Imagine if the Cat King noticed Edwin was more comfortable when other man was fully dressed so he decided to dressed as Edwardian gentleman (nice hat required) and ask for a date. Edwin will be like "YoU aRe rIdicuLous" but go out with him anyways
Edwin managed to count all cats in town bc cats wanted to see the boy their King had interested in. cats watched their detective work and made silly commentary all the time. except when Monty kissed Edwin they all gasped =O.O=

I know this is kind of forbidden question but have to ask for science : If they could put the girl into their backpack, is it possible they could put Crystal into backpack and bring her through mirror? This is very important if so I'm gonna get the Cat King sneak into backpack and blame it for cat's usual behavior I need him in their office in London
I really want to see the Cat King dressed as an Edwardian gentleman so I wrote a short one. sorry for my poor English!
"You are ridiculous," Edwin almost shouted. "You cannot walk around in those, outdated, outfit."
Everyone looked at Edwin. Charles and Crystal perched at the desk, as Edwin faced an unexpected visitor in the middle of their office.
"Outdated? Who's wearing outdated school uniform for decades? Not that I don't like it." The Cat King replied.
He stood tall before Edwin, too proudly, in an outfit that made Edwin freeze in disbelief.
"I have no problem with that. No one can see us except ghosts." Edwin said.
"So why are you making such a fuss? They only see me, and I'm perfectly fine being watched."
The Cat King made an elegant gesture to show himself. He was wearing a black frock coat and a top hat, a cane in his hand.
"He has a point," Charles chimed in. "No one can see you, Edwin."
"Charles? You're supposed to be on my side!" Edwin accused him in disbelief.
The Cat King pointed at Charles, looking pleased.
"Crystal! Help me out!" Edwin pleaded.
"Yeah. he's insane." She was busy with her fingernails. "Honestly, who cares? Just get on with it."
The Cat King laughed at her honesty, and turned towards the door. Edwin looked at his friends hoping for help, but Charles just shrugged.
"Come on, Edwin. A gentleman shouldn't keep his date waiting outside."
As the voice came from downstairs, Edwin took a deep breath and mumbled.
"You are not my date."
Edwin strode through the door, leaving his friends behind.
I got an odd idea that the Cat King hovering around the dead boys office (don't ask why or how), so Charles banned him, Edwin concerned "But what if he has an important case?" then Charles declared the Cat King banned in human form. He thought this way he couldn't be a threat. The Cat King agreed to condition and decided to sit on Crystal's lap. Crystal had confused but the Cat King acted really nice cat for her, so she took him as new friend. Now both boys got jealous and making Crystal even more confused.
What I like the Cat King's last scene is that Edwin completed his task. After a little cheek kiss, they shared fond smile and a nod, which they hadn't show each other entire time. Then Edwin turned and back to his normal self, gave him number of cats perfectly. Like he's going back to the Cat King's game and take over. Like he's okey involving into the Cat King's game and they can play again. The Cat King's smile back to his usual self too. They are not in love in this moment but there are many possibilities, to become friends or competitor, or more. I mean, they are not going to be love-love relationship, but there's something dangerous, yet enjoyable, the game full of wit only they can understand.
In my head after the season 1 the Cat King starts fiddling Edwin's wrist when he flirts with Edwin. Edwin knows it is not immoral action it's just a wrist but that reminded him of magic bracelet and his first meeting with the Cat King, so ~insert flash back of the Cat King in bedchamber~
I know the Cat King is an antagonist, a predator, a bad cat as sexy as possible, and Catwin is not gonna be endgame, therefore I will write tons of Catwin endgame fanfic and no one can stop me
