Just finished the quarry

Only managed to keep Abigail, Nick, Jacob, Laura and Ryan alive

Got Kaitlyn and Dylan killed at the very end of act 10, literally the very final decision I could’ve made to get them killed, and it was because I misread the choice

Got Max killed because I decided to swim to the mainland, even though I knew full well for the past 10 chapters there was a werewolf there waiting for him

Got Emma killed in act 4 because I was an idiot and got nosey

10/10 game, I’m going to go and cry in a bathtub because *Holy Shit* do you get attached to those characters, only to get them killed because you didn’t pick up a fucking teddy in chapter one (actual thing that happens, if you miss the teddy then you condemn Kaitlyn and Dylan to death), but this game is my life for the next 4 months until I find something else to latch onto and make my whole personality

If that podcast had a transcript you could read instead of acc having to listen to it it’d be awesome, but like it’s 10 minutes long and it Js gets dull

the quarry got me actively avoiding evidence so I can listen to as little of that podcast as possible

Thinking Abt how underdeveloped Nick was in the quarry

Like they clearly establish him and Abi have a thing and they like each other, he tries kissing her, gets rejected once and then goes and (for no reason at all apparently??) sticks his tongue straight down Emma’s throat right in front of her.

Like what?? Then he goes and apologises to abi, they kiss once, he gets infected and the rest of his story is about him being progressively more protective/creepy about her as the infection gets worse which is the exact opposite of how he’s set up at the start of the game as the sort of shy socially awkward boy who lives in Dylan’s shadow a bit

And they end his arc with him trying to kill her? That bit I sort of get but like, why end it there? And literally no one seems to care, the most ever said about it is when Kaitlyn goes “I don’t think dead people jump out windows” to Abi after she shoots him.

I love the quarry but like come on, he’s such a cool character and I feel like he gets brushed over and stripped to an obsessive weirdo/minor antagonist of a character instead of getting any actual development like Dylan or Ryan.

He deserves better🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Yesss I feel like they needed a moment of reunion before that, because the cut from that end scene to the epilogue was too sharp.

They needed a moment they could meet up, which maybe could’ve paralleled the moment they split off during truth or dare?

Idk but I wish we got more instead of js a cut to the epilogue which (if you completely forgot about looking for evidence like me) just tells you they were all arrested
