Au: everybody lives nobody dies (though some, like Jenny, are seriously injured) and the scoobies and co. are all sitting around in a dining room post season 7. Tara goes to watch TV with dawn and Giles insists on getting snacks. Xander pulls out a pouch with a goofy grin on his face as he sets it on the table. Out of nowhere, he announces that everyone at the table will be playing either smash or pass, or smash marry kill.
