when i say i wish people started using the reblog button more i don't mean it in a 'i want more notes' kind of way i mean it in a 'i want to read about your thoughts on this particular thing' and 'i want to have conversations in the tags' and 'i want this to feel like a community again and not like any of those boring social media platforms where artists are content creators and interactions never goes beyond a like'

new fic, but...?

ok, so, I have a fanfiction idea. Yes, I'll still write Written In my Pages (mainly because there's a few more chapters until it's over and I'll need to write a second fic to the series. keep an eye out for that btw)

But I want to do a side project--something that dosen't have strict lore like Written in my Pages does.

So, I present to you, the idea:

[[TW FOR DEATH/VIOLENCE]]

" The recent murders of Yokohama were cruel. Bodies strewn across power lines, or hidden in leaves, or in alley ways. Sometimes there were even bodies of victims found in a house that wasn't theirs. So, Chuuya and Dazai, both Detectives for the Yokohama Detective Agency, need to solve this latest case, and find out who's the one brutally killing these people. But when push comes to shove, secrets are untraveled about both Detectives and especially who they're after. Chuuya finds out really early on who the murderer is. But will he tell everyone else on the Detective team, or will he keep his secrets and obsess? "

I'm not sure. the bare-bones outline sounds pretty dumb but I just really want to write something about Chuuya being a detective with Dazai. Let me know in the notes/reposts/comments what you guys think.

MOTIVIATION!!!!

Motivation is the biggest thing ever you need when writing! Usually, to stay motivated, I personally listen to music (the ULTAKILL OST is great to motivate you for fighting scenes...ultrakill my beloved) --but I know that taking a walk or reading something can always get you thinking. For this entire time I've been writing Written in my Pages, I've been reading the "A Good Girl's Guide To Murder" series to keep me motivated!

Taking breaks :D

sometimes you just need to take a break and come back later. For example, scrolling Tumblr/TikTok/any social media, can sometimes turn your brain to icky mush. So, take a break! overworking yourself sucks so sometimes it's best to take a break.

uuuh shit what else

If this helps at all, I personally write in Google keep (which has a word count limit, so often I have to switch to A03 directly 😭) and somehow that keeps me writing. I always have the tab open and usually when I go on really long rides (for example, a few days ago, I went on a 10+ hour trip) I write.

I literally write every given hour I can in my usual day it genuinely might be an issue at this point. anyway yeah I hope that this post helps at least a few people 😭 always write with an open mind. mistakes are okay; and always remember that even if other people don't like your writing, that's okay!!

also a side rant to say that something huge is seriously coming up in the two recent chapters (19, 20. . .maybe more chapters, too-) and the chapters are more longer than my other ones I've written so far.
