FAQ and Rules
What sort of content can I create for this event?
You can create whatever you want (fic, art, edits, etc). Any fandom is allowed, as well as OC stuff. NSFW is allowed, but please tag your content accordingly! The only thing not allowed is AI-generated content.
Do I need to make 31 things to participate?
Oh heavens no! You can make as much or as little content as you like, skip days when desired, or combine prompts (so for example, write something that covers a prompt from day 1, 2, AND 3). You don't have to do the days in order either, go wild! To be considered a 'completionist', you only have to make sure that at the end of the month, you've covered 31 prompts from 31 different days, but whether you do that in 31 works or just 1 is up to you.
What are these alts about?
If none of the three prompts of a particular day are your cup of tea, you can swap them out for an alt prompt of your choice.
What are these themes about?
Just a little bit of extra fun for the mods. Like last year, we'll be handing out various badges for people participating in the event. A full list will be posted later (and linked here once that happens), but perhaps there will be a special badge or two for people who can't be completionists but who do manage to finish every single day of a specific theme ;)

Summary: The iron triangle Wu Xie, Pang Zi and Zhang Qiling restart their adventure after receiving an unusual text from Wu Sansheng. After trading their adventures for a normal life, a text from Wu Sansheng drives them to embark on a mysterious journey for the sake of family and friendship. Final Thoughts
I, for one, absolutely love the Daomu Biji series and this particular adaptation is filled with amazing whump. Liu Sang has become a comfort character of mine and his whump scenes are just *chef’s kiss*. I also absolutely adore Hei Xiazi, and in this adaptation, Baron Chen really makes him such a masculine, sexy and rugged character, he’s just so fun to whump. I also want to add that there are some absolutely fantastic whumpy fics for Liu Sang on archiveofourown which are 100% worth checking out. I’ve become really attached to Liu Sang with his sarcastic, witty and darn right cynical nature, and watching him form attachments and friendships with people, having people be concerned for him with the lonely life that he originally led, leads for some amazing hurt/comfort scenes, both physically and emotionally. As you can tell I have a bias for him and I will be following Liu Chang’s, Liu Sang’s actor, works to see more of him.

These scenes are from Meloholic (2017). It isn't the greatest drama, and there isn't a lot of whump, but then we get this little gem at the end of the series.
The series itself is about Yoo Eun-Ho who can read the minds of women by placing touching hands. This has made it difficult for him to date when people's thoughts, and what they say, don't align. He ends up meeting and falling in love with Ye-Ri and soon realizes that there are two people inside her mind.
It is overflowing with clichés and, as a whole, isn't that great of a drama and there's not much whump. That being said these clips in the last two episodes are worth a glance!
One of my favorite go-to series!

Synopsis: High school student Kindaichi Hajime solves a variety of difficult cases that he gets entangled in with the deductive powers inherited from his grandfather, the famous detective Kindaichi Kosuke.

Note: There's apparently like so many iterations of the adaptation of the manga, but I only watched the one with my boy Yamada Ryosuke, so I don't know what happens in the other adaptations.
Little side note for the movies, if you're watching the second movie (about the puppeteer guy) warning for slight arachnophobia and insectophobia: at about 16:28–16:41(a scorpio and a tarantula) + at ~28:10 (a centipede for a couple of seconds)

Alrighty!
Hello whump friends! I'm wellitssomething, and I have been in the community for quite some time. I have had a separate page that I have been using and, at this point, is going to drive me absolutely crazy. I have lost so many whump posts I've wanted to revisit, only to have them vanish in a sea of likes, posts, and other whatnots.
So, I've finally created my own whump page, where I can repost and interact to my hearts content! Hooray! I know that I'll be reposting a lot, but I'm also hoping to start posting my own lists/gifs at some point. (This is a very optimistic viewpoint that I'm really hoping to keep.)
I watch mostly Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thai series but also enjoy Filipino, Cambodian and Vietnamese series as well! I do have other series I've enjoyed in the past, but don't venture out of Asian series very often anymore.
I'm excited to be able to get to know you all better, and look forward to all the wonderful content we'll get to see in the future! (And hopefully I'll finally stop losing all of the wonderful posts I really wanted to keep!)
Also! I do tend to lean more towards the kidnapping, hostage, being held at gunpoint/knifepoint, tied/gagged, etc type whump, so a lot of my content may focus more on those things, just a heads up!
