Cult Leader Villain!Deku - The Heretic in the House of Heroes pt. 1

Bakugou Katsuki, was having what some might call a bad couple of days, actually fuck that Bakugou Katsuki was having what some would call a shitty week from hell.

Starting off with the sports festival. The sports festival that he should have won, god dammit!  Instead he placed fucking third, behind eyebags, and that creepy fucking IcyHot bastard, who had the gall to then accept his first place medal with some creepy fucking speech about his creepy fucking religion and how much he wanted to thank his creepy fucking cult leader for teaching him about some dumb fucking cult shit. Katsuki had had the weekend to rage about the sports festival loss in the semi privacy of his own home, getting into screaming matches with his old hag, and blowing a hole the size of a bowling ball into the tree in the backyard. He wasn’t over it in the slightest, but he had come to school on Monday ready to work harder and better than everyone else - so when the time for the rematch between him and IcyHot finally came, it wouldn’t just be his parent’s elm tree with a bowling ball sized hole in it.

But when he finally arrived to class, he was extremely displeased to note that the desk behind him, the desk that had sat empty since that forgettable extra had been axed by Aizawa on the first day, had been filled by that Eyebags extra from Gen-Ed.

Fucking incredible, this Lavendar Scarecrow got a couple lucky wins in the sports festival, and ended up placing higher than Katsuki by mere chance, and the school offers him the empty seat as though he had actually done anything worthy of the promotion. And what’s worse, he was being crowded by Round Face. 

Katsuki didn’t really have any problems with Round Face beyond her being IcyHot’s little cult lackey, sister-wife or whatever the hell they were. Sure, she was hardly frail and she had put up a decent fight during their match at the Festival, but they had never interacted much beyond that. So, imagine Katsuki’s surprise when she suddenly stopped her little cult spiel to Eyebags (who, for some god forsaken reason looked like he was actually interested in what she was saying) to level Katsuki with the most disgusted look he had ever fucking recieved. She looked at him the same way one might look at the bottom of their shoe after they had stepped in the world's smelliest dog shit. And Katsuki did not take kindly to that shit in the slightest.

“You gotta problem with me Round Face?! Huh!?” He sneered slamming his books down and leaning menacingly into her space.

She stared unblinkingly back at him, not even flinching, before looking him up and down and huffing derisively at him before turning back to Eyebags. Completely ignoring Katsuki.

“Anyway Hitoshi, if you're interested in visiting the center at any point just let me and Shoto know. We want to make sure that you have access to the resources we were discussing, and we will totally take you with us on our way to the center after school sometime. We can even do it today if you want, just let us know before lunch.” She slid him a creepy little cult flyer and flashed him a creepy fucking smile that made her creepy round cheeks look even creepier and rounder than usual. 

She turned and leveled Katsuki with one more disgusted look, before moving toward her own seat, shoulder checking him on her way by.

What. The. Fuck. Was. That?  

If it weren’t for Aizawa-Sensei coming in and calling for them to settle down - grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It’s fine, she’s nothing, she’s just a pebble on Katsuki’s path to greatness.

At first, Katsuki was able to forget about it, ignore it even, as Aizawa started to explain the upcoming internships and how they were supposed to choose from the list of bidders that were interested in them based on their sports festival performances, blah blah blah. But then it was time to come up with their hero names. 

Katsuki, for all that he was the best at everything, had to admit he didn't have many ideas for a hero name. When he went up to present the name "King Explosion Murder" he wasn't exactly expecting Midnight to let him use it. That doesn't mean he was happy with the criticism, especially when Round Cheeks coughed some sort of insult under her breath right afterwards.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY, ROUND FACE?!"

As he glared menacingly at her, hands popping with the threat of his quirk, he heard another coughed insult from the other side of the room.

"Heretic," - from the one person he absolutely would not tolerate this from.

"ICY-HOT!" Katsuki screamed, preparing to launch himself across the classroom, only to be met with the tight bindings of Aizawa's scarf and the sudden absence of Explosion.

"Bakugou! Let it go! Uraraka, Todoroki, I don't know what your issue with Bakugou is, but it stays out of this classroom, got it?" Aizawa turned to level the two with a serious look once Bakugou had stopped struggling against him to seethe silently.

Todoroki turned his head away in displeasure as Uraraka clicked her teeth. Both sitting in tense silence before they each ground out a reluctant "Yes, sensei."
