Description: Y/N and Jay are in a secret relationship. Will likes Y/N and makes a move on his brothers girl.

Y/N and Jay had been secretly dating for four months now, and it was going relatively well. They'd spend the night and most days off together, and have little dates at home. Which is what they'd done last night.

Y/N locks her apartment door and follows Jay into the hallway.

"Ready?" Jay asks. Y/N nods and they interlace their fingers before they start walking.

Jay walks Y/N to her car and they stand outside of it for a few seconds.

"Be careful today please. I don't need you showing up in the ED with a GSW."

"Can't make any promises, but I'll try my best." He chuckles then kisses her forehead. "You be careful too. Don't try to fight grown men if they are on steroids."

"Will do." Y/N laughs. She looks at her watch and sighs. This was her least favorite part of the day. "I'll see you later, ok?" Jay nods and gives her one last kiss before he opens her door for her and closes it once she gets in and starts the vehicle. He doesn't make his way to his vehicle until she's made it out of the parking lot.

Y/N and Will were working on a young boy who'd been brought in, obviously assaulted. They'd called for the police to come to the hospital, but then they got dragged into questioning from the head of the hospital.

They'd finally made it into the break room for they're lunch when Y/N caught Will staring at her.

"You ok Halstead?" She asks as she sits down next to him.

"Yeah." He clears his throat and looks away. "Just thinking about some things."

"What things? I could probably help." Y/N offers and sits her lunch on the coffee table.

"Well. I uh-." He hesitates. "There's this girl I like. I've liked her for a while now, but I don't know much about her, like if she's single, because she tends to like having her business broadcasted to the whole city of Chicago." He pauses. "She sort of acts like she might feel the same way, but I'm not sure if it's just how it seems to me."

Y/N thinks for a minute.

"I could tell him how I found out Jay liked me. I mean telling one person about us wouldn't be terrible, besides, he's his brother."

"Well, you could try making a move on her, but a subtle one, you know? So it's like if she responds well to it, she most definitely is attracted to you, but if not, she'll think of it as a friendly gesture." Y/N explains. Will nods and they sit there for a few moments in silence before Y/N starts to speak again. "I actually want to tell you something. I'm-." She gets cut off by Will smashing his lips onto hers. Y/N squeaks and jumps up from the couch. She covers her mouth with her hand. "-Dating your brother!" She finishes.

Jay has seen it all. He was the Detective sent to get information from the boy, and Maggie had told him where both you and Will were.

Well, he didn't see it all. Just the part that makes it look like Y/N kissed his brother.

For the rest of the day, Y/N didn't hear anything from Jay, and when she went to his place that evening, she didn't expect grumpy Jay.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Y/N asks as she sees Jay's grumpy demeanor.

"You should know." He states coldly.

"Ok?" She drags.

Had he seen what happened?

"You kissed my brother."

Yep. He saw.

"Jay. That wasn't at all what it looked like." Y/N says.

"Well to me, it looked like exactly what I saw." Jay retorts.

"I didn't want you to see it." Y/N whispers and rubs her temples.

"So you did kiss Will?!"

"No! Of course not! Will said he was having trouble telling if a girl he liked felt the same way, and I decided to tell him about us to use you as an example, but before I could get it out he kissed me!" Y/N exclaims, using her hands for special effect. "I'd never do that to you, and neither would Will! It was a mistake."

"But, you guys were so close to each other-." Jay cuts himself off.

"I was just trying to be a good friend, Jay." She says softly. "I love you. I'd never, ever, do that to you."

Jay looks at her, surprised.

That was the first time she's told him she loves him.

"It's ok. I get it." Jay says. "I guess I was just worried that I lost you to my own brother." He admits.

"No, never." Y/N hugs him and Jay just melts from her warm presence.

"And by the way. I love you too."

Wisdom [Harrison Reid]

Description: Harrison gets his wisdom teeth out, and he is very endearing when he is drugged up. 

Warnings: None, unless you count wisdom teeth removal and Harrison being cute. 

"Are you nervous?" Y/N asks her boyfriend, Harrison.

"No, not really." Harrison replies. "Just nervous about how I'm going to act after." He runs his hand through his hair and sighs.

"Why?"

"Because any other time I've been under anesthesia, I've said weird things."

"You say weird things when you're sober. What's the difference?"

"Not helping." Harrison groans and leans on her shoulder, head resting at the base of her neck. Y/N laughs and scratches his scalp.

"I'm just trying to keep your mind off of it."

"Yeah yeah."

Harrison's name gets called and the couple go back to the room, and they let Y/N stay with him until he's put under. She presses a quick kiss to his forehead and squeezes his hand before making her way back into the waiting room.

"Where Y/N?" She hears Harrison ask from his room. He was out of surgery and finally able to see her, so he wasn't patient.

"She's coming- Ah, there she is." The nurse says and Harrison quickly looks to the door.

"Y/N! I missed you sooooooooooo much. This much." He spreads his arms out as far as they go.

"I missed you too Hutz." She sits in the chair besides his recliner and he grabs her hand.

"You're hands are so soft and small. It's so cute. I love it." He slurs, but inspects her hands as if he was a detective.

"They fit right in yours don't they?" Y/N smiles.

"Yeah. -I wanna call Maxi." He jumps from subject to subject.

Lifeguarding- dogs, food- candles, Australian thongs- American thongs. Y/N's smile- Y/N's hair. It just goes on and on until she finally is able to get him in the car to take him home.

"Can I call him now?" Y/N nods and gives Harrison her phone so he can find Maxi's contact, so when he does he puts the phone to his ear, but doesn't realize Y/N's phone is connected to the Bluetooth in the car, so Maxi's voice isn't coming from the phone.

"Hey Y/N, what's up?" Maxi answers.

"Maxi, mate it is me, Hutz."

"Oh hey bud, how are you? How'd your surgery go?"

"Good, good." Harrison says. "Maxi, Y/N is so beautiful and nice. She's so good to me. I have puffy cheeks and she isn't making fun of me." Harrison says.

"She is mate. She's a great girl."

"Yeah, I just love her so much man. She's perfect. Like she could blow up my car and I wouldn't get mad."

"Heart eyes huh?" Maxi chuckles.

"Yes- Oh my god, her eyes are so pretty. I love them so much. I could stare at them all day."

He keeps going on and on, all the way home, but Y/N doesn't say anything, she just tries to keep a straight face. So when she gets Harrison's gauze changed and gets him back into comfy clothes he passes out in bed, while she makes him supper, and cleans the house.

"Hey Maxi." She hears Harrison say. "I'm good. Yeah, Y/N's been taking care of me.- I did what?- Oh my god.- Yeah I do.- Alright mate. I'll see you tomorrow, bye." He hangs up and groans. So, Y/N takes that as her cue to enter.

"How're you feeling babe?" She sits beside him.

"Better." Harrison answers with his arms over his face.

"Who was that?" She asks.

"Maxi." He breathes. "He said I called him earlier from your phone while you were driving and told me everything I said."

"Yeah, it was cute. You didn't even know I could hear you even though I was right beside you." Y/N laughs. "You're very endearing when you're drugged up."

"Hey!" Harrison exclaims and sits up. "I'm endearing all of the time."

Bluebottles [Trent ‘Maxi’ Maxwell]

Description: Y/N saves a babies life and hurts herself doing so. Maxi takes care of her.

Warnings: CPR, near drowning, bluebottles.

Y/N was standing by Jesse in front of Backpackers Rip while they helped a mother look for her teenage son. She'd been trying to keep an eye on the water, but the woman was screaming and causing a whole mess.

"Ma'am, calm down, we will find him." Jesse tries to calm her down, but she continues screaming. Y/N scans the water for the boy again when her eyes land on a woman struggling in the rip. She rips her black pullover off and grabs the rescue board. Just as she does that, Deano radios from the tower.

"Bondi Central to Blue Rhino, you've got a woman in backpackers with what looks to be a baby. She's about ready to go under."

"Jesse call for backup!" She yells as she runs towards the water. The baby is her first priority. As she quickly paddles out she tries to avoid the floating bluebottles. She reaches the screaming mother and she grabs onto the board. "Where's the baby?!"

"Water!" The woman screams.

Y/N immediately jumps into the water and swims to the baby girl. When she reaches the baby her eyes are closed. She pulls her into her arms and looks up. A swarm of bluebottles has floated in by her board, and she can't avoid them, so she wraps herself around the baby and goes through them. When she breaks the surface she sees Maxi with the mother on his board. She puts the baby on her board and gets on herself. She ignores Maxi's concerned questions and catches a wave in. She drags the baby in with the board and she immediately starts CPR. Harries runs up with a bag and Jesse slides in beside them.

"Y/N you've got stingers all over you." Jesse points out.

"I'm fine." She brushes him off and keeps going.

Maxi brings the mother to shore and makes sure she's okay before rushing over to the group. Y/N absolutely refused to let anyone switch her, even though her body was covered in stings.

After four sets of sixty compressions and eight breaths the baby has a pulse, is responsive and crying. Right in time for the ambulance to arrive.

"Call the police." Y/N says as she stands up. "That was pure child endangerment."

She starts walking to the tower and about halfway up the adrenaline wears off and she's about to drop. Maxi had followed her on the quad and grabs her before she can. He wraps her pullover around her and sits her in front of him, then speeds up to the tower. Once they get up the stairs Maxi immediately grabs a pair of gloves to pick the stingers off of her.

Y/N starts brushing the ones on her chest off as she grits her teeth.

"Let me help." Maxi says as he starts picking the stingers from her neck and back.

"Who the hell brings a six month old baby into deep water, let alone a rip?!" Y/N rants as she continues brushing off stingers aggressively.

"I don't know sweetheart, but the baby is alright. That's all that matters. Now we're worried about you."

"I'll be fine." She groans. "I just need to shower."

"You're covered in bluebottle stings, you're going to hurt for a bit." Deano says as he turns around from dealing with another rescue. "You did amazing Bug." He compliments. "But you're going to start hurting, so Maxi, help her in the showers please." Maxi nods and follows her. Y/N sits on the cold tiles in the shower, not being able to stand because of the pain.

"God, this sucks." She groans.

"I know." Maxi says. He turns the water onto the hot setting and sits next to Y/N on the floor. As she sits there, hunched over in pain as the toxins reach her glands, Maxi takes one of her hair ties and puts her hair in a top knot. "Do you want to sit up?" He asks her. She shakes her head no Maxi scoots closer. "Sweetheart, your neck and back are going to hurt if you stay like that." She doesn’t reply, so, he changes his tactics. "Do you want to sit in my lap?"

She looks up.

"Can I?" Her voice has gotten much quieter.

"Anything for you." Maxi replies.

Y/N has always said that skin to skin contact, or even just being close to another person helps comfort some people, and she was one of them. So, she quickly sits on Maxi's left thigh and brings her legs closer to her chest so her feet are on the other side of them, and head lays on his shoulder. Maxi has an arm around her and a hand on the back of her head.

After they've situated themselves, they sit there in silence while the hot water streams over both of them.

Unfortunately, Maxi was called out for a mass rescue and Y/N was still in a great amount of pain.

Deano had suggested giving her the Green Whistle and sending her to the hospital, but she refused and is now curled up in the corner of the tower. Taco had almost stepped on her, because she’d covered herself in her jackets.

Eventually Jesse, and Maxi come back into the tower and Maxi goes back towards the shower to see if she was still there, and he was confused when he’d seen a empty room.

"Where’d Bug go?" Maxi asks Deano. Deano, turns and points at her.

Jesse laughs when he looks over. Maxi wants to, but he doesn’t. Covered in her black jacket and blue pullover, Y/N had pulled the hood over her head, trying to wish away the sensation in peace. She looked like a box.

"I offered the Green Whistle, but she refused."

"Y/N you know being in pain for this long from a bluebottle sting isn’t normal." Jesse says.

"Give me like thirty minutes and I’ll be good to go."

"You said that an hour ago." Maxi says, and sits in the chair next to her spot on the floor.

"At least now I can talk." She points out.

"Alright Bug, whatever you say."

Finally, three hours left on her shift and the pain has gone away. Now Y/N is patrolling North Bondi with Maxi.

"Thanks for helping me earlier, I appreciate it." Y/N says as they scan the water.

"You’re welcome, but you know I’d do anything for you." Maxi replies.

"And I’d do anything for you."

Maxi stops scanning the water and thinks.

Perfect segway.

"You wanna do something for me?" He asks, and sets his radio on the seat.

"Anything." Y/N nods.

"Go on a date with me tomorrow."

Description: Theo and Y/N get into an argument, and Y/N crashes.

Warnings: Car crash, mentions of blood, probably curse words.

Y/N's hair was pulled back in a sloppy ponytail, little baby hairs were flying around her face as the wind blew through her car. She was on a open road with no traffic, not paying attention to the speedometer as she drove. She and her boyfriend of two years, Theo had gotten into a fight. They don't normally fight, but when they did it was bad. By the end they both had raw throats and tears rolling down their face. Y/N always left before they could argue again. She wasn't leaving Theo, and he knew that, she was giving them time to calm down.

When she goes on drives she doesn't think about Theo, the argument or their relationship. She thought about her family, the beach, anything but him; but today that wasn't working. They had gotten into it because Theo about got himself killed protecting Scott. Y/N loved Scott like he was her brother, but after what he put Theo through the guy would still risk his life for the alpha and it made her mad.

Y/N gets pulled out of her trance by a approaching curve, once she gets back on straight road she turns the radio up and tries to keep herself aware of her surroundings.

Theo had sat and cradled his head in his hands. He hated fighting with Y/N, because he loves her. Sure he had little flings before but Y/N is different. She's the one. He never treated any other person the way he treats Y/N. At night when they get ready for bed he always waits until she's in his arms to even think about closing his eyes. He cares about her more than anything in the world. He needs her.

Theo had gotten a feeling in his gut. It was telling him that something was wrong, and he needed to go after Y/N. So, he did.

Y/N's phone had died, so she unplugged it from the aux cord and tossed it in the passenger seat. Deep in the woods of Beacon County Y/N didn't get any cell service, or any channels on the radio. She needed sound, so she started talking. About Theo, The Pack, and everything that was going on in Beacon Hills. Every so often she would wipe under her eye, she didn't want to cry. What she wanted was to go home and see her boyfriend.

Y/N couldn't see the truck coming from the side road until it was too late. The truck had  T-Boned her and sent her car rolling. She landed in the ditch upside down, unconscious and bloody.

Theo knew where Y/N went each time they had a fight. It was a cabin at a lake that her family owns. Theo had been there with her multiple times. It didn't take him long to get close. After the curve you drive straight another ten miles.

His windows were rolled down so when he caught the scent of blood he slowed the truck down and started searching for the source.

Once it got really strong Theo saw the tire marks and pieces of car scattered across the road. He parked and got out. He followed the marks to the ditch and what he saw would scar him for life.

"Y/N!" Theo yelled as he rushed to the drivers side window.

Y/N had gained consciousness and heard Theo's voice.

"Th-Theo!" Her voice strained as she tried to catch his attention.

"Y/N, baby, are you ok?!" Theo got down to where he could see her and he wished he hadn't.

Y/N had blood, profusely dripping off her head and from around her legs.

"It hurts," she swallowed before she started again. "Everything hurts."

Theo was speechless. He didn't know what to say.

Hell, how would anyone know what to say?

"I'm going to call for help ok? Just keep talking!"

"I cant."

Lifeguard [Ethan Dolan]

Description: Ethan keeps running into a beautiful lifeguard at the beach. 

Warnings: Dislocated knee. I think that is it?

Their encounters had started months before. He was a surfer who liked to get himself into tricky spots, and she was a lifeguard just doing her job.

The first time they met was when he got smashed in big surf. He'd resurfaced and grabbed onto his board, but didn't get on, so she paddled out to check on him, fearing he might've suffered a concussion or a spinal injury.

"Are you ok?" She asks once she stops paddling and sits on the rescue board.

"Yep, just sucking up my pride, or what's left of it." He lightly chuckles and jumps up on the board.

"You sure? No pain in your head, neck or back? You were smashed pretty hard." She questions, but also hints that she'd seen him wipe out.

"Yeah, I'm all good. Thanks though." She nods and then turns to catch a wave back in. He watches her as she turns to go over to a swimmer holding onto a boogie board. She gets the boy on the board and gets the boogie board secured before taking them both back into shore.

This happened three more times over the course of two weeks.

The next time they met was again, in the water. This time she'd just gotten off duty and was heading back to the tower, but then her radio goes off, her coworker telling her there's been a incident in the water, and she needed to book it out there. She grabs a board and runs in. She quickly makes it out there to see the same guy she'd paddled out to multiple times a few weeks earlier, holding up a guy with a dislocated knee.

"Dislocated your knee?" She asks. The man nods with a grimace on his face. "Alright, could you give me a hand getting him up on my board?" She asks the man. He nods and she jumps into the water. "Get him on his side and then we'll roll him." They get the man on his side and place the board behind him. She supports his leg and the other man rolls the board so it's sitting normally. "Thank you for your help."

"I'm coming with you. He's with me."

"Alright. If you see a big set warn me!" Then she turns to the man on her board. "I'll try not to get a big wave so it doesn't toss you around." The man nods. Once they get in they help the man up and over to the ATV. "We've got an ambulance on the way. How's the pain?"

"A four or five probably."

"Don't act tough Jake, you know it's hurts like a bitch." The other man laughs.

"Shut the fuck up Ethan." Jake groans. She laughs and gets a splint.

"Alright, I'll put this on so you can't move your leg around and I'll drive you up to the tower."

After sending his friend off, Ethan walks back over to her.

"So this is the fifth time I've met you, and I still don't know your name."

"Yep." She nods.

"So, you gonna tell me your name or do I have to do my research?" Ethan jokes.

"Y/N." She answers.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Ethan smiles and winks at her.

She was going to reply with a sarcastic comment, but got called away for another first aid on the board walk.

They ran into each other two days after. But this time not at the beach. In the gym.

Y/N was training for the upcoming lifeguard challenge and would continue through recruitments, so she was halfway through her two mile run when a familiar face jumped onto the treadmill beside her.

"Didn't know lifeguards liked running." Ethan says as he turns the treadmill on.

Y/N looks over at him. "We do, we just like the water better."

"Are you training for something? I've never seen you here before." He points out as he starts jogging.

"Annual lifeguard challenge. I've got a meal for two at Cheesecake Factory on the line, so I have to at least beat Quinn, but winning the whole thing would be great too."

"Meal for two? Who are you taking out?"

"Either my little brother, or I'm pigging out." She answers, and Ethan just laughs.

It'd been a month since Y/N and Ethan had seen each other. She'd won the Cheesecake Factory bet and gotten second place in the Lifeguard challenge. She'd also finished the yearly fitness assessment for already hired lifeguards with flying colors, and the recruitments were the week before.

The head lifeguard had informed her that she was getting a new trainee, the other lifeguards love getting newbies to pick on, but she loves teaching people. Teaching them about rips, different rescue techniques, just the basics. So when she heard the knock on the door lifeguards use, she jumped out of her seat. She opened the door to see her boss and he smiles.

"Hey, your trainee is changing, he will be over in a minute." Y/N nods and stands outside with him.

After a few minutes of talking her boss says her trainee is walking over. She turns around and sees him.

Of course.

"Ethan, this is one of my senior lifeguards, Y/N. She will be showing you around this week."

"Hi." Ethan smirks.

"Hi." Y/N replies.

Her boss looks between the two and holds back a laugh.

Ethan's definitely got a crush on her.

And Y/N is definitely oblivious to it.

"Have you two met before?" Her boss asks.

"Yeah, we've bumped into each other a couple of times." Y/N replies.

"Alright, well I am going to leave you here with her." He says to Ethan. "Just don't piss her off and you'll be perfectly fine." Then he walks away and Ethan turns to Y/N.

"Why shouldn't I piss you off?"

"One, I'm your boss. Two, my sister is a boxer. I've got a nasty right hook."

"Noted." Ethan nods. Y/N laughs and opens the door.

"I'll introduce you to the team. We all work the same shift, unless someone calls in sick, so you'll have to deal with us for the rest of your time here." He follows her into the medical bay and up the stairs to the lookout. "Ethan, this is Quinn and Max. Quinn, Max this is our new trainee, Ethan."

The lifeguards introduce themselves and ask Ethan about himself, but eventually they need to get back to work. Y/N takes him down to one of the ATV's sitting down in front of the tower, and shows him how to drive it, how to use the megaphone, and the lights and sirens. She drives him down to the shore and introduces him to everyone else before she starts going over protocols with him.

By the end of the day, Ethan has performed one rescue and helped with two first aids, all by Y/N's side. Now at pack up time Y/N lets Ethan back the ATV in.

"You know, when I first met you I thought you were just a beautiful lifeguard, but you run this place so smoothly. I'm impressed." He compliments.

"Thanks. When I first met you I thought you were just a sucky surfer."

"Yeah, that was a pretty nasty wipeout, wasn't it?" Ethan laughs.

"Nasty? More like horrific."

Fireflies [Scott McCall]

Description: Scott and Y/N fight off Boyd and Cora while they are under the influence of the full moon.

Warnings: I don't there are any for once. 

"Y/N! Look out!" Scott yells as he fights off Boyd. Y/N turns to the side and sees Cora approaching quickly. She flicks out her claws and growls, challenging the rogue wolf. Cora immediately replies by lunging at her sister. If Cora was occupied trying to rip her sisters throat out, that meant she wasn't killing an innocent person.

Y/N grabs Cora's arm, twists it backwards and breaks it, knowing it won't heal until Cora stops and sets it. She howls out in pain and immediately recovers. She uses her other arm to claw Y/N's legs, making her wobble for a split second before tackling her sister to the ground. Y/N grabs Cora's arms, trying to pin her down.

"Cora, stop! I know you don't want to do this!" Y/N's voice is almost demonic as she has fully shifted to keep Cora somewhat under control and to boost her strength. Cora's eyes flicker to brown before turning yellow again. Y/N let her guard down, also shifting her eyes back from their bright blue, but just as she did that, Cora started up again.

Y/N gets thrown to the ground and is jumped on by her sister. Cora starts slashing at her upper body. Y/N lets a deep growl out before forcefully pushing Cora off of her and onto the ground.

Scott had been watching Y/N and Cora while he was with Isaac and Derek fighting off Boyd. He knew Cora was just as angry as Boyd and Y/N was by herself. Y/N jumped up off the ground and Scott saw the deep wounds healing through the rips in her shirt. Cora jumps on her sister again, this time biting her shoulder. Y/N struggles to get her off. Scott runs over, grabs Cora by the back of the neck and throws her into a tree.

Boyd and Cora end up running off and the four werewolves stand by each other.

"What were you thinking, taking her on by yourself?!" Scott exclaims.

"I was stopping her from doing something she'd regret." Y/N flashes her blue eyes towards him.

"She could've killed you." Isaac states.

"Are you two that dense that I have to explain what I was doing?! I kept her from killing an innocent person!"

Although Derek didn't want yet another of his sisters to be dead, he knew Y/N was trying to protect Cora.

"She was about to rip your throat out!"

"I don't need you to tell me what she was about to do." Y/N turns around and starts walking in the opposite direction. "I can take care of myself just fine."

And as Y/N walked away a bright firefly landed on her shoulder.
