Peace of Mind

There it was again. This odd sensation always caused him a headache, a chill down his spine in a split of second. He thought about telling Sasuke, maybe he’d have a cure, but how could if he doesn’t even know how to explain?

He’d have this feeling in moments like that one. A silent night, her between his arms sleeping graciously. He could feel her body moving on it’s one while breathing. The hair falling on her face, her half open lips, her simple smile that would appear everytime she had a good dream.

In moments like this the storm in his mind seemed just to… stop.

He’d forget about war, about being a Lord, even about the stupid lines Shingen trows at her to make him mad. The fuzzy mind was now quiet and it was making him crazy.

A gust of wind blow at the room, making her tremble a little with the cold. Out of instintic, he brought her closer to him.

She woke up from the touch and lifted her head to look at him. His eyes were locked on hers, and then, just like that, the rest of the world was gone to him.

“…Kenshin?”

“Yes…”

“I never saw your face like this…”

“What do you mean?”

“Your eyes, they show so much calm… you seem to be in such a peace of mind”

“Oh…”

Peace.

Yes, indeed… Maybe that feeling could be called peace. His existence has always been for battle, and she was changing everything out of her own will.

She didn’t force anything on him, his thoughts were just naturally… fading. Blood didn’t have the same appeal anymore. His sword never called for him the same way. Rebellions that made him stay out for long are now annoying him. He wasn’t liking those changes, but he loved her to much to stop them.

“Yes… Maybe I’m at peace”

She had a little smile on her lips

“The God of War at peace? I thought you two would never work it out”

“I thought so too, but… unfortunately it comes along with having you near”

She frowned at his statement

“…Are you uncomfortable, Kenshin?”

“Yes…Even so I’d rather have you closer”

He hugged her tight and embraced that peace with a kiss. He could feel her melting in his arms, her temperature rising and the starting need in her body. He broke the kiss just to see her red face and those sparkling eyes. She was everything he wanted now.

“You are changing me. Changes bring… uncertain feeling. But I’m certain of my love for you, so you can cause me all the piece of mind you want”

She pressed her face on his neck, cuddling, making all their body touch. He caressed her hair in response.

“Don’t mind if I do”

Day 9 - IRL which warlord would make the best husbando for you?

Obviously it's Kenshin!!!!

I had my eyes set on Masamune before because that hot one can cook, that's a plus. But Masa wouldn't be a good husbando for me IRL because of his all the time fun loving way, I'm too serious for that.

That's why Kenshin would be my perfect husbando, because I really think we are alike (except the love war thing). In fact, my hubby has a lot of Kenshin's good traits, so I'm not so far from the goal 🤗
