Your poses have so much energy and emotion in them! Do you have any tips for learning what kinda body language to use? I feel like every time I try to draw a pose, I get stuck trying to think how to show the right emotion and energy a character has. Like is there a shoulders back = confident cheat sheet?
Also I love your Link comics!! You draw the movement and hands so readable and it's awesome.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments! I like to have fun with expressions but I admit sometimes I’m stumped on what to do too. Here’s my guide to getting out of that rut:
Just have fun and be okay with over-exaggerating your lines from time to time! I promise you, it gets easier and eventually becomes second nature.
A couple tips for drawing expressions I made just for funsies. Keep in mind that this might not be helpful for people with more “realistic” artstyles, but I hope it’s at least helpful for some people!! :)
