I mean, of course there's the feistiness, and the take no shit attitude, and the eat the rich attitude, and the heart at the center of all his actions.

But also, throughout all his frustration with Methas' attempts to buy him, at no point does he ever question why Methas wants him. There's no moment of "why does this super rich powerful man want to keep little ole me around". No wondering what his appeal could be to someone like Methas.

No, this rich asshole is obsessed with him, and it's just an annoying matter of fact (on the surface, we know underneath he wants to rail this man).

I appreciate that level of self-actualization.

by far one of the most entertaining aspects of we are is that at the beginning none of the characters are technically in the same genre. tan is in an enemies to lovers romcom. fang is in a family romance drama. q is in a slice of life show. toey is in a drama romance with a secret admirer subplot. chain is in a classic friendship sitcom. pun is not aware he's in a show. phum is in a 'traumatized soft protagonist that seems harsh learns to love again' show. peem is in uni.
