he's a fucking legend
He gets to the end of the ramparts, but instead of stopping, he leaps up on top of the wall, then out over the moat - just takes a running jump off the building! And doesn’t fall! He floats out over the moat and lands on the other side. It’s the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.
I’m reading Wayward Son right now and it has inspired me to dig out all the sequences I sketched out from Carry On. Hoping to finish them all in the next few months! (And then proceed onto some Wayward Son art :O )

me: as much as i want barbie ferreira and neelam gill to play nina zenik and inej ghafa in a six of crows movie, i also want the actors to be the same age as the characters because in their story, their age potrays such a powerful message about children being forced to grow up too fast because of the irresponsible adults around them. for example, inej ghafa being forced to mature too soon because of the racism and fetishization she experienced during her time as a sex worker. or matthias helvar being forced to conform to racist ideologies because he had no one else to look up to. i’m scared if the actors are adults, the viewers won’t understand the message.
