In Which College is Not That Bad Yet

it's funny because almost all of orientation consists of "It's okay, when you're dying and overwhelmed and failing, and we do mean when and not if, there are places to go to try to help you crawl out of your miserable panic!"

A Day That I Had That Was Moderately Pleasant

imma do that thing where I write down shit that makes me happy so I can remember it later. I mean it's not like today was the best but MIT is just really really hard and it's good to have good things sometimes.

so today I walked to Boston Commons listening to The Lion King on Broadway by myself and that was cool and then we played frisbee in the park and that was cool and on the way back we sat with the Make Way for Ducklings ducklings because fuck you that's what you do and now I can name them all and then I walked back with this girl who is fucking awesome but also super sincere and talked about how sometimes things suck but that's okay and then we found puttputt and took balloons from a small child and then I came home and found sk letters had been put on my door and they're cool and then I worked lots and it was great because now I only have 2/3 of one pset left for the week but holy shit midterms this week and then we went and got froyo and then learned more calculus and then watched the newsroom and snl with people and I know how to punch people now and now I'm going to bed
