Support Fahmi and his family (@fahmiakkila) - Fahmi's life has been turned completely upside down, and he now finds himself responsible to save his parents, sisters, & brothers - 7 members.

Save the Maliha family (@dinamaliha) - Dina wants to save her mother, two sisters, and three brothers. The family lost contact with their father when the genocide started. They desperately need to get to Egypt.

Save Firas' family (@firassalemnewacccount @prosolitudeeee) - Firas is a father of two children, a 10-month-old boy and a two-year-old girl, who are in need of safe haven in Egypt.

Since last night when we heard about the government launching drones to Israel because of Israel attacking the Iranian embassy building, there have three kinds of people here.

Some of us are laughing and making jokes about the possibility of war, not because we think it's funny, but because it's our coping mechanism. We've been going through hard times for years now.

Some of us are just... Empty of any emotion. We just don't care. Bad things happen a lot here, so what's one more bad thing?

And the rest of us... We're scared. I'm one of those people.

Remember the Mahsa Amini protests? Those protests weren't small or unimportant. Most of us Iranians hate our government. The government has been killing us and ruining this country for years now.

We're too worried about shortage of money and food and a home to live in to really care about anything else. We have bigger problems.

I'm not sure if this will help at all but I'm scared and tired of not speaking. I just wanted to make sure at least some people in the world would know that Iranian people really don't want this war.

I want to wake up tomorrow to be mad that I'm forced to wear hijab to school and be worried about my physics exam. I want to come back home to study because I want to be one of the people who will one day help build free Iran. I want to make sure we'll be known for our old history and amazing culture and happy people.

So understand why a war between Iran and Israel should not start. We're already fighting for basic human rights and in a war against our government. Isn't that enough war for one country?

It’s a Gotcha for Gaza, where people donate to valid Go fund Mes, and submit a Blue Lock themed prompt they would like drawn or written in exchange for their donation. Right now they’re accepting said donations for 5-8 USD. The motive is to encourage more people to donate in support of the Palestinian people during this genocide.

I'm very worried about money

With love and patience, I need folks to please set aside some time to get better at recognizing antisemitic dogwhistles.

I'm using the following as an example, but intentionally not singling out the person who put this on my dash, cause I'm talking about a broader issue, and I want everybody to self examine.

Okay. this ended up on my dash, a comment in a thread.

"noticing" is a dogwhistle for an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

let's look at the profile:

^ "queen of white." gonna say that's a pretty big red flag for white supremacy.

we haven't even started looking through the blog yet, this is just the post & blog title.

if you go looking on the blog, pretty quickly you find this user is also reblogging from other white supremacists

if you scroll for about ~2 minutes you start seeing her use extremely loaded incendiary and derogatory language about trans women

finally, if you search "white" you see blatant nazi posting.

if you spend a little time familiarizing yourself with antisemitic dogwhistles, you will save time because you won't need to look through blogs to check, you will see "noticing" in that context and you will already know this is a nazi.

antisemitism is often one of the easiest ways for fascists to get their messaging to spread widely because very few people take the time to learn these dogwhistles, and a lot of people respond to Jewish people patiently pointing them out over and over again with some level of disbelief/resentment/hostility.

it is to everyone's benefit, for everyone's collective safety, for you to familiarize yourself with antisemitic dogwhistles.
