FOLKS I’mma just keep it real and say that, as a Bioshock fan who enjoys Jack/Atlas as a ship, I don’t need/want anyone coming at me for how that’s “problematic” 😩 For awhile now in the fandom on Tumblr I’ve seen that kind of thing make its rounds, and I’m not at all interested in explaining myself.

“Yeah but their relationship is toxic–” NO SHIT LMAO!!!!! You think that’s not part of what makes them interesting? You think I’m not able to use critical thinking and understand that such a relationship is bad in real life?

This is all to say that if you don’t enjoy the ship yourself, that’s fine!! I’m not asking you to. I’m just tired of seeing fanartists making great content and then getting bodied by a bunch of “ew yuck” or “oh no you REALLY ship Jatlas??? :(” messages. People shouldn’t be guilting others into no longer enjoying things they find neat or creatively inspiring or, God forbid, sexy. Block the tag, leave people alone.

You may not see it, but I added vampire teeth for Jack. Yes, in this render Jack is a vampire and Atlas can only succumb to him than defend himself ^_^

Recently, as well as now, I've been thinking about Jatlas. And I think I still can't get enough of this ship.

It was one of my first and old ships. I have a lot of ideas for them, especially since I recently remembered about Bioshock.

It doesn't matter who says what, I still love this ship and I won't change my mind!
