Yeah, those angels. They're really like everyone else; they only care about superficial things like Christmas lights and eating sugar cookies. Why else would they come down to earth? Earth is where all the cool things are. So I guess this guy's out of luck. But look, it all works out in the end. After he freezes to death he's going to go to heaven, and then he's free to come down whenever he wants and be an asshole like this angel. That's what a lot of people don't realize, that's the true divine mystery. Spiritual fulfillment isn't about freedom from pain, or freedom from desire. It's about freedom to be an asshole. You fuckin' farter. ; ) Happy holidays.
So my boyfriend @ravenfal came down to visit last weekend and we had some fun with my swords :) I totally didnāt plan it or realize at the time but I love how we got that light side/dark side effect since I wear purple 90% of the time which was dark enough that it looks like black here*, and he was wearing white and just happened to stand on the side with the Christmas tree. Iām quite pleased with how movie poster-ish it turned out overall. We had fun :)Ā
*Actually I realize now I was wearing black pants and a black T-shirt with a purple tree on it and a purple sweater, so I am also wearing quite a bit of black;Ā technically it might even be mostly black. The purple sweater looks black, though, so the effect is accentuated.Ā

Ooo I love it! It really has thatĀ ācalm moment in the midst of stormsā vibe, like I feel the tranquility of the moment but also the tinge of melancholy that comes from the constant danger of being a Killjoy. It has a soft bittersweetness.
Anyways, future me here, just combing back through my drafts for anything with a Christmas vibe. I spotted the Christmas lights (and, once I increased my screen brightness, Poisonās sweater). So, have some Christmas Killjoys :)Ā
