Toph: I know for a fact that literally two weeks ago you started sobbing because you couldn’t find one of your fifteen turtle ducks

Zuko: hey how’s your relationship with Lin by the way?

Korra: alright I think that’s enough reunion time for one day. Let’s roll Flameo Hotman. Oh my god why did I say that I’m so sorry it just slipped out-

Zuko: don’t worry about, I’ve been called worse. For example, I’ve been called Fire Lord Ozai’s son. That was a really hard time for me

Korra:……but aren’t you- you know what? Not important. I should focus on reintegrating back into society. Later Toph! It’s been real!

{First of all, thanks to this post for the idea}

At the moment we don't have a fixed story for this AU, it's simply Mako being a vampire for a very short time, learning to control his powers with the guidance of Lin, a former monster hunter who keeps her own secrets.

Lin seems like just another high society lady, her scar is the biggest sign that she is not just any lady, she is running away from her past and meeting Mako is her new anchor to life.

She is a great fighter, especially with knives and chains that are only dangerous because she uses them.

In the sketches it is not completely understood but our Lin was a family woman, on her neck there is a cameo where she carries a photograph of who were her children and her ex-husband (Yes, it is Tenzin, of course it is Tenzin. Who else could it be?).

She lost all of that in a painful way so when Mako started to rely on her she used her knowledge of monsters to train him, mainly through her blood.

As for Mako, he's a ticking time bomb, the only thing stopping him from unleashing a massacre is the hope of regaining his humanity (and Lin, who keeps him at bay).

Although at first Mako begins a crusade to get rid of his vampire condition, once he begins to control and understand his new nature, he begins to feel more comfortable in his new skin.

(And of course a scene of Linko dancing. How could it be missing?)

This AU contains other stuff like Necromancer Amon, Werewolf Kuvira, and Asami Damphyr, but we'll explore that later.

I already took out the sketches like this because I've been doing this for a long time and if I keep waiting to digitize it I'll never show anything.
