Dolmen Of The Loge-au-Loup,Trdion, France: The Dolmen Of Loge-au-Loup (or Loge-aux-Loups) Is A Megalith

Dolmen of the Loge-au-Loup, Trédion, France: The dolmen of Loge-au-Loup (or Loge-aux-Loups) is a megalith located in the commune of Trédion, in Morbihan, at a place called Coëtby, in an area very rich in megalithic sites. Despite its usual name, it is more of a covered alley than a classic dolmen. It is believed to have been erected more than 4,500 years ago. The dolmen of the Loge-au-Loup is unusual in that its arched alley is composed of two rows of supporting stones inclined inwards. This peculiarity has given rise to several interpretations, but it seems to be a deliberate architectural technique, more recent than that of corridor dolmen. Wikipedia
