I am in a desperate state of being. I am a recovering addict that is struggling and fighting with every ounce of my being to stay clean for my baby girl, my 14 month old daughter.

The insurance will not cover my medication that I need in order to stay clean. It keeps me from being unable to use heroin and opiates, the drugs that have destroyed my life for years. But I can’t let them destroy me again, not when I have a sweet baby girl who needs my help and needs me to be the strong mom that I know I am for her.

I have a medication that keeps me clean for her, but they don’t take me insurance that would make it actually manageable. This is something that I need once a month. It is $210 for my medication. I dread literally every payments I’m going to have to make on this for as long as I will need it, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen so that I can be strong for her.
