My own little parody of Genesis being a Smexy Villain 😏🌹

So here are my Top 3 favorite (headcanon) ships in FF Universe ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡

1. AeriSeph (Aerith x Sephiroth)

I LOVE to pair characters who contrast and parallel with each other. Just like Yin and Yang ☯️ where two opposing forces are meant to balance each other. I love the many possible dynamics they will have.

Opposites attract, right?

Sephiroth who was 'created' to be the "World's Most Super Soldier"(you know what I mean) and of course, to be the Strongest Weapon of Mass Destruction. I know it sounds evil but actually, this boy TERRIBLY NEEDS A HUG. ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡

Why Fate is so cruel to him?! ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵┻┻

Aerith, on the other hand is a Human-Cetra hybrid. She inherited the ability of her Cetra ancestors of being able to communicate with the Planet. So, of course, being the Planet's confidante (jk) actually, she does not 💯% know Gaia's will but because she bears that 'special gift', it is her duty to protect the Planet at all costs.

And their parallelisms speak of themselves. So they are a POWER COUPLE.

2. CaiRai (Caius x Lightning)

Actually, I have always adored Caius since the release of FF13. The moment I saw him, I was like, "His hair is so cool! I love the feathers accent on his head!"

(Poor me, Im a big fangirl when it comes to boho style especially in men 😅). Jokes aside, here is an another 'Power couple' dynamic. Literally, 'POWER' since both of these two characters are the strongest in the whole FF13 universe. Only that, Caius is the villain while Lightning is the she-ro.

I swear, I'll never get bored watching them fight against each other (literally for eternity) especially when their chemistry is oozing with fire and ice. Fire, since Caius is one big naughty boy and Ice, since Lightning is immune to his (subtle flirts *winks*) taunts and compliments

(Sorry girl, its just that I can't believe how hard as rock it is for you to notice this man's smooth 'villain/admirer' moves) 😂😜

3. GenTifa (Genesis x Tifa)

So another "unlikely" rare pair since I think only a few people ship them. But as for me, actually it was my sister who is a die-hard fan of this ship and I was towed away with her 😅. But I did not regret it after reading some of their fanfics (which fueled the 🔥 even more).

Genesis, the eccentric, haughty, sassy, dramatic, poetic, fashionable, genius, manipulative, elegant ... (my impression of him is greatly tainted by the fanfics I've read 😆) 1st Class Soldier who is Sephiroth's colleague (and let us not forget about Angeal). So the Holy Trinity is complete! ✨

Actually, I find him amusing. Not just with his eccentric tastes but his love for poetry (despite calling it 'Loveless') 😅. I am a big softie for poetry, especially of its hidden messages and symbolisms.

I like to counter his "prim-and-proper / prudence" with Tifa Lockhart's "tough but cute" personality.

Oh-ho! She may not look like it but she's one tough cookie! 💪 Plus she's HOT! The dynamic between these two would surely make it into either a disastrous yet fun storyline or a cute romantic comedy with a dash of feistiness, of course! 😂

This reminds me of a fanfic I just recently read where Genesis is a divorce lawyer who does not believe in marriage and prefers to have the life of a bachelor with multiple dates and Tifa who is his conservative neighbor was just recently dumped by her long-term bf. Genesis lends her a hand and everything is history 🤫😉.

I swear, I was giggling the whole night reading that fic. 🤭

So I have been recently busy making some fanarts, fanvids and headcanon storylines for them .

Here is the update:

I just finished making 2 AeriSeph fanvids (actually they are 3 - the first one was published in my YT account years ago), 3 GenTifa fanvids (OMG!! I just can't get enough of them, especially with my sister giving me more ideas to make 😅), 3 FF7 parody videos and Im currently working on my 1st CaiRai fanvideo 🤞.

AeriSeph week is fast approaching but I am still dazed with all the parody headcanons 😅. Humor does not want to leave me!

Well, in the end, I would greatly benefit from all the work I've done since I want to entertain myself with my creations 🤩. And of course, I love to share them to everyone by posting them on my social media accounts. 💌

Thank you to all those who supported my works. Im totally a newbie with digitalart and my fanvids are pretty simple and straightforward 😅 but I will never forgive myself for not putting all these overflowing ideas into reality.

Shinra and Dog Symbology Analysis

I was listening to this song and I couldn't help but think of Zack's story throughout Crisis Core/Reunion, and ponder on the dog symbolism and it's connection to Shinra.

Shinra represents the familiar yet oppressive force in human society, so having it represented by dogs is brilliant in my opinion. It shows how something can be so beloved and integral to our history can become twisted in the wrong hands.

Case in point, Shira's mascot Stamp.

"On one of the loading screens for Remake it states "A sweet little canine character beloved by the citizens of Midgar. A regular fixture in cartoons and movies, his face is on every corner of the city either in toy or poster form. Originally used as propaganda material during wartime". - ff7 remake wiki

Shinra twists the common association of a dog to manipulate the population feeling for their own objective. For Context, Dogs are usually depicted to symbolize guidance, protection, loyalty, alertness, and love. So seeing Stamp people will tend to automatically assume these positive traits, not including his catchy theme song that gets stuck in your head reinforcing these themes.

Ironically Stamp also shows Shinra's true nature. Negative symbolism for dogs represents Envy, Fury, War, Greed, Pitiless, Bragging, Folly. With lesser known symbolism such as Reckless & Manipulative.

This is even shown more throughout the FF7: Re-Trilogy, for those within Shinra or those who have history with the company.

In-games Examples

-Zack characteristics and nickname of Puppy.

-Genesis calling Tseng a Shinra lapdog.

-Barrett antagonizing Cloud about his loyalty to Shinra , in which he says 'or is he is a loyal little doggy.

-Rufus Pet Dark Star ("A military canine serving as Rufus's personal guard dog. A one-off breed specially enhanced by Shinra's R&D Division, it follows its master's orders without hesitation, and will die to protect him" - FF7 Remake Ultimania)

-The Guard Dogs used or experimented by Shinra.

-The Angeal copy that saves Aerith and dies giving her last letter to Zack.

-etc

Symbolic Examples

-Each of the department heads for Shinra beside Reeve, represents an aspect of the dog's negative symbolism

(Reeves cat symbolism through Cait Sith sets him apart from the rest, and why he joins cloud and co in defying his colleagues).

President Shinra - Greed

Heidegger - Fury/Bragging

Palmer - Folly/Reckless

Scarlett -Pitiless

Hojo - Manipulation

Rufus/Larzard (being sons of the President) - Envy

However the one thing that unites them all is their use or love of War (physical or mental).

I’ve been thinking about like FF7 monster au for my favs and I’ve basically come up with this:

Zack - werewolf or some sort of weredog (Zack the puppy real)

Cloud - chocobo (this is completely self indulgent and yes I am Right)

Aerith - dragon (i love dragons she just has soo many dragon vibes)

And now my crisis core favs:

Sephiroth - snake (u KNOW he has the snake half body…)

Angeal - he feels like he’d be a phoenix… (i feel like rebirth and coming back in a different form is a pretty prominent thing with his character)

Genesis - vampire (this is basic but i stand by it he LOOKS like a vampire cmon)

If this gets ANY attention I’ll gladly make some hcs for it, send in asks if you want too I’d love to hear some opinions on this.

I REALLY hope they explore Genesis, Angeal and Sephiroth’s friendship more but at the same time I want it to keep being vague because all the fan headcanons are amazing.

Logically I know something like Genesis reading out fanfiction of the three out loud to them would NEVER be canon but it’s never explicitly stated as NOT canon so…..

Or the thought of Genesis and Sephiroth sharing their beauty routines while Angeal just tells them he washes his face in the morning, thus receiving a disgusted reaction from both.

Maybe them getting absolutely wasted and singing together while walking down the shinra halls, much to Lazard’s dismay.

It’s just so fun to explore, i hope the canon gives us more than one cutscene and I hope it encourages even MORE insane fan headcanons.

I’ve been a bit busy with everyday life recently so have this collection of headcanons I thought up while on the go (some are for a more domestic setting than the actual game universe):

- Angeal wearing socks with sandals.

- Sephiroth’s morning beauty care routine taking 2 hours (nobody but him sees the bathroom before 8am)

- Genesis wearing 3 layers in the summer and refusing to admit hes hot even after being rushed to the ER for heatstroke.

- Zack being a Hawaiian shirt kind of guy, with khakis.

- Cloud has trouble regulating his body temperature so he often needs blankets or cool things to heat/cool himself off properly.

Kunsel never shows his face because he was one of the first experiments scientists did on G-cells and he doesn’t want the real genesis or shinra to sue him for his likeness. A.K.A- Kunsel is the very first Genesis copy. The few times he has been seen without his helmet he has to act like he is the real Genesis to escape. Even if the person who sees him is Sephiroth. He will take knowledge of their relationship to his grave.

I'm DYING at the thought of this + Sephgen

*Sephiroth sees Kunsel without his helmet and approaches him*

Kunsel (in his mind): Ok, here comes Sephiroth. I gotta act natural since they're best friends. Maybe give him a fist bump, pat him on the back or⏤

*Sephiroth grabs him by the waist, dips him, and kisses him passionately before caressing his face, then walking away*

Kunsel: What kind of friendship do these people have
