The eternal question, how much of a fuss do you want to kick up over being misgendered by relatives you don’t see very often?

I went to my grandpa’s birthday a while back and… Yeeaaahh…

I didn’t want to make a big deal about it, but it did really bother me.

not thrilled with the face but without thinking too hard about it i wanted to do some concept art for how i picture veronica.

shed probably be around 16-17 in this design and going for more of a punk scientist look.

the idea kind of came from a concept i had that she had a Favourite Shirt from the Museum of Natural History that eventually got too small for her so someone (i think probably maxine and/or paula, but maybe nadia) helped her cut up the shirt and sew the design onto the back of a denim jacket which then became the new staple for her.

i headcanon her with a lot of autistic traits that ive enjoyed projecting onto her.

design notes from top to bottom:

1. im looking at a lot of different hairstyles that generally focus on keeping it up and out of the way, in this sketch i went with fairly simple braids that are tied back into a ponytail

2. she has a stim necklace with several different beads on it

3. usually has the collar popped on her jacket

4. a few pins on the front of her jacket (maybe some pride pins?) plus some extra pockets.

5. always carries pens and a notebook

6. has her dad's old watch and belt which were among his personal belongings left behind

7. cargo pants for maximum storage

8. steel capped boots

I really relate to Frisk and Chara from Undertale, so I drew myself, I know it kinda sucks but I’m happy(ish) with it.

They were a horrifying lab experiment gone wrong.

They make scary noises and can only drag themselves across the ground by their front paws.

They are very frienly and like to cuddle and lick people’s faces (a horrifying process)
