happy to lull you into sleep after rearranging your guts :3; you tease him about it saying, “now i know why the girlies swarmed here like bees,” and he can be pretty smooth when needed, smiling tenderly. “well, now i gave the queen bee with me.”

he is your personal coffee machine. with the stress lines he has you bet he drinks a lot of black coffee. however the vending machine and its crappy packed coffee isn’t where its at. you take your time to get 2 cappuccinos everyday and spend time intricately putting sugar in them. itachi is a keen observer and will prepare it for you during those times when ur extremely busy. suppose you have an urgent meeting, or just a commitment you couldn’t miss. can’t let his champ get all drowsy can he?

on occasions when you are tired and annoyed. he would order starbiez (starbucks) and share it with you. knowing your love for their frappes. however keep in mind he is only doing this cause ur his office bestie grrr! also; when people try to get into your possé he can be slightly unkind. “i suppose you can tend to this later,” he smiles softly. asking for your excessively social colleague to back off when you & him are out to take a breather.

you share your best kept secret — your spotify playlist with him which you listen to often while working. he also, does the same. eventually ya’ll find out how similar your tastes are <3 in music. this leads to him randomly pinging you on teams with a song link, or sharing a lo-fi, reverb version of the song.

will randomly call you when you don’t wanna be disturbed just so you can share your screen & it will show as DND to others. however, he sits beside you the whole time working. <3 bestie 101 he’s the best okay?

can be quite cute when he asks you that you should have a makeup touch-up. whenever you have important meetings, he will be there asking you to retouch your blush/hair. “look good. remember they are already baffled by your brilliance. your beauty is the cherry on top.”

can be ur smoking buddy however he is reluctant to. looks like a mafia boss when he’s smoking and always rolls his eyes with a friendly smirk when you ask him whether his side hustle is of a mafia boss & whether he is doing this one cause of boredom. responds with, “guess we’ll see when i abduct you,”

at work parties he insists on driving you home cus he doesn’t trust anybody for shit. once you asked him that after 2 years if him & you both are still single he can marry you and that got my baby flustered lajsgdjdks

☁︎︎ 20/10 points for great listener: He got dissmissed as a child when he needed it the most and knows that pain and NEVER wants his s/o to feel like that. Never ever - that would be his worst nightmare come true

☁︎︎ Trust is really important to him and he wants his s/o to trust him that he won’t do that to them

☁︎︎ He is the person that will sit with them and be there for them, but won’t hug or touch them unless they ask him too

☁︎︎ he always makes sure if something he does is ok with you and if that’s the way you like to be comforted - if you deny his hugs he won’t be mad at you. He’ll sit with you and talk and if you don’t want to talk he’ll just offer his company to you

☁︎︎ now he would do anything, but leave you alone. He just can’t bring himself to leave you alone especially when something is up

☁︎︎ Itachi is big on comfort food because he remembers how his mom used to make him comfort food when he came back from a particularly hard day. He’d often watch her cook and that would relax him, but he also remembered the ingredients and how to make her dishes

☁︎︎ he goes off a lot of personal experience so if you ever feel like Itachi comforting you is like a being in your mom's nice warm hug it’s probably because that’s what Itachi is trying to make you feel - his hugs always feel fuzzy and like home

☁︎︎ Also Itachi is always scared if his past experiences will make you trivialize your pain. He really doesn’t want that because of how much he cares about you

☁︎︎ You might not even have a reason to feel terrible and to him, it’s still fully valid and he wants to help you through that. That’s why he might sometimes hold back on telling you his past because deep down he’s scared that will push you away or make you believe your pain isn’t valid

☁︎︎ that said, he doesn’t sugarcoat. If something is not ok he won’t tell you it’s ok

☁︎︎ he’ll reassure you that you’ll make it, but won’t hide the fact that it will be hard

☁︎︎ all in all, would definitely recommend - one of the best cuddle and comfort buddies

Deidara:

☁︎︎ doesn’t know what to do and panics a bit himself

☁︎︎ will pull you into his arms the moment he sees you and would hug you VERY tightly

☁︎︎ kind of helps because now you can feel his heartbeat that starts calming you down

☁︎︎ boy tries his best to calm you down which consists of cuddles and telling you that everything will be ok

☁︎︎ He will make some attempts to make you smile or laugh to calm you down

☁︎︎ it’s a bit hard for him to stay in one place and listen, but you bet that he sits his ass down to listen to you

☁︎︎ a good thing about him is that his past isn’t extremely dramatic unlike Itachi’s and Kakashi’s so with him it’s hard to feel guilty or trivialize your pain

☁︎︎ While holding you Deidara will gently pet your hair and if it helps he’ll let you play with his blond mane
