Dokja is mothering
Sometimes family is you, your coworker, 3 kids you grabbed from the side of the road, a bartender, an ex soldier, a plagiarist, a guy that wants you dead, his sister, ex girlfriend, and two stupid teens that follow him around, your landlord, your ex boss and his daughter, a fujoshi angel, a monkey, a dragon, a coorporate slave, and your daughter.

Itâs wonderfully warm.
Thatâs what you think when you begin to stir, eyes blinking open blearily as soft rays of sunlight pour into the room, having snuck through the gaps in the curtains. A yawn escapes you and you squirm under the blankets, pressing your face back into the warmth of Sylusâ chest.
His arms tighten around you and a smile tugs at your lips, legs tangling with his.
âMorning,â he rasps, his voice deeper than usual, laced with the remnants of sleep.
âMorning,â you whisper back, lips pressing against his chest in a soft kiss.
Sylus cups the back of your head, his large hand stroking over your hair gently and you sigh, letting your eyes slip back shut.
Heâd stopped by last night, said he had some information about a group of abnormally acting Wanderers. One thing had led to another however, and youâd let him stay the night, his body pressed up against yours.Â
âStay,â he grumbles when he feels you try to pull away, his face burying into your hair.
âI have work,â you murmur back, twisting your head to glance at the clock beside your bed.Â
The glowing numbers tell you that youâve slept in, and you groan, slumping back down as you realize you were most definitely going to be late.
âCall in sick,â Sylus replies, his hands squeezing at your waist.
You want to deny him, but Sylus knows you better than you know yourself. You can never find it in yourself to truly resist him, not when he pets across your body so soothingly anyways. You just hope it doesnât turn into a repetitive occurrence, itâs not like you can keep missing work whenever you feel like being wrapped up in his arms to make out with him lazily.
Reaching for your phone, you write out a quick text, sending it to Jenna to tell her youâd come down with a sudden fever. You can feel Sylusâ lips on your forehead beginning to drift and you tilt your head, letting him land a kiss to your cheek as he caresses your hip.
âYouâre a bad influence,â you whisper, feeling his hand creep up under his shirt that youâre wearing.
âMaybe so,â Sylus says, shooting you a smile.
You bite your lip when his thumb swipes the underside of your breast, his calloused fingers spreading across the skin of your breast before finding your nipple. His red eyes bore into yours and you donât let your gaze slip away, mouth opening to let a soft moan spill out as he tugs and pinches at your nipple.
âYou look so pretty like this, sweetie,â he whispers, his lips ghosting over yours.
Sylus doesnât kiss you and you donât make any move to kiss him either. Itâs what makes the push and pull between you and Sylus so rewarding, he riles you up and you rile him up until one of you snaps. Itâs what youâd done last night anyways, bent over the arm of the couch in a short skirt with your ass in the air, pink panties bared to his eyes as youâd grabbed the tv remote that you had accidentally dropped.Â
Too bad your panties hadnât survived the onslaught of his hungry mouth, his fingers getting impatient until heâd ripped the flimsy fabric off of you and fucked you right there in your skirt.Â
The feeling of his mouth on your neck draws you out of your thoughts, letting him play with your breasts as he trails hot kisses down your skin. Your arms loop around his neck, fingers splaying across his broad back. You can feel his muscles flex as he moves his arm, both of you panting softly as he gropes at the fat of your breasts.
âAsk for it, baby,â Sylus whispers, rolling the hardened nub between his fingers.
You shake your head, gritting your teeth when you feel him roll his hips against your side, the feeling of his half-hard cock making arousal pool between your thighs.
âNo,â you pant out, biting your lip as your back arches, âyou ask for it.â
Sylus lets out a low laugh, nosing against your cheek as he presses another kiss to your skin. âYou know Iâm not one to beg.â
âFirst time for everything,â you retort, pressing your breast into his warm palm firmly, fingers trailing down his bare chest.
A smile spreads across your face when his cheeks flush, your hand drifting lower and lower until your hand presses against the hot bulge of his cock through his thin pajama pants. Sylus groans at the feeling of your hand and you wrap it around his heavy length, now fully hardened.
âSo hard for me,â you coo, batting your eyelashes up at him as you drag your hand up and down. The hitch of his breath is welcome and has you feeling bolder, tongue licking across his sternum.
âDirty, little whore,â Sylus hisses, his fingers digging into your side as you hook your leg over his hip and press yourself closer. âAlways pushing me, arenât you?â
You grin, letting him roll his hips into your hand as you kiss across his chest, the sound of your lips on his skin emanating through the room. Sylus grabs at your ass, pulling you up so that you're settled on his lap, your knees bracketing his hips.
âLook good like this,â you murmur breathlessly, palming at his cock a little more.
The imprint of his cock is clear, pre-cum causing a dark spot to appear on the fabric. Your fingers trail over his length, eyes entranced as you watch it twitch under your touch. His fingers grasp at the shirt, pushing it up and feeding the fabric into your mouth. Half-lidded eyes stare down at him, the hem of the shirt bitten between your teeth.
âPretty baby,â Sylus whispers, his gaze trailing over your exposed breasts and stomach, down to where a pair of white panties sit snug on your hips. You hope he wonât rip them, but his fingers grasp at the material, pulling up and a sharp gasp leaves you, your panties digging into your cunt deliciously. âGreedy pussy, hm? Can feel you dripping all over my cock.â
You send him a glare, shirt falling back down to cover your body from his wandering eyes.
âYouâre annoying,â you say, crossing your arms over your chest.
Sylus only grins and tries to pull the shirt back up again, but you swat his hand away and stay seated on his lap stubbornly. He clicks his tongue, red eyes darkening at your challenge.Â
âStop being a brat,â he warns, fingers tapping against your thighs.
âOr what?â you reply, raising your brows. You give him an innocent look, letting your lower lip jut out into a pout.Â
âOr Iâll fuck you until you-â
You donât give him a chance to finish, crawling up his body. Sylusâ eyes widen for a moment, confusion flitting across his face until he realizes what youâre doing. Your clothed cunt settles onto his mouth and he groans, nosing at your panties to breathe you in.
âMuch better when you donât speak,â you sigh, running your fingers through his snowy hair.
Youâll have to pay for your boldness later, but you donât care, biting your lip as you roll your hips against his face. Sylus licks at you through your panties, his hands coming up to grab at your thighs and squeeze at the fat.
âJust like that,â you whisper, head tipping back as he sucks at your slick through the fabric of your panties.Â
Your hips roll and rock as you please, fingers gripping his hair. Sylus moves your panties to the side before long and you gasp, body doubling over as he licks across your bare cunt.
âOh- oh fuck!â you mewl, writhing atop his mouth when he thumbs apart your folds to spit on your pussy.
âThis is what you wanted, isnât it?â Sylus rasps, his fingers gripping your thighs a bit firmer to push you onto his mouth again.
His tongue glides through your folds a few times, flicks at your clit lazily and kisses the swollen little bud gently before he tugs your weight down onto his face fully. A loud squeal leaves you and you think youâve bitten off more than you can chew, seeing stars behind your eyelids as he eats you out hungrily.
âSy- Sylus!â His name sounds in a wail, and he simply grunts into your cunt, fingers dimpling into the fat of your ass as he slurps and sucks like a man starved.Â
The sounds of his mouth on your cunt are horribly lewd, and your fingers donât know where to latch onto, alternating between tugging on his hair and grasping at the rumpled sheets beside his head. Mindless chants escape you, wet pussy rubbing against his face unabashedly and across his tongue as he holds it there for you to grind against.
âFuck, fuck, fuck,â you whisper, your hand landing over his as he pushes the shirt up to grip one your tits.Â
He squeezes roughly and you moan, grabbing his wrist to guide his hand higher, closing your mouth around his fingers. You suck desperately, tongue swirling and eyes slipping shut as your hands curl around his wrist and forearm tightly. Sylus groans into your pussy again and your hazy eyes peer down to find his crimson ones staring right back at you.
A drunken smile spreads across your face and you lick at the pads of his fingers before kissing them. His eyes narrow and you moan when he spanks your ass at your display of blatant brattiness. It does little to deter you, mouth sucking his fingers in deeper until he spanks you again and sucks your clit into his mouth harshly.Â
You come with a cry, body shaking and thighs trembling. Sylus moves you off of him and you mumble out an apology for suffocating him, slumping against the bed as he pulls you into his chest and kisses your forehead.
Itâs a little too intimate for what you two are to each other, but youâre secretly grateful for the bits of affection he gives you. Sylus doesnât need to know that youâre starved of it, although you think he mightâve picked up on it with how clingy youâve become, insisting that it was okay for him to stay the night only a few weeks after you two had first slept together.Â
âThat was nice,â you slur softly, droopy eyes peering up into his.
Sylus huffs out a laugh, his hands petting at your sides. âIâm sure it was.â
Your slick glistens over his mouth and his chin and you sit up, tugging his shirt over your head and handing it to him. Sylus uses it to wipe his mouth and tosses it behind him, the fabric landing on the floor of your bedroom.
âThink I deserve a kiss for all that,â Sylus says, his nose nudging against yours.
You nod your assent, tits squished up against his firm chest as his lips meet yours. Sylus kisses you messily, tongue slipping into your mouth almost immediately so you can taste yourself on his tongue. A soft whine leaves you, returning his kisses with just as much fervor as you let your hand drift down, dipping into his pajama pants to grasp his hard cock.
His hips buck into your hand at the feeling and you smile against his lips, slowing the kiss to something more languid and lazy as you drag your hand up and down his throbbing cock.Â
âHand feels so fuckinâ good, babyâ Sylus sighs against your lips.
You hum, tilting your head to kiss his cheek and then his jaw. Pre-cum wets your hand, the slick noises of his cock filling the room as you stroke his cock for him. Sylus moans into your mouth, his hands unable to stop touching you as he grips the fat of your ass and then your hips.
ââm sensitive,â you whine when his hand slips between your thighs, the pads of his fingers rubbing over your clit.
âYou can take it,â he whispers back, kissing you again as he slips two fingers inside of you.
Youâre both panting again, meeting each otherâs kisses with the same passion. His cock throbs in your hand and Sylus lets out a low moan when you tighten your fingers around him and let your thumb brush over his leaky tip.
âHow cute,â you tease when you see the tips of his ears flush pink, his eyes half-lidded and chest rising and falling at an increasing pace as you twist your wrist and move your hand a little faster.
âYouâre going to regret this,â Sylus replies hoarsely, his face tucking into the crook of your neck as he fucks his cock into your hand.Â
A half-laugh, half-moan escapes you when he curls his fingers inside of you, quickening the pace of his fingers as he fucks them in and out of you. Your other hand joins the mix, cupping his heavy balls. Sylus lets out a strained moan, his hips thrusting harder into the heat of your hand as you play with his balls, massaging and caressing them.
Itâs a stark change from how he usually acts. Sylus is just as needy as you, despite being the leader of an illegal faction from within the N109 Zone. At least with each other, you both get to indulge in what you want. Itâs how you came to this agreement anyways, a little coaxing from Sylus and some carefully placed kisses later and you were agreeing almost immediately.Â
His fingers move faster, scissoring inside of you to draw out more whiny gasps from your throat, his thumb joining to rub at your swollen clit. A whimper breaks out of you, body shuddering as you cum on his fingers, your hands stuttering as you struggle to keep them moving through the haze of your orgasm.
Sylus lets out a growly moan, shoving his face deeper into the crook of your neck as he comes. You can feel his heavy breaths of air against your neck, the rise and fall of his chest when his cum coats your fingers and smears across his abdomen. Itâs hot and thick, and you whine, wanting him to kiss you again.
He lifts his head sluggishly, slots his lips over yours and kisses you until you canât breathe. You want to wrap your arms around his neck, but your hands are covered in his cum so you pout until he pulls your wrists out from where youâve begun to stroke him again slowly.
âAlways so cockhungry,â he tuts, guiding your fingers to your face.
You smile dazedly and make a show of licking your fingers clean. Sylus groans and leans forward to capture your lips in a kiss, his hips jerking slightly when you push your tongue into his mouth, feeding him his cum.
Sylus squeezes at your waist and you press yourself closer, letting out a contented hum. He smooths his hand up and down your back, rubbing soothingly circles into your skin.
âLetâs get you cleaned up, yeah?â he murmurs.
You nod, arms looping around his neck as he picks you up and carries you into the bathroom. Sylus sets you down onto the countertop of the vanity, his fingers tracing over your jaw for a moment before he reaches for your toothbrush. You watch him, sated and sleepy, mouth opening for him as he presses your toothbrush against your lips.Â
The action in and of itself speaks volumes for friends that are just fucking, but neither of you feel the need to address it. Your eyes slip shut as he brushes your teeth for you, his hand cupping your jaw to hold you in place. Sylus kisses your cheek, his thumb smoothing over the line of your jaw gently.
âRinse,â Sylus says, handing you a glass of water.
You do as he says, rinsing your mouth free of toothpaste and leaning forward to land a quick peck to his lips. Sylus grins, crimson eyes flashing with amusement as he watches you hop down onto the tiled floor with trembling thighs.
âDonât laugh!â you protest, swatting his chest.
âItâs cute,â he drawls, helping hold you steady as you reach down to pull your panties off. âYouâre always like this.â
An annoyed grumble leaves you as you step into the shower, eyes catching on the red welts running down his back, courtesy of your nails during the throes of pleasure last night.Â
You catch his eyes in the mirror, voice a little airy as you speak. âRed looks good on you.â
The shower door slides shut before he can respond, a small smile settling on your lips as you let your body loosen under the hot water. Sylus doesnât join you, and secretly youâre grateful. Youâd probably be tempted to have him take you under the spray of water, but your body is still sore from last night, thighs a little achy.Â
You finish up quickly, a yawn leaving you as your hands grab for the towel to wrap around your wet body. You step out of the shower, squeaking when you nearly collide with Sylusâ chest.Â
âRelax,â he mutters, gripping your chin and tilting your head up to kiss you.
You melt into it, lips working against his, feeling him back you up against the shower door.Â
âStop doing that,â you mumble against his lips, hands landing on his chest.
âYou like it when I kiss you,â Sylus replies, his forehead resting against yours.
You do. You really do. No oneâs ever kissed you like he has and youâve never had someone display such passion towards you. It makes you feel wanted, makes you feel cared for.Â
âGo shower,â you whisper, letting him kiss you one more time before youâre pushing at his chest gently, squirming out from under him.Â
Sylus grunts in dissatisfaction when you escape his grasp, running his hand through his hair as he watches you leave, that little towel wrapped around your body making him want to bend you over the vanity and fuck into you until youâre creaming on his cock again. He doesnât though, lets you go instead and steps under the shower himself.Â
Another yawn leaves you, your arms stretching above your head after you get dressed, pulling on a pair of comfortable sleep shorts and an oversized shirt. Sylus has finished up in the shower by the time youâve made coffee, his footfalls sounding through your apartment as he steps up behind you, his arms wrapping around your waist.
âI have another auction coming up,â Sylus says, his chin resting on the top of your head as you dump a spoonful of sugar into your hot beverage.
âWhatâs that got to do with me?â you ask, turning your head to peer up at him.
âHaving a Hunter by my side would make things far easier,â he replies, squeezing at your sides, âbesides, Iâd have to go to all the trouble of finding a date.â
âSo find one,â you retort, spinning his arms to hand him his cup of coffee, âIâm not in the mood for a repeat of what happened last time.â
âYou wound me,â Sylus murmurs, his eyes boring into yours intently, âarenât I being generous?â
You roll your eyes at his feigned hurt, although the slight furrow of his brows has you second-guessing whether he is actually hurt by your rejection. You brush the thought away, telling yourself that you're imagining things.
âNo,â you say simply, shaking your head and taking a sip of your coffee.
âMy black card,â Sylus counters, setting his mug of coffee down, âno limits.â
You scoff, raising your brows. âAre you trying to buy me out?â
âHardly,â he replies, âIâm letting you buy whatever it is you desire.â
Your lips purse, eyes narrowing at the man suspiciously. You donât why heâs being so insistent, when he most likely has access to an endless supply of women. He raises his brows and you shake your head again, refusing his offer.
Sylusâ jaw clenches, his fingers tightening into your shirt. âWhy must you deny me?â
âIâm not denying you,â you say, setting your own cup of coffee down, âI just donât want to go.â
âIs the thought of being with me that unappealing?â
âI didnât say that!â you protest, irritation pricking at your skin.
Sylus stares down at you, his lips thinning. Heâs never gotten angry at you before, and you donât understand why heâs starting now. Another scoff leaves you when he pushes away from you suddenly, his fingers reaching for the keys to his bike.
âWhat is wrong with you?â you snap, stealing his keys before he gets them.
âYouâve been pushing me away,â Sylus hisses, glaring down at you.
âPushing you away?â you echo, shaking your head, âweâve been together since last night!â
âFor a Hunter, you are infuriatingly dense,â he shoots back.
Your breath hitches when he suddenly cups your cheeks, his body drawing closer until you're trapped between him and the kitchen counter. His keys drop from your hand, landing on the floor with a clatter.
âIsnât it obvious?â Sylus whispers, his head lowering, âI want more.â
âM- more what?â you sputter, trying to lean away from him. Sylus doesnât let you, his forehead pressing against yours.
âMore of this,â he says firmly, âmore of you, more of us.â
You blink up at him, words getting stuck in your throat. In hindsight, your intuition was right. Sylus cups the back of your head, drawing you into a kiss. Itâs hungry and all-consuming, a soft mewl spilling from your mouth as he smooths his thumb over your cheek gently.
âLet me have you,â Sylus whispers.
âI didnât take you for a romantic,â you mutter weakly.
Sylus rolls his eyes, hands finding the backs of your thighs as he scoops you up into his arms.
âMy- my coffee!â you whine.
âForget about the stupid coffee,â Sylus dismisses, dumping you onto your bed before crawling over you, his hips settling between your thighs.
Your eyes widen, his actions tugging at your heart uncomfortably as he smooths his hands over your hair, cradling your head as he lands soft kisses across the expanse of your face.
âOh,â you whisper, eyes fluttering shut, âyou like me. You like me a lot.â
âShouldâve been obvious,â Sylus grumbles, his face pressing into the crook of your neck petulantly.Â
Thereâs no more teasing when he rolls his hips, an airy gasp escaping you as he grinds his hard cock into you. Sylus reaches for your hands, pinning them on either side of your head, his fingers lacing with yours.Â
âI need this,â he murmurs, âI need you.â
âYou- ah- you have me.â
âNot yet,â Sylus whispers.
You watch with half-lidded eyes as he draws back and pulls your shorts down your legs. Sylus frees his cock from his sweatpants, shuffling forward until he places his cock snug between your folds.
âWatch,â he orders, squeezing your hip.
You do watch. You watch with your lower lip bitten, fighting the urge to let your head tip back as he rubs his cock along your folds, the flushed tip of it disappearing before appearing again. The head of his cock nudges against your clit, his pre-cum beginning to drip in fat globs already, coating the swollen bud.
His fingers find yours again, body moving atop yours as he continues to grind his fat cock against your pussy.Â
âCould have this cock everyday,â Sylus says, squeezing your hands. âHm? Doesnât that sound good? Iâll fuck you nice and slow then cuddle you after. All you have to do is be a good girl and ask.â
âY-yes,â you whimper, hips bucking to try and get his cock to slip inside your achy hole, âSylus, please.â
âTell me, baby,â he coaxes, his lips brushing your jaw.
âI- I want you,â you gasp out, eyes wide and earnest, âso please, please stay with me.â
âGood girl,â Sylus praises, his hand gripping the base of his cock.
You whine when he presses the head of it into you, the rest of his fat length following as he sinks into you, inch after inch. Itâs different than before, somehow youâre acutely aware of how his body feels on yours, how his cock is stuffing you full.
He kisses your forehead, his eyes never straying from yours as he holds your hands again. Your legs lock around him immediately, mouth falling open as he begins to fuck into you slowly.
âThis cock is all yours,â Sylus groans, âIâm all yours, baby.â
âThen- hah- then donât leave,â you manage out breathlessly, âo-okay, Sylus?â
âNot going anywhere,â the white-haired man affirms.
Sylus kisses you deeply and fucks you slowly, making sure you feel every ridge on his cock as he slides through your clenching walls. Soft moans fill the air, both of you unraveling under each otherâs touch. You let go of his hands in favor of wrapping your arms around his neck, kissing his forehead and letting him tuck his face back into the crook of your neck.
His thumb rubs at your puffy clit and youâre seizing up, back arching as your body draws taut.
âHa- nngh! âm gonna- fuck- âm gonna cum!â you cry, fisting his hair in your hand and pulling hard.
Sylus hisses at the feeling, his mouth closing around your tit, sucking your nipple into his mouth. You can feel his thumb press against your clit a little harder, his balls slapping against your ass when he speeds up a bit more before his hips slow into deep, rolling thrusts.
âCum, baby,â Sylus whispers, âcum on my cock, cream my fuckinâ cock like a good girl, sweetie.â
âSylus!â you grit out, thighs twitching as you cum violently on his cock, body shaking uncontrollably as your orgasm hits you harder than anything youâve had before.
âBaby, fuck-â he growls, his fingers grabbing at your thighs to hold you in place as he shoves his cock into you as deep as possible.
You squeal, eyes squeezing shut tightly as he unravels with you, hot cum spilling into you. A soft whimper leaves you as Sylus humps his hips into a few more times, his motions stuttery and uneven as more cum floods your pussy, your walls clenching around him greedily.
A noise of protest sounds when he slumps over you, his heavy body landing on yours. Light sweat covers both of you and you pout, knowing youâll have to shower again. Sylus doesnât get up for a few moments, mouthing at your tits lazily and landing little kisses to your nipples. The sensations make a shiver rack through and he grunts when you push at his chest firmly, softening cock slipping out of you as he rolls onto his side and tugs you back into the warmth of his chest.
True to his word, he does cuddle you, although youâre sure he wouldâve done it regardless of his previous words.Â
âAsshole,â you mumble hoarsely, trying to crawl on top of him, ânow I canât walk anymore.â
Sylus laughs, his hands smoothing over your hips and waist as you settle on his lap, breasts flush against his chest and your face in the crook of his neck. You hum contentedly when he drops a kiss to your hair, squirming happily when he pets over your thighs and ass.
âI suppose Iâll just have to carry you, hm?â Sylus says, rubbing your back.
The warmth of his body has your eyes drooping shut as you nod. Sylus makes you feel safe, despite everything, his gentle touches making your mind hazy. You feel yourself falling asleep, lulled by the man beneath you.
-Â
You wake up again, mumbling softly. The weight of Sylusâ arm is noticeable, slung around your waist. Your brows furrow when you look down, realizing that he mustâve cleaned you up while you were asleep, a fresh pair of panties pulled up your legs and one of his shirts covering your upper-half.
Wriggling, you turn onto your side to find him already awake and staring at you. A sleepy smile spreads across your face, and you inch closer to land a sweet kiss to his lips. Your heart stutters in your chest when he traps your chin between his fingers, deepening the kiss for a brief moment before letting you go with a soft peck.
âDoes this mean I get your card whenever I want?â you ask teasingly.
Sylus shakes his head, âthat was a one time offer.â
You shoot him a sulky look, prodding your finger into his chest. âJerk.â
He grabs your finger, lifting it to his lips and kissing the pad of it. You flush, heart fluttering at the action. Sylus smiles and you snuggle back into his chest, not before kissing his cheek quickly.
âIâm glad we met,â you say quietly.
âAs am I,â Sylus murmurs, his fingers spreading across your scalp pleasantly.
âYou shouldâve said something sooner,â you add on after a few moments, tracing random shapes against his pec.
âThought youâd crack first,â he replies, tucking your hair behind your ear, âall that clinginess. I was sure.â
You pinch his bicep in retaliation, squealing when he smacks your ass in return. A giggle breaks out of you when he peppers your face with kisses, a dopey smile spreading across your face as Sylus nuzzles into you affectionately.Â
Itâs something youâll remember for the years to come.

GENTLE LOVE : GOJO SATORU, GETO SUGURU
âloving you is the easiest thing,â he murmured against your skin, his voice low and comforting, as if he was sharing a secret meant only for you.
wc. 8,9k | m.list
it was almost midnight when you found yourself grumbling under your breath, cursing your two upperclassmen for dragging you into this late-night escapade. you tugged at the hem of your hello kitty pink pajamas, the fabric flapping slightly in the cool breeze that swept through the empty park. your hair, loose and free, danced in the wind as you shivered, regretting not grabbing a jacket on your way out.
the park was eerily quiet, the moonlight casting long shadows from the trees onto the pathway. as you trudged along, your slippers making soft thuds on the pavement, you finally spotted them: gojo and geto, casually lounging like it wasnât nearing the early hours of the morning.
gojo, still dressed in his uniform, was sitting on a bench with an ice cream cone in hand, his legs stretched out in front of him as if he had all the time in the world. his bright white hair practically glowed under the dim park lights, a stark contrast to the dark surroundings. next to him, geto stood with his usual calm demeanor, already changed into his comfortable, oversized attireâa black sweatshirt and sweatpants. he had an ice cream cone of his own, and a plastic bag dangled from his wrist, likely filled with more midnight snacks they somehow thought were worth dragging you out here for.
you approached them, your face scrunched in annoyance. âyou idiots do realize it's almost midnight, right?â you crossed your arms, trying to maintain your irritation despite the amusing sight of the two of them indulging in ice cream as if they were on a casual afternoon outing.
âof course we do,â gojo responded nonchalantly, licking his ice cream and ignoring your glare before gesturing to the empty space beside him, âcome sit down and stop complaining already.â
geto chimed in, a sly smile playing at his lips as he took a bite from his own ice cream. âdon't be such a buzzkill. you're here now, might as well enjoy the night air with us.â you had barely taken a seat on the bench when gojo's grin widened, his eyes raking over your hello kitty pink pajamas. he tried to stifle a laugh, but it quickly burst out, echoing through the quiet park. âseriously? hello kitty? arenât you a little old for that?â he teased, his tone dripping with amusement as he nudged you playfully with his elbow.
geto chuckled as well, eyeing your pajamas. âgotta admit it's pretty adorable, though.â
gojo leaned in closer, still grinning. âaww, look at you, all cozy in your kitty jammies,â he teased, pinching the fabric at your shoulder between his fingers, âyou look like you should be tucked in bed and not out here with us.â
geto chuckled, shaking his head as he eyed your outfit with an amused smirk. âi thought youâd come out in something at least a little more... you know, grown-up,â he added, his voice calm but clearly entertained. âi mean, itâs cute, but definitely not what i expected from you.â
you glared at them both, cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and annoyance. âwell, excuse me for not having a runway-worthy wardrobe at midnight,â you shot back, crossing your arms defensively over your chest. âat least iâm dressed for comfort, unlike someone whoâs still in his uniform,â you added, shooting a pointed look at gojo.
gojo chuckled, patting the edge of his uniform blazer. âhey, don't hate on my style. this uniform's part of my charm.â geto leaned back against the backrest after he was taking a sit, still wearing that smirking. âmore like a part of your ego,â he quipped, earning a roll of the eyes from gojo.
âoh, shut up,â gojo retorted, returning his full attention to you. âbesides, you're the one who couldn't be bothered to change out of those baby pajamas.â
geto snorted at gojoâs remark, his smirk turning into a full-blown grin. âisnât it past your bedtime already?â he asked, raising an eyebrow playfully as he glanced at you. you shot him a sassy look, crossing your arms and giving him a mock glare. âoh, please,â you retorted. âlike youâre one to talk about bedtime. youâre the one hanging out in oversized sweatpants like a toddler, what are you? 2? at least my pajamas are cute.â
geto chuckled, shaking his head at your response. âtouchĂ©,â he admitted, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth. gojo snickered, watching the banter between you two with amusement. then he turned his smirk towards you, a mischievous glimmer in his eyes. âyou know, speaking of toddlers, with those cute little jammies, you're practically begging for a bedtime story.â
he leaned in closer, his gaze lingering on the cartoon kitties printed on your pjs, âyou want us to tuck you in and read you a goodnight tale?â you groaned in annoyance, rolling your eyes so hard you nearly gave yourself a headache. âoh, for the love ofâstop it already,â you grumbled, standing up from the bench and making a show of sulking.
you started to walk back toward the dorm, but gojo was quick to act. He leaped up and blocked your path, a playful grin still plastered on his face. âoh no, you donât,â he said, holding out his hand to gently stop you. âweâre not letting you escape this easily.â
geto chuckled as he didn't move an inch, watching the scene unfold with amusement. âcome on, donât be like that. weâre just having fun.â gojo's hand on your shoulder was firm, his grip gentle but preventing you from escaping. his smirk widened as he watched you pout with annoyance. âyeah, where do you think you're going? we didn't drag you out here to ditch us now.â
geto chimed in, still slouching on the bench. âyou're stuck with us for a while still. so sit back down and enjoy the night. or are you just gonna sulk all night?â you groaned loudly, feeling the frustration bubble up again. âugh, so annoying,â you muttered under your breath, stomping your feet as you turned back toward the bench.
gojo chuckled, satisfied that you were returning to the bench. he took his place beside you again, his arm casually slung over the backrest.
âsee, that's a good girl,â he teased, his smirk widening, âno need to throw a tantrum.â geto rolled his eyes at his comment but still had that smirk on his face. âyeah, don't be such a drama queen,â he chimed in, enjoying the moment. gojoâs smirk softened into a more genuine smile as he held out his ice cream to you. âhere, have some more,â he said, his tone a bit more soothing. âitâll help with that attitude of yours.â
geto followed suit, handing you his ice cream with a playful grin. âyeah, we donât want you sulking the whole night. weâre just here to have a good time,â he added, leaning back and clearly enjoying your reactions.
you took the ice cream from them, feeling a bit of the tension ease away as you accepted their offering. âalright, alright,â you said, though your annoyance had already started to melt away. âiâll take the ice cream. just stop with the teasing for a bit.â both of them exchanged amused glances, their grins not fading. âdeal,â gojo said, giving you a reassuring pat on the shoulder. ânow, letâs just enjoy the night.â
you took a bite of the ice cream, the cold sweetness helping to calm your irritation. despite their constant teasing, you found yourself smiling, realizing that, for all their antics, they really did make these late-night outings enjoyable.
gojo and geto exchanged a satisfied look as they saw your mood gradually improving. watching your expression soften with each bite of the ice cream was like a victory for them.
âsee, we knew the sweet stuff would mellow you out,â gojo commented, a smug smile playing at his lips. geto chuckled, nodding, âyeah, nothing like some ice cream to chase away the grumpy mood.â he leaned back, stretching his legs out in front of him. âwe've still got some snacks left, though. want something else?â
you took another bite of the ice cream, feeling your mood continue to improve. with a contented sigh, you looked at geto and shook your head. âiâm okay for now,â you said, offering them a small smile. âiâll take the snacks later.â
as you continued eating your ice cream, you felt getoâs fingers gently run through the back of your hair, combing through it with a tender touch. the sensation was soothing, and you couldnât help but notice how often they found little ways to be physically close to you, even if it was just a gentle touch.
you glanced at geto, his eyes soft as he focused on the simple gesture. you had come to realize over the past months that this was their way of staying connectedâalways finding subtle ways to show affection without overstepping any boundaries.
gojo saw the tender moment between you and geto, his hand in your hair, and he felt a pang of jealousy. he knew geto had always been more openly affectionate, but he didn't want to be left out.
without a word, he scooted closer to you on the bench, his thigh touching yours. he leaned in, invading your personal space, and feigned a shiver. âgod, it's cold tonight,â he commented, his voice taking on a mocking tone, âyou think i could share some of your warmth, princess? it's freezing.â
âyou guys really are touch-starved, huh?â you commented with a soft chuckle, your tone light but acknowledging the need youâd noticed. geto smiled, his fingers continuing their gentle movement. âjust a bit,â he admitted, looking content. âitâs nice to be close to you. we donât get to do this often enough.â
you rolled your eyes playfully but couldnât deny the warmth spreading through you. âwell, as long as itâs not too overwhelming, i guess i can handle it,â you said, leaning into his touch and letting yourself relax a bit more.
gojo let out a mock gasp of offense, his smirk not fading. âdid you just call us touch-starved?â he feigned a pout, raising an eyebrow, âwe're not that desperate, are we?â
despite his protests, he was secretly enjoying the fact that you were acknowledging their fondness for physical touch. he leaned even closer to you, his body pressing against yours, âoh come on, admit it. you love the attention.â
you raised an eyebrow, giving gojo a sarcastic look. âlove the attention? from constantly getting surrounded by a couple of giant babies? not really,â you replied, your tone dripping with mock exasperation.
gojo feigned a look of shock, clutching a hand to his chest. âoh, wounded,â he dramatically exclaimed, a smirk still on his face. âwe're not babies! we're just, you know, physically affectionate.â
geto chuckled at the exchange, his hand continuing its gentle stroking through your hair, âyeah, we can't help it if we crave your company. you're like our walking, talking stress reliever.â you tilted your head slightly, a playful grin spreading across your face as you looked at geto. âso, am i doing a good job as your walking, talking stress reliever?â you asked, your tone light and teasing.
getoâs eyes met yours with a soft, appreciative smile. âoh, absolutely,â he said, his hand continuing its gentle movement through your hair. âyouâre perfect at it. couldnât ask for a better stress reliever.â gojo rolled his eyes dramatically at geto's response. âoh, come on,â he interjected, a playful pout on his lips. âdon't hog all the credit. i'm a pretty fantastic stress reliever too, you know.â
he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, pulling you slightly closer to him and away from geto. âcan't have you getting too attached to just one of us.â you let out an exaggerated groan and rolled your eyes. âoh, please, donât get all cringe-worthy now,â you said, wrinkling your nose as gojo pulled you closer.
you nudged him playfully, still shaking your head. âif you guys are going to use me as your personal stress reliever, you should start sending me some money for my services,â you added with a teasing grin. gojo laughed at your response, his arm still around your shoulder. âoh, so now you want monetary compensation for being our stress relief toy? how much do you want?â
geto, not wanting to be left out, chimed in, âyeah, name your price. we're willing to pay top dollar for your services.â you squinted at them, giving them a bemused look. âwhy do you guys talk like iâm some kind of hooker?â you asked, your tone a mix of amusement and disbelief.
gojo's smirk widened, âwho said anything about hookers? we're just talking about your value as a stress reliever.â
geto chimed in, his tone playful, âyeah, you're priceless, you know. we'd pay a fortune to keep you around.â you gave them a disgusted look, shaking your head. âi swear, everything that comes out of your mouths sometimes sounds so inappropriate,â you said, your tone exasperated but with a hint of amusement. gojo chuckled at your disapproving look. âhey, blame it on our naturally filthy minds. it's just who we are.â
geto grinned, his hand finally leaving your hair, âyeah, you know you love it. deep down, you probably find it entertaining.â you rolled your eyes, reaching over to smack the back of their heads. âassholes,â you muttered, your tone more playful than serious.
after spending some time at the park, you thought the night was coming to a peaceful close, but gojo and geto had other plans. theyâd decided, on a whim, to drag you out for a midnight hike up a nearby hillâwhile you were still in your pajamas.
you trudged up the path, feeling the chilly night air against your skin, your pajamas doing little to keep you warm. âthis is my life now,â you complained dramatically, âiâve climbed this hill, and now iâll die upon it!â
gojo, leading the way, glanced back with an amused smirk. âshut up, weâve only been hiking for five minutes,â he shot back, clearly entertained by your theatrics.
âyeah, quit your whining,â geto added from behind, his soft chuckle barely audible over the sound of your footsteps. âitâs not even that far, and youâre doing great.â
you shot a look back at geto, feeling a mix of frustration and disbelief. âseriously, though? dragging me out here in the middle of the night when iâm in pajamas? you two are insufferable.â
gojo turned around, walking backward with a grin. âcome on, itâll be worth it. the view from the top is amazing. just a little bit more.â with a dramatic sigh, you kept trudging along, determined not to let them have the satisfaction of seeing you give up. âfine, fine. but iâm holding you both responsible for my inevitable suffering.â
getoâs laughter echoed in the cool night air as he followed closely behind you. âdeal. just keep going, and youâll see it was worth it.â the night stretched on as you climbed higher, and despite your grumbling, there was a sense of quiet camaraderie in the air. it was the kind of absurd adventure that youâd look back on with a smileâthough for now, the thought of your warm bed seemed like the true peak of the night.
gojo continued to lead the way, his pace steady and his spirits high. each step up the hill seemed to fuel his energy. âcome on, princess, don't complain so much. you're still in your adorable hello kitty pajamas.â
geto was right behind you, his calm demeanor a stark contrast to your dramatic behavior, âyeah, just a little bit further. you can do it. we promise it'll be worth it.â you felt their hands tighten around yours, and you glanced at them with a sarcastic smile. âoh, wonderful, iâm being supported by the worldâs most enthusiastic hill-climbers,â you said, your tone dripping with mock enthusiasm. âjust what i needed.â
gojoâs grin widened, clearly pleased with your reaction. âsee? weâre not so bad. we just want to make sure youâre okay.â geto chuckled at your sarcastic remark, âyeah, we're just being helpful guides on your little midnight adventure. think of us as your personal sherpas.â
gojo chimed in, his tone was light and playful, âand hey, you gotta admit, we're pretty great company. who else would drag you out on a hill climb like this?â you rolled your eyes, giving them an annoyed look. âpersonal sherpas, huh? more like personal tormentors,â you said, shaking your head. âand yeah, i guess Iâd be hard-pressed to find anyone else crazy enough to drag me out in pajamas for a midnight hike.â
gojo chuckled at your exasperated expression. âhey, we prefer the term 'enthusiastic adventure planners' as for the pajamas, well, we think they're just adding to the hiking experience.â geto chimed in with a cheeky smile, âyeah, you look adorable in your hello kitty jammies, even if they're not exactly hiking-appropriate.â
once the three of you reached the top of the hill, you looked out at the city lights spread before you. with your hands on your hips, you turned to look at gojo and geto, who were both smiling at the view with evident satisfaction.
you couldnât help but frown as you took in the sight. with a dramatic sigh, you smacked both of their chests. âthe view is shit,â you complained, shaking your head. âi climbed all the way up here for this?â gojo let out an exaggerated gasp, pretending to be wounded by your complaint. âhey, we worked hard to drag your whining ass up here.â
geto chuckled, looking amused at your response. âyeah, and youâre supposed to appreciate the view, not just complain about it.â you rolled your eyes dramatically, crossing your arms. âoh, yeah, appreciate the view,â you said sarcastically. âthe city lights are just so dull. and letâs not forget, itâs freezing up here.â
you shivered slightly, adding with a mock shiver, âiâm practically turning into an ice sculpture. so, thanks for that, too.â gojo chuckled at your constant complaints. âman, you really are a master of complaining, aren't you? the view isn't dull, it's just not exciting enough for your high standards."
geto chimed in, still amused by your dramatic responses. âyeah, and it's not even that cold. grow some thicker skin, princess.â you turned to geto with a raised eyebrow. âoh, yeah? how about you be a gentleman and give me your sweatshirt, then?â you said, your tone dripping with sarcasm.
geto chuckled at your demand, raising an eyebrow as well. âoh, so now you're using your feminine wiles to try and get your way, huh?â gojo chimed in with a smirk, clearly enjoying the exchange, âyeah, playing the damsel in distress, all shivering and cute.â
you grumbled, clearly annoyed by their teasing. âuseless,â you muttered under your breath as you sat down on the grass, your feet aching from the climb. gojo and geto exchanged amused glances, watching as you took a seat without saying anything more.
gojo chuckled, his eyes watching you closely as you sat down. âoh, look, the complaining princess has finally decided to take a break.â geto smirked, looking down at you as you sat on the grass, âyeah, those cute little feet got tired, huh?â you pouted, giving them both a look of exaggerated exasperation. âit hurts,â you admitted, rubbing your feet slightly, âand itâs not exactly comfortable up here, you know.â
gojo kneeled down beside you, pretending to be sympathetic, âoh, poor princess, your dainty feet can't handle a little bit of cold grass.â geto chuckled, sitting down next to you as well. âyeah, this isn't exactly the luxury penthouse you're used to, huh?â
you continued to pout, rubbing your ankle with a slight wince, refusing to respond to their teasing. gojo and geto exchanged a look, their playful expressions softening as they watched you, the usual mischief in their eyes replaced by something more gentle.
âalright, alright,â gojo finally said, letting out a small laugh. âweâre sorry, princess. didnât mean to push you too hard.â geto sighed, a hint of a smile on his lips as he shrugged off his sweatshirt. âhere,â he said, draping it over your shoulders. âwas planning to give it to you anyway, just had to get my teasing in first.â
you glanced up at him, your pout easing slightly as you pulled the sweatshirt closer around you. it was warm, and you could smell getoâs familiar scent, which made you feel a little better. âthanks,â you mumbled, still sulking a bit but grateful nonetheless. âsee?â gojo grinned, leaning in closer. âweâre not completely useless, right?â
geto nudged your side gently. âand weâll make it up to you. promise.â you let out a small, reluctant laugh, their warmth and light-heartedness slowly melting away your annoyance. âso annoying,â you murmur with a small smile on your face.
gojo chuckled at your grumbled response, his smile growing wider. âyeah, we're pretty damn annoying, but you love us for it.â geto watched you as you pulled his sweatshirt tighter around you, a soft expression on his face. he reached over and gently ruffled your hair. âsee? being annoying has its perks, doesn't it?â gojo leaned in closer, his expression mischievous, âyeah, our annoyingness comes with a side of pretty damn good rewards, princess.â
as you sat there, wrapped in geto's sweatshirt and surrounded by their annoying but loveable presence, the three of you settled into a comfortable silence. the city lights continued to glimmer in the distance, and the cool night air carried a hint of chill.
gojo and geto sat on either side of you, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of the moon. they watched you intently, waiting to see if your sulky demeanor would give way entirely. you let out a small sigh, deciding to just give in to the moment. without a word, you shifted and lay back on the grass, eyes fixed on the sky above. the cool blades tickled your skin through getoâs sweatshirt, but it was oddly comforting.
the city lights below seemed less dull from this angle, mingling with the stars in a quiet, understated way. it wasnât exactly the grand view you expected, but maybe that was okay. gojo glanced down at you, his smirk softening into something more genuine. âgetting comfy?â he teased lightly, though there was a warmth in his voice that didnât go unnoticed.
geto followed suit, stretching out beside you on the grass, his arm brushing against yours, âsee? not so bad when you relax a little, huh?â you didnât bother responding, just stared up at the sky, feeling their presence beside you. maybe they were annoying, but moments like this made it worth it. without looking at them, you let the silence speak for itself, a faint hint of a smile playing on your lips.
gojo and geto exchanged a glance, their teasing expressions replaced with ones of fond amusement. they knew they had broken through your initial annoyance, and now they were just enjoying this quiet moment with you.
lying on either side of you, they followed your gaze upward, looking at the stars shining above. the city lights in the distance provided a soft, ambient glow, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. after a moment, gojo chuckled softly, reaching out to playfully poke your side, âyou're quiet. that either means you're still annoyed, or you're actually enjoying this.â
you felt geto's arm gently lift your head, and you didnât resist as he slipped it under, letting it serve as a makeshift pillow. it was warm and oddly comforting, his familiar scent wrapping around you like a blanket.
you turned your head slightly to glance at gojo, still pouting a little but softened by the quiet peace of the moment. âi mean, it's not the worst,â you admitted, your voice carrying a playful hint of reluctance, âi guess this is... kinda nice.â
gojo grinned, his finger still poking at your side, âi knew you'd come around. you just needed some convincing.â geto chuckled softly, his arm shifting a bit to make sure you were comfortable. âand some decent company,â he added, his voice low and calm. you let out a small huff, but the corner of your lips betrayed you with the slightest upturn. âyeah, yeah. just don't get used to it, you two.â
but even as you said it, you settled more comfortably into getoâs arm, the three of you lying there in the quiet night, enjoying the simple, unexpected pleasure of each other's presence. gojo chuckled, his smirk widening as he observed your softening expression. âoh, princess, you can deny it all you want, but we know youâre enjoying this deep down. we just have that effect on you, donât we?â
geto chimed in, his voice carrying an amused tone. âyeah, and the way youâre snuggling into my arm isnât exactly subtle, either. it's cute when you act all tough but then canât resist the charm of your two favorite jerks.â you let out a quiet scoff, rolling your eyes at their relentless teasing. as much as you wanted to keep up the act, you couldnât help but feel a little warmth in your chest at their words. their playful banter, the way they made it a point to draw a smile out of you, it was all annoyingly endearing.
you shifted slightly, making yourself more comfortable against getoâs arm, but you didnât bother giving them a response. instead, you just gazed up at the sky, letting the sounds of their laughter and the cool breeze fill the silence.
it was one of those rare moments where words werenât needed. surrounded by the soft glow of city lights and the comforting presence of your two favorite idiots, you found yourself genuinely content, even if youâd never admit it out loud. your scoff lingered in the air, a small sign of your silent surrender to their antics, and in return, they both smiled, satisfied with the quiet victory.
gojo and geto exchanged a knowing smirk, silently pleased with your reaction. they knew they had won this little battle of wills, and the look on your face said it all.
lying there under the starry sky, gojo reached over and gently ruffled your hair. âlook at you, all cozy and relaxed. we think you secretly love this little adventure, princess.â geto chuckled softly, his hand idly rubbing small circles on your arm. âyeah, we knew you'd come around and admit that spending time with us isn't so bad after all.â
you glanced between them, a faint smile tugging at your lips despite your best efforts to keep it hidden. their warmth, their teasing, and even their relentless persistenceâeverything about this moment felt oddly comforting.
âmaybe,â you mumbled softly, not quite ready to give them the satisfaction of a full admission, but just enough to let them know that you didnât entirely hate it. gojoâs eyes sparkled with amusement as he leaned in closer, his grin widening. âweâll take that âmaybeâ as a win,â he declared, his tone triumphant.
geto nodded, his gentle touch still lingering on your arm. âyeah, thatâs basically a âyesâ in your language,â he teased, his voice low and fond. you rolled your eyes playfully but didnât argue further, allowing yourself to just soak in the peace of the moment. maybe, just maybe, you didnât mind this little midnight adventure after all.
gojo chuckled, clearly satisfied with your reluctant admission. âsee? we knew you couldnât resist our irresistible charm. youâre secretly a big olâ softie.â getoâs smile widened at gojoâs words, his hand continuing its soothing circles on your arm. âyeah, deep down, you wouldnât trade this for anything. admit it.â the two of them looked down at you, their expressions filled with a mix of amusement and affection as they waited for your response.
the quiet of the night settled around the three of you, the cool grass beneath you and the stars above painting a serene backdrop. your eyes stayed fixed on the vast sky, the scattered constellations offering a calm distraction from the earlier banter.
gojoâs finger brushed against yours, a soft and tentative touch, like he was testing the waters, unsure if youâd pull away or let him linger. but you didnât move, didnât say a wordâjust let the gentle contact continue, finding an unexpected comfort in the subtle connection.
getoâs arm under your head provided a steady warmth, his presence equally calming. though neither of them spoke, their proximity and the quiet sounds of their breathing beside you felt like a silent reassuranceâan unspoken promise that, despite the teasing and the occasional annoyances, they were right where they wanted to be: by your side.
for once, you didnât feel the need to complain or roll your eyes. instead, you allowed yourself to simply exist in the moment, the cool breeze, the faint rustle of leaves, and the distant hum of city lights below making everything feel strangely perfect. maybe, you thought, this wasnât such a bad place to be after all.
gojo and geto continued their subtle touches, silently enjoying the peaceful moment. they could sense that you were relaxed and content, and for once, they didnât press you to say anything.
gojo's finger gently traced a lazy pattern on the back of your hand, his touch barely perceptible. geto's arm underneath your head held you close, his presence steady and comforting. the night deepened as the three of you lay there under the vast sky, the silence stretching on as if the world had slowed down, just for this moment.
after a while, gojo finally broke the silence, his voice soft and thoughtful, âyou know, i never thought I'd say this, but this isnât too bad.â
geto hummed in agreement, his arm adjusting slightly under your head. âyeah, usually our little adventures involve more chaos and less quiet relaxation.â gojo chuckled quietly, his finger still tracing small circles on your hand. âyeah, usually weâre the ones causing the trouble, not lying in the grass like some peace-loving hippies.â
geto chuckled as well, joining in on the playful banter. âyeah, and youâre usually the one complaining the loudest, princess.â
gojo smirked, lifting his free hand and lightly pinching your cheek. âyeah, but weâve already established that deep down, you secretly love our annoying antics. thatâs why you keep hanging out with us.â you huffed, rolling your eyes at their relentless teasing. âplease, letâs not pretend i have a choice here. you two are the ones who keep forcing me to hang out. if i ever tried to bail, youâd just terrorize me until i gave inâor worse, have suguruâs rainbow dragon hunt me down.â
gojo chuckled, his smirk widening. âdamn right weâd keep terrorizing you. if we couldnât win you over with our charm, weâd just resort to pestering you till you said yes.â geto chimed in, a sly smile creeping across his face, âand you know weâd do it too. we donât give up that easily.â a pause hung in the air as both of them eyed you expectantly, waiting for your response. they knew they had a point, but they also knew you weren't likely to admit that you secretly enjoyed their company.
you sighed, rolling your eyes as their smug expressions continued to linger. âshut up, both of you,â you mumbled, trying to stifle a smile. âcan we just enjoy a quiet moment for once without you two yapping your asses off?â
gojo chuckled, but he respected your request, leaning back and looking up at the sky. âalright, alright. we'll give the princess some peace and quiet.â
geto nodded, still grinning but now in silence, his hand gently squeezing yours in acknowledgment. the three of you settled back into a comfortable quiet, the sounds of the city below fading away as you all focused on the stillness of the night, the stars above, and the quiet but undeniable warmth of being together.
as the quiet settled around you once again, a thought occurred to geto. he glanced over at you, his voice quiet but curious. âhey, y/n,â he began. gojo glanced over as well, his eyes fixed on you, anticipating the question. you hummed softly as the answer. geto continued, his tone thoughtful. âhave you ever made a wish on a shooting star?â
you stayed silent for a moment, eyes fixed on the vast expanse of the sky above, tracing the faint outlines of distant stars. the night was quiet, save for the soft rustling of leaves and the occasional distant hum of the city below. after a brief pause, a soft chuckle escaped your lips. âyeah,â you finally answered, still gazing upwards, âi have.â
gojo perked up, a look of mild surprise on his face. âreally?â he asked, his curiosity piqued. geto raised an eyebrow, turning to look at you with a hint of intrigue in his eyes. âhuh, i didn't take you for the superstitious type.â you shrugged slightly, still looking up at the sky, âi didn't, but i was pretty desperate at the time.â
gojo and geto exchanged a glance, their expressions filled with curiosity. they knew that you weren't one to casually make wishes on shooting stars. âyeah?â gojo prompted, his voice a mix of interest and concern, âwhat was so desperate that you needed to make a wish on a shooting star?â
you hesitated for a moment, biting your lip as you weighed your options. after a long pause, you sighed and looked back up at the sky. âitâs⊠something i want the most,â you finally said, your voice quiet but honest, âsomething i didnât think i could get any other way.â
gojo and geto grew quiet, their expressions turning thoughtful. they could sense the seriousness in your tone and knew that this wasn't a light-hearted request. there was a moment of silence as the two of them exchanged a glance, a silent question passing between them. finally, gojo spoke up again.
âwhat was it that you wished for?â he asked softly, his voice gentle. you shifted slightly in geto's embrace, feeling his warmth against you as you took a breath. âgentle love,â you admitted softly, the words hanging in the air. there was a brief silence as you all absorbed the weight of your confession.
a quiet laugh escaped your lips, breaking the stillness. âitâs silly, i know,â you muttered, your tone light but a bit self-conscious. âsounds ridiculous when you say it out loud, huh?â there was another brief moment of silence as the two of them processed your words. they glanced at each other again, sensing the vulnerability behind your confession.
then, gojo chuckled softly, breaking the silence. âno, itâs not ridiculous,â he reassured, his voice gentle and sincere. geto spoke up as well, his hand gently squeezing yours, âyeah, donât worry, princess. itâs not silly at all.â
a few moments passed before gojo spoke up again, his voice a little quieter, âcan i ask you something?â geto remained silent, his eyes fixed on you, waiting to see where this was going.
again, you softly hummed.
gojo shifted a bit, his eyes locked on yours, âwhat does âgentle loveâ mean to you?â geto watched you closely, his expression a mix of curiosity and concern. you smiled softly, your eyes drifting to the stars above. âi want gentle love,â you murmured, your voice filled with quiet longing. âthat kind of love where he rubs my cheek with his thumb, where he kisses me over and over until we're laughing.â
you continued, your gaze distant as you pictured the tender moments in your mind. âwhere he uses his fingers to make circles on my hand, kisses my shoulder when iâm looking away, tucks my hair behind my ears, and kisses my forehead.â
a wistful sigh escaped your lips. âlong hugs, rubbing my back when i lay on his chest⊠where he treats me like i'm delicate.â you paused, feeling the weight of your own words, before a small smile tugged at your lips, almost as if you were lost in a sweet daydream.
gojo and geto listened intently, their expressions soft as you described your yearning for gentle love. they could hear the earnest desire in your voice, the way your words painted a picture of quiet, tender affection.
there was a moment of silence as they took in your description, before gojo broke it. âthat all sounds really nice,â he offered, his voice gentle. geto hummed in agreement, his eyes still fixed on you. âyeah, it does,â he said quietly, his hand giving yours a slight squeeze.bgojo shifted again, watching you closely. âhave you... ever received that kind of love before?â he asked, his voice soft but curious. geto stayed silent, knowing that gojo's question might touch a nerve.
you glanced at gojo, your eyebrows raised slightly in surprise at his question. a soft chuckle escaped your lips as you shook your head gently. âno,â you admitted, your voice carrying a tinge of vulnerability. âthatâs why iâm desperate.â
your words hung in the cool night air, the soft glow of the city lights in the distance reflecting the quiet longing in your heart. you felt gojo and geto's gazes on you, their expressions a mix of empathy and something unspoken, but you just kept your eyes on the sky, the stars above feeling like the only witness to your wish.
the three of you fell into a brief silence again as your words settled in. gojo and geto exchanged a glance, their expressions shifting to show a mix of understanding and concern.
gojo was the first to speak up, his voice a bit softer than usual. âbut why does it have to be a shooting star? why not just...â he trailed off, not quite sure how to finish his thought. geto picked up where he left off, his voice equally soft. âyeah, why not just find someone who can give you that gentle love?â
you gently nudged gojo's chest, a soft smile tugging at your lips as he lay beside you. âi told you i was desperate,â you said, a light chuckle following your words. âwhen you want something that badly, you'll do anythingâ even something as silly as wishing on a shooting star.â
turning your head slightly, you meet geto's eyes, your smile fading into something more contemplative. âitâs not that easy,â you admitted, your voice a bit quieter. âfinding someone who truly understands that kind of love⊠it feels impossible sometimes.â you let out a small sigh, your gaze drifting back up to the sky.
gojo and geto didnât have a response to that. they could feel the weight of your hopeless feeling, the resignation that crept into your voice.
geto's grip on your arm tightened ever so slightly, a silent reassurance that he was listening. gojo, meanwhile, found himself unable to find anything to say that would ease the heaviness in the air. after a few moments of silence, gojo finally spoke up, his voice soft but tinged with a hint of disbelief. âhow could it be impossible? you're not that difficult to love.â
your heart quickened at gojoâs words, a flicker of warmth spreading through the ache youâd long carried. for as long as you could remember, youâd believed you were harder to loveâyour parentsâ dismissiveness and constant comparisons to your siblings only cemented that belief. but hearing gojo say that, even in his casual tone, felt like a balm to your wounded heart.
you turned your head slightly, catching gojoâs gaze. his eyes were sincere, a quiet intensity in them that told you he meant every word. something shifted in your chest, a mix of hope and disbelief, and for a moment, you found yourself struggling to find the right response. all you could manage was a small, genuine smile, the weight of your unspoken fears still hanging between you but just a little lighter now. âthanks,â you finally whispered, the simple word carrying all the gratitude and vulnerability you couldnât quite voice.
gojo smiled back, his eyes meeting yours. he could tell that his words had touched a chord in you, and despite the lighthearted tone of his comment, he meant it. geto, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, stayed quietly beside you, his arm still wrapped around you, his presence a gentle reassurance.
gojo's expression softened as he continued to look at you, his voice warm. âyou really have no idea how lovable you are, do you?â gojo leaned closer, propping himself up on his elbow. his eyes never left yours, the sincerity in them more intense than before. he gently pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, the warmth of his touch lingering for a moment longer than necessary. âloving you is the easiest thing,â he murmured against your skin, his voice low and comforting, as if he was sharing a secret meant only for you.
when he pulled back, his expression was filled with a mix of affection and gentle confidence. âas your upperclassman, i can guarantee itâloving you is as easy as a snap of the fingers.â he snapped his fingers playfully, a warm smile spreading across his face, the kind that reached his eyes and made you feel seen and cherished in a way you hadnât felt in a long time.
geto watched from beside you, a smile playing on his lips as he observed the tenderness in gojoâs actions. he had seen gojo in many moodsâarrogant, playful, and carelessâbut this version of him, the one who was gentle and sincere, was reserved for rare moments like these.
as gojo pulled back from his affectionate gesture, geto spoke up softly, his voice carrying a hint of amusement, but also a genuine fondness. âheâs right, you know,â he added, glancing at you. âloving you might just be the easiest thing people can do.â
you smiled, the warmth from their words seeping into your chest, filling it with a comfort you hadnât realized you needed. âaww, thank you, guys,â you said, your tone playful but laced with sincerity. âaren't you the sweetest when you're not being annoying and acting like assholes?â
gojo chuckled at your light-hearted response, rolling his eyes in an exaggerated annoyance. âi'm always sweet,â he protested, feigning offense. âyou're just too dense to see it most of the time.â
geto chuckled as well, his arm tightening around you very slightly. âoh, please,â he chimed in, his smirk playful, âyou're nothing more than a loud-mouthed annoyance most days, and we all know it.â
as gojo let out an exaggerated gasp of outrage and opened his mouth to protest, you chuckle. âoh câmon, donât deny it,â you teased. âwe all know youâre a pain in the ass more than you're a sweetheart.â gojo looked like he was about to argue, but then he huffed and crossed his arms, a small pout on his face. âyou're both so mean to me,â he muttered, clearly not taking the banter too seriously.
geto chuckled warmly at gojo's mock sulk, his hand gently squeezing your shoulder. he couldn't help but join in on picking on his friend. âwell, we wouldn't have to be mean if you weren't so full of yourself all the time,â he pointed out, his smirk widening. gojo huffed in faux indignation, his pout deepening. âi am not full of myself. i'm just confident. there's a difference, you know?â
you chimed in again, your smile widening as gojo continued to pout. âyeah, thatâs what happens when you act like a big brat all the time. you reap what you sow,â you agreed with geto's.
gojo's pout turned into a full-on frown at your words, his blue eyes narrowing slightly. âhey, i do not act like a brat,â he protested, his voice edging on a whine.
geto, sensing an opportunity to tease him further, couldn't resist chiming in again. âoh, but you do,â he teased, his voice dripping with playful sarcasm. âyou act like a spoiled little kid who's always demanding attention.â gojo's frown deepened as geto continued to dig into his ego. âi do not demand attention,â he argued, his voice rising slightly.
geto chuckled, not taking gojo's protests seriously. âoh, yes, you do. you're like a needy little puppy, always wanting to be noticed and fussed over.â you chuckled softly, shaking your head at their banter. watching them bicker like this was like witnessing a comedy routine unfold right before your eyes. âyou guys are ridiculous,â you mumbled, amusement dancing in your voice.
leaning back on the grass, you glanced up at the sky again, still smiling. it was moments like theseâlighthearted, carefree, and full of laughterâthat made you cherish their presence even more. âbut, honestly, i wouldnât have it any other way,â you added, your voice soft but sincere, appreciating the warmth they brought to your life, even through their antics.
geto and gojo paused in their banter for a moment, their eyes shifting to you as you leaned back against the grass, looking up at the stars. gojoâs expression softened, his pout replaced by a small smile. he caught your eye for a second, his gaze warm and genuine.
geto's smile mirrored gojo's, his hand gently rubbing your shoulder. âyeah, same here,â he echoed your sentiment, his voice carrying a hint of affection that was as sincere as yours.
they fell into a brief silence as they all soaked in the peaceful surroundings. the laughter and light-hearted banter from moments ago had given way to a comfortable quiet, the only sounds being the distant sounds of the city and the gentle rustling of the grass. after a few moments, gojo spoke up again, his voice softer now. âyou know, i really mean it,â he said, his eyes fixed on the night sky.
you glanced over at gojo, a flicker of confusion crossing your face. his sudden shift in tone caught you off guard, and for a moment, you wondered what he was getting at. âmean what?â you asked, your voice tinged with curiosity as you tried to piece together what he was referring to.
the sincerity in his expression was unusual, and it made you slightly uneasy, unsure of where the conversation was headed. you turned your attention fully to him, your brow furrowing slightly as you waited for him to elaborate.
gojo's gaze shifted from the stars to you. he could sense the confusion and curiosity in your eyes, and it made his heart clench slightly. it was unusual for him to be this serious, and he knew you must be wondering what was on his mind.
he paused for a moment, his normally lighthearted gaze now filled with a sincerity that made it all the more impactful. âi meant what i said earlier,â he clarified, his voice low but genuine, âabout loving you being the easiest thing.â
your breath caught at his words, the sincerity in his tone making your heart flutter. it was rare for gojo to be this earnest, and it threw you off balance, leaving you feeling exposed and vulnerable in a way you werenât used to. for a moment, you didnât know how to respondâhis words were so simple, yet they carried a weight that settled deeply in your chest.
you glanced away, focusing on the stars again, a small, shy smile tugging at your lips. âyouâre really something, satoru,â you mumbled softly, your voice betraying a mix of disbelief and gratitude. âiâm not used to hearing stuff like that.â
you glanced back at him briefly, catching the warm, reassuring look in his eyes, and felt your walls soften just a little more, âbut⊠thank you. that means a lot.â gojo's heart warmed at your genuine reaction to his words. he could see the vulnerability in your eyes, the way his sincere comments had thrown you off guard. it was a new side of you that he hadn't seen before.
he smiled back, his eyes soft, watching as you looked away and back at the stars. as you thanked him and admitted you weren't used to hearing those words, he reached over and gently tugged on a strand of your hair, playful yet affectionate.
âyou deserve to hear it more often,â he murmured, his voice carrying a hint of a promise. geto had been quietly listening, allowing gojo his moment with you. he observed the tender exchange, the way your guard was slowly lowering with each sincere word. he could see the impact of gojoâs words on you, the way your cheeks flushed slightly and your eyes shone with a mixture of surprise and vulnerability.
he smiled softly, his hand still on your shoulder, a silent witness to the intimate conversation unfolding between the two of you. gojo watched as geto remained silent, his presence a steady, comforting presence behind you. gojo could practically feel geto's eyes on the two of you. he knew geto was observing, listening to the conversation unfold.
he turned his attention back to you, his gaze soft and affectionate. he was enjoying this moment, this rare opportunity to be open and vulnerable without his usual pretense.
âyou really should get used to hearing it,â he repeated, his voice low and sincere. âeveryone should be telling you how lovable you are all the time.â as gojo spoke again, his voice dripping with sincerity, geto could see your expression soften further. you were visibly affected by his words, struggling to process the compliments and vulnerability he was expressing.
he took a moment to observe you, the way your walls were slowly crumbling under gojoâs gentle yet firm persistence. it was a sight to behold, seeing someone so used to closing themselves off slowly opening up due to anotherâs affection.
you let out a soft sigh, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside youâgratitude, vulnerability, and a touch of disbelief. pushing yourself up on your elbows, you gazed at the landscape stretched out before you, the city lights twinkling in the distance against the inky night sky.
with a small, almost wistful smile, you murmured, âeh, the view isnât so bad,â your tone light but carrying an undercurrent of meaning. gojo propped himself up next to you, his eyes following your gaze to the cityscape in the distance. he chuckled lightly at your comment, understanding the double meaning behind your words.
âtold ya,â he teased, a playful grin on his face. he could see the vulnerable expression you tried to hide beneath your light tone, and it made his heart clench slightly. geto, still laying behind you, noticed the exchange and smiled, his hand still gently rubbing your shoulder, a silent show of reassurance.
you glanced at the sky one more time before sighing softly, feeling the weight of the moment lingering between the three of you. shifting slightly, you gave them a small smile, trying to mask the emotions simmering just beneath the surface.
âwe should probably get going,â you said, your voice breaking the comfortable silence that had settled. âit's already so late.â
you started to push yourself up, brushing off the bits of grass clinging to your clothes. the quiet warmth of their company was something youâd savor, but you werenât quite ready to linger in this vulnerability for much longer. as you stood, you glanced down at them, catching the way gojoâs playful grin softened and how getoâs reassuring smile never wavered. despite the lateness, you knew theyâd both follow you anywhere, no questions asked.
as you started to stand up, gojo and geto exchanged a quick, knowing glance. they could sense your need to break the moment, to reestablish some distance after the vulnerability that had been revealed.
gojo pushed himself up after you, his grin now more gentle than playful. âyeah, letâs head back,â he agreed, his voice soft yet understanding. geto got up as well, his hand lingering on your shoulder for a second longer before he dropped it, the reassuring smile still on his face. âwe still have class tomorrow,â he reminded playfully.
geto's eyes caught sight of his sweatshirt hanging loosely over your shoulders, and his expression softened even more. with a gentle shake of his head, he stepped closer, his hands already moving to adjust it. âyou should wear this properly,â he murmured, his tone filled with that familiar mix of fondness and care. âdon't want you catching a cold, do we?â
he carefully slipped the sleeves over your arms, his touch gentle but firm as he pulled it snug around you. he took an extra moment to make sure it fit comfortably, his fingers brushing lightly against your shoulders. âthere,â he said with a satisfied nod, his smile growing as he looked at you. âbetter, right?â
the gesture was small but filled with the kind of quiet affection that spoke louder than words, leaving no doubt in your mind that, even in the simplest actions, geto's care for you ran deep. as geto tugged the sleeves of the sweatshirt into place and adjusted it around you, gojo watched the exchange quietly, his gaze flicking between you both.
he couldn't help but notice the tenderness in getoâs touch, the way he took the time to ensure the hoodie fit perfectly around you. the gesture was subtle, a silent expression of care and connection.
he could see the effect it had on you, the way you subtly relaxed under getoâs touch, a small smile tugging at your lips. gojo couldnât help but feel a pang of something he couldnât quite identify.
as you turned to face the descent, a heavy sigh escaped your lips, the thought of trekking down the hill already wearing you out. âugh, i canât believe we have to walk all the way down,â you groaned, rubbing your face with your hands in mock despair.
gojo chuckled softly at your reaction, catching up beside you. âcome on, itâs not that bad,â he teased, but the glimmer in his eyes suggested he found your frustration endearing.
geto, ever the considerate one, stepped closer and gently squeezed your shoulder. âif youâre really that tired, we can take it slow,â he offered, his voice warm and patient. âor, you know, we could always carry you,â he added with a playful smirk, clearly enjoying the opportunity to tease you just a bit.
your exaggerated sigh and whine about the walk were met with gojoâs amused chuckle, his eyes sparkling with playful understanding.
âyouâre so dramatic,â he teased, his tone light, âas if a little walk is too much for you.â
getoâs gentle offer to take it slow or carry you was made with a sincere concern for your tiredness, and he tacked on the playful comment, clearly enjoying himself. his smirk hinted at his mischievousness, but you knew he was only half-joking.
you turned to them with a dramatic huff, hands on your hips as you eyed them both expectantly. âalright, so which one of you is going to be a gentleman and carry me down?â you asked, raising an eyebrow, demanding.
gojo and geto exchanged a quick glance, both of them trying and failing to conceal the grins that were pulling at the corners of their lips. they knew you were being playful, putting on a dramatic display to get your way, and they both knew theyâd willingly play along.
gojo stepped closer, putting on an air of mock-exasperation. âoh, you and your demands,â he teased, his eyes sparkling with playful fondness. âdonât you know princesses should be carried on their princeâs strong arms?â
geto chuckled at gojoâs playfully exaggerated response, watching the two of you banter. he couldnât help but join in, his eyes glittering with mirth. âthatâs true,â he agreed, his grin widening. âprincesses shouldnât have to walk on such lovely little legs when they have princes to carry them.â
he took a step closer, his own eagerness to play along evident, his voice laced with a hint of anticipation. âso i guess that means neither of us can resist the call of chivalry, huh?â you straightened up, placing a hand on your hip and lifting your chin like a royal decree was about to be made. âalright, peasant,â you declared, putting on your best princess voice from centuries past, âcarry me on your back, and make haste!â
with a dramatic flourish, you patted geto's back as if commanding him into service, a playful glint in your eyes as you stifled a laugh. gojo and geto both burst into quiet laughter at your haughty princess command, clearly amused by your overdramatic attempt at regal authority.
geto, playing along with theatrical flair, quickly dipped into a low, exaggerated bow, his hand over his heart. âas you wish, my delightful little princess,â he responded, his tone dripping with mock subservience. without warning, he quickly stepped in front of you, grabbing your legs and effortlessly hoisting you up onto his back, holding you securely with strong, steady hands.
as the three of you began your descent down the hill, the cool night air was refreshing against your skin. the path was well-trodden and easy to navigate, flanked by the soft, undulating grass of the field below. the grass field stretched out like a sea of green, dotted occasionally with wildflowers that added splashes of color to the landscape.
the distant city lights twinkled like stars on the horizon, creating a warm, ambient glow that contrasted with the dark, expansive sky above. the serene, peaceful atmosphere was broken only by the soft rustling of the grass and the occasional chirp of nocturnal insects.
as you made your way down, the gentle slope of the hill provided a smooth, relaxed descent. the night was clear, with the moon casting a soft, silvery light over the surroundings, making the walk both picturesque and tranquil. the cool breeze carried with it a sense of calm, adding to the overall peacefulness of the moment.
the atmosphere around the three of you was a picture-perfect moment of tranquility as you made your way down the hill, the landscape bathed in the silvery light of the moon.
gojo strode along beside you and geto, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his jeans, his gaze occasionally drifting from the landscape to you, seated comfortably on getoâs back. his eyes were soft, his lips curled into a subtle smile. geto, meanwhile, was enjoying the feeling of you on his back, your warmth and weight a comfortable presence as he navigated the downward slope.
as you reached the bottom of the hill, you gave geto a playful squeeze, your voice light but with a hint of genuine reluctance. âyou know, now that iâm all comfy on your back, iâm not so sure i want to walk to the dorm anymore,â you said with a teasing tone.
as you squeezed geto playfully, your words filled with both lightheartedness and genuine reluctance, he let out a low laugh, his back rumbling faintly beneath you. he kept his grip on your legs steady, his hands warm against your skin.
âoh, so youâre going to be a spoiled princess and demand to be carried the rest of the way?â he teased, his voice filled with playfulness and amusement, âitâs not that far, princess. you could at least walk the last bit.â
you shook your head with a playful smile, resting your cheek comfortably against geto's back. ânope,â you murmured softly, your voice muffled but clear. "iâm perfectly comfy here. i think iâll just enjoy the ride until we get to the dorm."
geto chuckled at your stubborn refusal, continuing to carry you despite the lighthearted bickering. you were warm and cozy, pressed against his back, and he couldnât deny that there was a certain charm to the current situation.
âoh, so youâre just going to hog my back the whole way,â he teased, a note of playfulness in his tone. âand what if i get tired of hauling your spoiled princess butt the rest of the way?â you chuckled softly, snuggling closer against his back. âoh, you wonât get tired,â you teased back. âwith all those muscles of yours, itâd be pretty shameful if you couldn't carry a little weight. iâm just making sure you get to show off those muscles of yours.â
a small grin tugged at the corner of geto's lips at your teasing. he chuckled as he felt you snuggle closer against his back, your words stirring a competitive spark in him.
âoh, so thatâs what youâre doing,â he responded, his tone dripping with mock-indignation. âwhat a spoiled little princess.â he adjusted his grip on your legs, hoisting you up slightly to ensure a more secure hold.
as the three of you continued walking, the light banter between you and geto carried on. he chuckled at your response, his heart feeling a slight flutter at your casual affection.
gojo, walking beside you both, listened to the soft back-and-forth banter. he could see the playfulness and affection between you and geto, and despite the mild sting of something unfamiliar in his chest, he couldnât help being glad to see getoâs guard drop so easily and naturally around you.
he chuckled under his breath, his eyes flickering between the two of you. âyouâre both incorrigible,â he teased, shaking his head. âsuguru's going to end up with a sore back by the time we get to the dorm.â you raised your eyebrows playfully at gojo, giving him a smirk. âwell, i didnât see you volunteering to carry me,â you replied, your tone light, âso, you donât really get a say in this. suguruâs the one whoâs earning all the glory right now.â
as the banter continued, gojoâs eyes flickered to geto, his expression tinged with affectionate mockery. he knew geto was enjoying every second of this, playing the role of your personal chariot without complaint.
he felt another pang in his chest as he watched you cling to geto, a mix of emotions he couldnât quite name swirling in his gut. he tried to ignore it, focusing instead on keeping the lighthearted banter going.
the three of you walked through the empty streets, the world wrapped in the stillness of three in the morning. the cityâs usual hum was replaced by the soft glow of streetlights, casting gentle shadows that danced around your feet. laughter drifted between you, light and unburdened, as if the night itself had been holding its breath just to witness this moment of pure, unguarded joy.
you rested comfortably on getoâs back, your arms loosely wrapped around his neck. his steps were steady, each one a silent promise of support, and you could feel the warmth of his quiet laughter vibrate through your own chest. beside you, gojo walked with a carefree ease, his presence as bright and effervescent as the stars that dotted the night sky above. every now and then, heâd throw a playful nudge at geto or toss a teasing remark your way, drawing out your sleepy giggles that lingered in the cool night air.
the moon watched over you, a silent guardian of your little trio, its silvery light bathing the world in a soft, dreamlike glow. the cool breeze whispered through the trees, carrying with it the scent of grass and the faint promise of morning, yet the three of you lingered in this serene slice of time, as if the dawn could wait just a little longer.
beneath your light-hearted banter, there was an unspoken understanding between gojo and getoâa quiet vow that settled in their hearts as they looked at you nestled so comfortably on getoâs back. they saw the softness in your eyes, the vulnerability you often tried to hide behind sarcasm and dramatics, and they knew. they knew that more than anything, you deserved the kind of love that was steady, gentle, and unwavering. a love that would cradle your heart through every midnight adventure, every shared laugh, and every silent moment where words were unnecessary.
you didnât notice the fleeting exchange of glances between them, the silent promise etched in their eyes. but as you finally approached your dorm, the walls of your tiredness gave way to a sense of peace. you were surrounded by a warmth that went beyond the physical, a warmth that felt like home in the company of the two who had somehow become your everything.
and as they watched you start to drift off, your head resting lightly against getoâs shoulder, they made a vowâto be the ones whoâd always carry you when you were too tired to walk, to share in your laughter and chase away your fears, and to love you in the way you deserved: gently, endlessly, and with all the quiet strength they could muster. it was a promise woven into the fabric of the night, delicate and unbreakable, as eternal as the stars above.

The cool night air does little to soothe the storm taking place in your mind. Though the doubts come less often, you canât shake the constant âwhat ifsâ that seem to plague your mind.
Night after night, your mind is a constant turmoil thatâs leaving you with dark circles under your eyes that your boyfriend is not oblivious to. Of course he asks whether youâre okay, but you canât even answer that question for yourself, how are you meant to answer him?
Like a cycle, you wonder if youâre broken.
You wonder if maybe, just maybe, in another life, in another world, in another timeline, maybe you could have prevented this whole ordeal. Maybe you could have taken less missions and been the rock he needed. Maybe you could have reached out to Satoru to get his help in supporting Suguru.
With a sigh, you lean over the railing of the balcony outside your bedroom just a few halls down from the cult, rubbing your hands over your face in exasperation.
You know thereâs no use in looking back on what could have been.
Youâre happy now, after all. Youâre happy, right?
You have two daughters now and you still have Suguru, your entire world revolves around those three.
Yet even now after a few months with them, you never found a sense of normalcy. You feel as though you wander the halls avoiding the reality of Suguruâs new occupation, shutting yourself out of the happenings around you.
Leaning further over the railing, you stare down at the grass below you, damp from the prior dayâs rain. It glistens beneath the moonlight, each drop of dew sparkling in the same way Suguruâs eyes do when he spots you.
The dark circles beneath his eyes slowly faded, all the while yours darkened. Suguru is a smart man, heâs no fool to the way his lifestyle is slowly breaking you just as your old lifestyle had broken him.
You arenât meant for one another, itâs the cold and harsh reality of the world around you. Thereâs no world where life is perfect and you and Satoru were there when he needed you most, calming the tempest raging around him. Thereâs no world where you left Jujutsu Tech to pursue normal careers and live happily ever after.
The cruel reality of life is that there is only one world, and itâs a world where you canât be happy with those you love most.
Itâs that same cruel reality that plagues you with images of blood dripping down old theater seats, pained screams surrounding you, all while youâre rooted in place, numb.
âNana and Mimi said I might find you out here,â your boyfriend hums, coming up behind you. You donât move, your gaze steady as it stays tied to the flora below you. âI didnât mean for you to get tied up in my work, angel.â
You swallow hard, letting out a shaky breath. You canât say for sure how long youâve been out here but given how high the moon has risen, it must be hours at this point. Time doesnât pass all the same when your thoughts rage within your mind.
You wonder how many hours itâs been since Suguru didnât think twice about killing a follower. She had no longer been of use to him, her pockets emptied, her begging all for naught as a curse with little more power than a flyhead latched to her and began to tear at her skin.
Your knuckles go white as you grip at the railing, the thought too fresh in your mind, the sight too horrific. Your stomach churns and you close your eyes, swallowing down bile in your throat as you fail to keep the feeling of wretching from rising in your throat.
Nanako and Mimiko, the two young girls rescued by Suguru who youâve come to see as your own daughters, had ushered you away from the sight upon seeing your horrified figure. How they were able to withstand the sight so easily while it was enough to claw the very contents of your stomach straight from your organs, you donât know.
Suguru takes another step towards you, patient as ever, as his hand finds your back. He moves his palm up and down your spine soothingly and the action calms your raging stomach finally as you loosen your grip on the railing and rub your hands roughly over your face again.
When you still donât say anything, Suguru speaks up again.
âIâm breaking you, arenât I?â
Slowly, you find the courage to meet his gaze.
His expression is solemn. His hair is worn up in a half bun and navy robes drape over his body. It suits him in a way his position as the head of a cult does not. Suguru was the kindest of you all. He lacked Satoruâs narcissism, Shokoâs nonchalance, and your self-doubt.
So why, all these months later, is it him youâre staring at, unbeknownst to the blood that stains his white collar?
You donât know what to say. Any words, any explanation you could possibly have of what youâre feeling died several months ago.
September of 2007, to be exact.
Your lip trembles, your eyes burn, but your tears wonât fall. You have nothing left to give.
Suguru mutters a curse under his breath, taking your hands so carefully, so tenderly, in his own that it almost brings you back to the day when he first asked to take you out for a coffee.
It all seems like a lifetime away now, but his touch eases your doubt for the briefest of moments as youâre transported back to a moment so dear to you.
Should you still hold it so close to your heart given where you are now?
Maybe itâs all a pathetic attempt at holding onto the fragments of what once was.
The room is silent as Suguru leads you to the bed, gently urging you to sit at its edge as he follows suit, examining your eyes. Theyâre distant, just as your mind is, lost in a sea of thoughts thatâs grown so familiar you can traverse it without a map, without so much as even a north star. Yet that same sea doesnât seem to have an end. There is no beach to wash up on in the mornings when the thoughts subside, there is no lighthouse to guide you out.
Youâre lost.
âSweetheart,â Suguru urges quietly, moving a hand so softly, so quietly, up to your cheek that you arenât certain this is all real. It almost feels like a dream.
A nightmare in which you canât wake up.
âYou werenât meant to see that,â Suguru sighs, his eyes flickering shut as he leans his forehead against yours. He knows youâre listening, this is far from the first time heâs found you in such a state, and far from the last, too.
This is the worst itâs been in a long while, though.
He knows you keep yourself occupied with homeschooling the girls and taking care of them when he cannot, but he sees now that it isnât enough to stave off the thoughts that scare you the most.
Little do you know, itâs those thoughts that terrify him to his very core.
He knows this isnât a world for you. He knows you stay for him, for Nanako and Mimiko.
He also knows you stay out of fear. Fear of losing him again, fear of seeing him spiral.
Fear that someday, if you were to return to Jujutsu Tech, you may have to kill him.
Suguru wouldnât dare in a million years to bring you harm, thereâs no world where he wouldnât allow you to end him, however he wouldnât wish that upon you. Not now, not ever. Not even if you grew to resent him, because if thereâs one thing he knows and believes to his very soul, itâs that your love for him never waned.
As news broke of the events in the village, your words differed from those of others who tried to contact him.
As Satoru asked if it was true, as Shoko wondered what was in the water at the village, you only asked him to come home. You told him you were worried. You told him you loved him. You told him that together you could fix things.
His eyes flicker open as he admires your features, his breath fanning your face as he holds you like youâre all he knows.
âI need you to know something.â His voice is barely a whisper, loud enough for only you to hear. âI love you. More than anything, angel.â
Your hands finally move forward, clinging to his robe-covered thighs.
âBut I canât let myself be the one that breaks you. I canât stand by and watch as you fall apart for me.â His voice is low, calm, but doesnât carry his usual confidence. He sighs, his strikingly gorgeous eyes trailing down to your hands gripping to him for purchase.
He canât stand it. Canât stand the way his lifestyle has turned you into someone you struggle to recognize in a mirror.
Youâre still as stunning and gorgeous as the day he met you and he still loves you more than life itself, but the bright look in your eyes is gone. Itâs been gone for months now and heâs been fighting to admit it to himself.
Because to admit that you arenât yourself anymore is to admit that Suguru has broken you, and neither of you are prepared to face that reality, even right now as it stares you in the face.
Why is this cruel reality so beautiful? With long, flowing raven hair and kind eyes that reflect an unspoken adoration that no words can truly do justice to.
âI love you, Suguru,â you barely manage to whisper the words, your voice broken and laid bare before him just as your soul is.
âI love you too, angel, and thatâs why I think I need to let you go.â His voice doesnât just lack confidence this time around, it wavers as he struggles to keep his emotions in check to be strong for your sake.
Your lip trembles, your jaw tensing as your muscles clench from the effort to keep your sobs at bay. âWhere am I meant to go, Sugu?â
He kisses your forehead softly. âYou never did anything wrong, darling. Go find Satoru. Heâll help you.â
You stare down at your hands, shaking as you cling to him. âI canât. Iâm your accomplice. Iâll be killed.â
Suguru hadnât seen the news that you were sentenced to death by the higher-ups, too preoccupied with his cult. Heâs no stranger to his actions having consequences, but he had been too caught up in his love for you to realize that he had done the one thing he vowed to never do.
Heâd hurt you.
Hell, heâd trapped you. Trapped you here, with him, with nowhere left to go.
Still, you donât resent him or hate him as you should, you show him and the girls only kindness and endless love.
He hates himself for it.
He leans back, staring out at the balcony as he reaches a hand beneath his robes and pulls out a box of cigarettes. A habit he never managed to kick.
As he lights it and slips the box over to you, watching as you take the nicotine and allow him to light it with practiced fingers, he realizes this whole situation is painfully familiar. Like clockwork, youâre reliving the night from the theater.
As a puff of smoke rises into the air before him, his chest rises and falls, pulling his robes taut as he takes a deep breath. He allows the nicotine to calm him, to silence his mind for even a moment.
As you follow suit, you feel yourself coming back down to earth. Itâs a fleeting moment, one that will soon be masked by numbness, but youâre grateful nonetheless when you finally meet Suguruâs gaze. He doesnât feel like a distant memory that you long for, heâs here before you and he serves as your reminder of why you chose him in the first place.
You love Suguru Geto. Through and through, no matter what it means. No matter what it makes you.
Even if you donât like the person itâs made you.
Even if you donât recognize the person itâs made you.
âIâm where I want to be, Sugu,â you whisper in your clarity, staring down at the singed paper balanced delicately between your fingers.
His eyes examine you, taking in your shaking figure, the way your eyes seem to sink into your skull. Heâs no stranger to the fact that you struggle to eat at times as well.
âIf thatâs the truth,â he begins, âthen you need to tell me how to be better.â
Sadness washes over your expression. âYouâre perfect for me,â you tell him with a wry smile.
âThen tell me why you're looking at me like that.â
You bring a hand up to meet his face, the faintest trace of stubble scratching your palm. âI think in another world I would have liked to work with you at a little shop.â
His expression falls as he averts his gaze.
All through his own carelessness, heâs created a world where your desires are impossible. You wonât ever know the peace you crave, simply because at your core, at the end of it all, you long for him more than you long to be at Jujutsu Tech, more than you long to have a simple office job.
His love for you will be your undoing, and he made no effort to prevent it.
Heâs too late to save you.
âI would have liked that, my love,â he assures you softly, making an effort to keep his voice even as he struggles with his own inner turmoil.
âI think we would have had a beautiful little plant store.â
His heart sinks further as you describe the peaceful ideal world youâve created in your head. Of course you would choose something as beautiful as your heart.
He wonders if the reason you always seem distant is because youâre there, at that plant shop, in your own little world in your mind.
He wonders if your favorite flowers line the walls and vines grow across the ceiling. He wonders if the sun shines through the large open window and glimmers in your eyes, a smile spread across your lips. He wonders if you have a little apartment directly above the shop decorated with plants youâve propagated yourself that prosper from your love and care just as he does.
âPlants, hm? That suits us.â
The faintest of smiles pulls at the corner of your lips. Suguru could be imagining it, for all he knows.
âWould plants make you happier?â
Your eyes fall again to the cigarette slowly emitting smoke in your fingers. The smoke curls and billows as it rises in the air.
âIâm happy with you,â you mumble.
He sighs. âIf it were another day, I might believe you.â He shakes his head as you mask your pain. âHow long were you out on the balcony?â
Your mouth opens and closes once, twice, three times. Like a goldfish staring out of a tank at a world it doesnât know.
Suguru hums. âThe⊠incident,â he begins, choosing his words carefully, âwas four hours ago, my love.â
You let out a shaky breath as you process his words. As if to spite the nicotine calming your nerves, the ocean of turmoil that had subsided begins to encroach on you again as you feel your chest tighten and your throat close.
âLook at me,â Suguru tells you, taking your chin between his fingers as he gently points your attention back to him. âLook at me and tell me what you need from me,â he whispers.
As if written in the stars, it clicks suddenly. The sea that rages and storms within you may not have the respite you so desired in the form of a beach, but rather in the form of an island, something you had never considered. Itâs not a traditional island and the lighthouse that stands tall on top of it isnât a traditional one either.
Suguru is your island and lighthouse. While the world he longs to change, the world heâs pulled you into with him doesnât allow for the ideal you desire, he can still keep you afloat and guide you through the dark.
âThis⊠this world isnât for me,â you begin, unable to tear your gaze from the beauty that is your boyfriend. âBut neither was Jujutsu Tech,â you try to assure him. You canât bear the thought that someday Gojo, Shoko, and Nanami could all be the lifeless corpses youâre forced to stare at just as Haibara once was.
You just need a sense of calm. A sense that the life you live isnât one filled with regret and shame. One where you have a husband, kids, maybe even a pet. âCan we get a house?â
âA house?â Suguru asks, eyes widened with moderate surprise, but his expression softens as the realization that you just want things to be normal would beg for a house. Of course, he knows you were shaken after youâd seen him kill a member of the cult earlier, so the separation between work and home would surely be good for you, for him, for your relationship. âI think we can make that happen, angel.â
Itâs fleeting, gone as fast as it came, but your eyes glimmer with hope. âYeah?â
Suguru nods, his head tilting briefly as he smiles. âWeâll fill it with plants, how does that sound?â
âI think Iâd like that.â
He still hates that heâs trapped you, but heâll move mountains to make you happy, and if a house will make you happy, heâll buy you a house.
Thereâs a bittersweet taste in his mouth at the idea that youâll stay with him for something so simple when heâs ruined your world. Itâs a taste so foul it rivals even that of the curses he eats.
For you, though, the taste is bearable.
Standing in your new place mere weeks later, Suguruâs attention turns to you, sitting in one of the very few chairs you had managed to unpack as sun filters through the windows. You look ethereal as ever and relief courses through him as heâs able to get a good look at you.
The dark circles adorning your eyes are beginning to fade, despite the exhaustion that courses through both of your bones. That exhaustion comes with the idea of moving, he supposes, but as you turn your attention from the two girls running circles around your chair to land on Suguru, he feels like maybe he can still salvage your happiness.
His smile is mirrored on your own features as your lighthouse pulls you further from the ocean that once threatened to drown you.
You canât ignore his actions, but it also canât be ignored that you have never once moved to stop him. At the end of it all, you will always be an accomplice to Suguru Geto.
As the girls run from room to room, allowing you a moment with him, Suguru slides down on the chair beside you, encircling his arms around your waist. He kisses your forehead, your nose, lingering on each for a moment, before dipping his head down to meet your lips. He moves a hand from your waist to tilt your chin up to him.
Itâs soft, genuine, full of his undying love for you. You return it with fervor, the most heâs seen from you in a long while, and it brings him a sense of ease.
He pulls back quietly, staring deeply into your eyes. Within his own striking irises swirls care, kindness, happiness, and a hint of guilt.
âI love you, darling. Always.â
âI love you too, Suguru.â
Your voice doesnât hold that familiar hollowness anymore and while you can only hope the glow of happiness you feel now isnât fleeting, reality will always come knocking at your door. There will always be another storm to rock the waves of your boat, to pull you back under.
Right now though, youâre okay.
You may truly never stop wondering if youâre broken. Itâs the reality of the world you live in now, one where you choose to ignore a big part of your life in a desperate attempt at seeking the fleeting flame of happiness with your lover.
Maybe itâs foolish to do such a thing, to push aside reality in hopes that you might find peace with Suguru, but the truth of your world is that thereâs no options left for someone like you.
The reality of the world is that youâll be forced to fight battles within your mind for the rest of your life.
Itâs not the reality you wanted, but itâs your life with Suguru and the girls. As your daughters come bounding down the stairs and throw themselves right into your and Suguruâs laps, excited giggles echoing along the walls, your heart swells.
It may be fleeting, but at this moment, you donât regret your decisions.

masterlist || nicotine dream - follow up

By all accounts, you should be scared. You should be breathing heavily, your heart pounding in your ears, wide-eyed at the carnage that surrounds you in the theater.Â
Yet⊠you arenât.
Youâre numb to it, numb to it all.
A body slumps to the floor in the row before you and all you can do is swallow the bile that threatens to upheave the contents of your stomach.
The presence behind you shouldnât bring you the ease that it does. Yet, heâs been the only constant in your life as of recent, and you canât bring yourself to hate him for what heâs done, even as a drop of blood runs down the side of your face. It isnât your own, of course. He wouldnât dare lay a hand on you.
You should have fought back against him, you should have protected everyone, but instead, you sat and watched. Maybe that makes you just as bad as it makes him. Maybe youâll be sentenced to death by the higher-ups as well, seen as an accomplice to his actions tonight.
You wonder if youâre broken.
The worn red fabric of the seats hides the bloodshed so well that with little effort, you could clean everything up. You could hide the nightâs calamity and go back home to Gojo, Ieiri, and Nanami. You could sweep this all under the rug, hide your trail, and blame it all on him.
Yet, you donât move to do that.
He sits only a few seats back, smoke drifting languidly from his cigarette. His eyes are glued to the screen, just as yours are. Thereâs a sort of dramatic irony to the kind words being spoken on-screen as a drama plays.
âCigarette?â
His voice is as sultry and kind as ever. You take a breath before you turn to look at him.
Suguru looks as beautiful as ever. His dark hair is up in a half-bun and the rest cascades down his shoulders, falling effortlessly over his collarbones. His eyes are sunken, tired, but thatâs not unusual for him as of late. Heâs wearing a deep blue sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. Itâs almost cruel of him to do so, he knows itâs your favorite outfit on him.
It tugs on your heart strings in ways you canât describe with words.
Your chest feels heavy, heart pounding suddenly against your rib cage, practically tearing its way out.
âYeah,â you respond, barely above a whisper. You know he canât hear it over the movie, but he reads your lips.
Long legs step over the chairs, descending the theater until he reaches your row. He pulls down the uncomfortable red seat, plopping down beside you. His cigarette hangs from his lips as he pulls a small box from his pocket. His sharp eyes watch your movements as you pull the cigarette from the cardboard.
âYou look tired,â he comments, leaning over to light the cigarette.
âI could say the same for you,â you respond neutrally, taking a drag from the nicotine sitting between your lips. You blink a couple of times as you let the relaxation wash over you, a temporary escape from the dark corners of your mind.
Then again, itâs all temporary. Every life saved, every âthank youâ or lack thereof, each one a fleeting moment forgotten in the grand scheme of things and instead replaced with the sight of your lost classmates. Your lost friends.
The sight of Haibara flashes through your mind and you turn your head from the screen, from the bloodied seats before you, your jaw trembling subtly.
Suguru notices your movement, setting a hand on your knee. Your brain tells you to pull away. It tells you heâs dangerous, but thereâs nothing more you want right now than to curl into his arms and feel his lips against your temple just as you had only a week ago.
So much has changed since then.
âDid it make you feel better?â You ask out of the blue, keeping your tone even as you steel yourself and push the image of your classmateâs body from your mind.
At the end of the day, his answer doesnât matter. Youâre surrounded by corpses in a theater. By all accounts, heâs already made his bed and youâre both laying in it here and now.
Suguru pauses, observing your expression. He canât gleam anything about how youâre feeling, beyond the underlying sadness in your tired eyes. That look has been there for a while now, though. He recognizes it all too well. The dark circles beneath your eyes are a shade so dark that concern plagues him, though he knows he has to play his cards right in this conversation if he wants to help you heal.
âI donât regret it,â he responds evenly, his thumb rubbing circles into your knee.
You bite your lip to prevent it from trembling. âThatâs not what I asked, Sugu.â
Youâre finally looking him in the eyes, for the first time in a week, for the first time since his return from the mission that sealed his fate as a curse-user.
Youâre as gorgeous as he remembers, perhaps more. Even with sunken eyes, glossy and sad, and your hair somewhat disheveled, he finds himself unable to stop the way he stares at your lips. He still yearns to call you his still.
âIt did, yes.â
Itâs a nail in the coffin. This isnât just a departure from Jujutsu Tech, heâs traveling into dangerous territory now, with malicious intent.
It should hurt to hear those words, it should be painful beyond belief. Yet, itâs not.
You think again that maybe youâre broken.
Silence hangs heavy over you both as you take a deep breath, processing his response.
âHowâs Satoru?â He asks calmly.Â
You swallow the bile rising in your throat. Itâs sour and you frown at the feeling. âHeâs been better. Heâs angry with you.â
âI figured,â he hums softly, a bleak smile pulling at his thin lips. âShoko?â
You take a long drag from the cigarette. âIâm not really sure,â you admit, avoiding his gaze now. You feel guilty for the fact that youâve drifted apart from both Nanami and Ieiri, but the entire faculty seems to be drowning. None of you have time to yourselves and when you do, youâre locked away in your dorms.
âAnd you?â
You pause. You donât know how you are.
No, thatâs a lie. When Suguru reached out to invite you to a movie, deep down you knew this would happen. Maybe not the pile of bodies, but this conversation. From the moment you hesitantly typed see you there, you knew it would all lead to you crumbling in his arms.
Suguru is your lighthouse, your beacon of hope and safety. Your home. You love him too much to let him go.
âI miss you.â
He doesnât miss a beat as he responds, âI miss you too.â
You canât help it this time, your lip trembles and your chest heaves with a sob. âItâs all so fucked without you, Sugu. I donât think-â Your voice betrays you, cutting you off as another sob wracks your body.
âItâs okay, sweetheart,â he hums, resting the cigarette between his soft lips as he moves his hand from your knee to wrap his arms around you. He braces himself as he lifts you up out of your seat, away from the armrest so that he can cradle you in his lap.
With a final drag from his cigarette, he puffs the smoke into the air and puts it out on the plastic armrest beside him, leaving a melted circular indentation behind. It doesnât matter, in the grand scheme of the mess that is the theater.
His nimble fingers slip your own cigarette from your fingers as you cry into his chest. He taps his finger once against it, his other arm holding you tightly to his chest.
His warmth is so familiar and brings a sense of comfort you havenât felt since the day the news broke.
The corpses of 112 of the village inhabitants were found dead.
Like alcohol over an open wound, the thought stings. You donât agree with what he did, but⊠you suppose there is a reason youâre here.
âWhy did you do it?â You swallow a sob, taking a deep breath to steady your breathing when you finally begin to steady your emotions. You shift in his lap to straddle him, letting your hands rest on his built chest.
He leans back in the chair, which reclines slightly with his weight. Taking a drag from the cigarette that was yours, he lets his hand rest on your hip. âYou know the answer to that question.â
Of course you do. Youâve been thinking it. Nanamiâs been thinking it.
Ever since Haibaraâs passing, itâs been plaguing you all. Nanami feels he failed Haibara. You feel you failed them both as their superior. Yet Suguru⊠heâs been feeling the effects since Amanaiâs passing. Heâs been slowly spiraling and despite your best efforts, itâs clear this was inevitable.
âThatâs not what I mean. What was the breaking point?â
Suguru blinks calmly, holding the cigarette to your lips to take a drag. âI exorcized the curse,â he begins, âyet they demanded I kill two young girls.â His expression shifts from neutrality for the first time in the night to one of disgust. âShit, you should have seen them. Caged like goddamn animals, two innocent children.â
You try to keep an impartial expression, but your eyes widen, betraying your shock and distaste. If he can find the right words, Suguru wonders if maybe, just maybe, he might find you back in his arms for longer than this conversation.
âTheyâre sorcerers,â he tells you, âbut they werenât responsible for the curse.â
Your fingers grip at his sweatshirt as you wrestle with your emotions. You want to hug him, bring him the comfort his eyes silently beg for, but thereâs so much going through your mind, so many questions to ask.
âThere were innocent people there,â you state blankly.
âWere there?â He challenges you.
Your brow twitches, youâre not sure what to make of the question. It seems obvious that there would be. âOf course,â you respond, lips parting.
Suguru takes a long drag of the cigarette, putting it out in the same fashion as the previous one before dropping the stub to the floor. âAre they innocent for calling on us with no regard for the sorcerer bodies piling up?â When you donât respond, he continues. âAre they innocent for standing by and allowing two terrified children to be caged like animals?â
Your gaze drifts to the side, melancholy swirling in your tired eyes. Suguru admires you as he lets you think, resting his hand that had been holding the cigarette on your thigh. He longs to bring you closer, to kiss your soft lips, but he refrains out of fear of ruining the conversation.
âI suppose that means Iâm not innocent either,â you mumble, eyes darting to the severed leg that sits on the ground behind Suguru. Youâre forced to swallow bile again at the sight, a shiver running up your spine. Youâve grown numb to the sight of death, but your stomach certainly hasnât.
âPerhaps not,â he agrees, his deep and observant eyes taking in the minute twitches of muscles in your jaw.
With one hand firmly keeping distance between you despite the compromising position youâre in, you lift your other hand to rub your face, sighing. When you drop your hand back to his chest, he offers you a small smile. Itâs just like him to keep smiling and offer solace for those in need in spite of his own turmoil.
âDo you disagree with my actions?â
âYes,â you tell him firmly, not hesitating for a moment.
âWhy didnât you stop me, then?â
Your lips part, brow knit tightly as you spare a glance at the bloody scene around you. Why didnât you stop him? Youâre asking yourself the same question.
âIâll ask again, my dear. Why didnât you stop me?â
You want to vomit. You donât agree with him. You donât want to kill people. Why are you here?
All you can do is stare helplessly at him. Stare at his sharp and beautiful features, the way he looks at you with such admiration, the way his hands feel at home on your body.
âI donât know,â you whisper. Youâre almost certain he doesnât hear you as the movie playing behind you picks up in volume and music plays.
Suguru attempts to pull you closer, but you keep your arms firm, keeping distance between the both of you. He doesnât dare push it, push you. Not when he feels your resolve crumbling before him. Maybe itâs selfish of him, but he doesnât care to be selfless any longer. He wants you, he wants you by his side.
âThereâs a purpose to this all,â he tells you, raising his voice over the movieâs music. Heâs running out of time to get through to you. Running out of time before the carnage is spotted by employees and Jujutsu Tech is informed. He already failed to convince Satoru to join him, but he knew that would happen already, the snowy-haired sorcerer was far too set in his ways.
âSatoru told me,â you say all too quietly, but he reads your lips.
âThen why are you here, my love?â
âI-â you pause, the words die in your throat. You canât say what youâre thinking, it pains you physically as you turn your gaze to the melted hole in the arm of the chair, desperate to focus on anything that isnât him.
âYou can tell me,â he coaxes you, âeven if it hurts me.â
You would never hurt Suguru.
âI miss you,â you tell him again, eyes brimming with tears now. The words are on the tip of your tongue. You know it, he knows it.
âI miss you too, sweetheart.â
Heâs so patient, so calm, as he always is. You know no matter what conclusion you come to, heâll accept it. He would let you leave, though you think you wish he wouldnât.
The music in the background fades as the movie comes to an end, much more somber, quiet music taking over as the credits roll. The light from the screen dims, leaving the both of you in near-darkness. Suguru is running out of time with you as the movie nears its final moments. Itâs only a matter of time now before staff arrive and the police and Jujutsu Tech are informed.
âI think I still love you, Sugu,â you whimper. You canât hold back your tears any longer as finally they spill, sobs wracking your body.
Suguru shushes you softly, relieved when finally you give in and allow him to hold you to his chest. He runs his hand gently along your spine, soothing you as you tremble in his muscular arms.
âI never stopped loving you. I never will,â he whispers. He buries his face into the crook of your neck, closing his eyes as he relishes the moment. He missed you more than he ever thought possible, and the idea of losing you again when heâs already lost his best friend brings with it a sense of hopelessness heâs grown all too familiar with.
You clutch at his sweatshirt desperately as the reality of your situation crashes down on you. You want out. You want out of the world of Jujutsu sorcery and curses, you want out of the world where those you care about die.
Yet⊠you donât want to leave with Nanami. You donât want to work a nine to five job like heâs expressed interest in. You donât want to stay with Gojo, you know heâs too dedicated to Jujutsu Tech. You donât want to eliminate humans from the world like Suguru. But you donât want to live without him either.
In a matter of a week itâs like your whole world came crashing down and you sit in limbo.
Suguruâs eyes flicker to the screen and he sighs. The credits are reaching their end as more and more logos show and he knows heâs nearly out of time. He canât face Satoru again if thatâs who they send after him, not right now with you here in his arms. Heâs running out of time with you.
âI want you by my side,â he tells you softly.
You raise your head from his shoulder and he gently wipes your tear-streaked cheeks. âYou canât ask that of me.â
His calm eyes observe you carefully. âTalk to me, then. Why are you here?â
Your lips part, hesitant, but you manage to choke out whatâs on your mind. âI feel lost.â
âYou donât want to be at the school anymore,â he fills in the blank. He knew that already, before he chose how he wanted to live, back when he was still a student, you had expressed a desire to leave.
âI donât want to- to kill people, Sugu.â
âI wouldnât ask that of you.â
You sigh, chewing on your lip. You inadvertently find yourself glancing down at his lips, pursed as he waits for you to make a decision.
âThen what are you asking of me?â
Suguru pauses, he hadnât thought much of his answer to this question. He knew you wouldnât want to bring harm to people, youâre too kind. He lifts his head slightly, staring into your eyes, a tempest of uncertainty thundering within them. As his lips brush yours, he can only hope, pray, that youâll allow him to close the distance, that youâll give in to him.
âI could use help looking after the girls while Iâm away.â
You pause, taking in his words. Thereâs still a lick of uncertainty to this whole situation. Your life has lost its direction, but the one thing you find yourself drawn to is him. Although you disagree with his methods, heâs right.
You are here.
You didnât stop him from wreaking havoc on the theater.
You donât hate him for what heâs done.
You feel his pain. Yours just manifests in a different way.
Like a switch finally flips, you lean forward, pressing your lips to his. Your fear, your pain, even if only for a moment, it all dissolves as youâre consumed with him, with Suguru, your lover.
He slides a hand to the back of your head, pulling you into him as he deepens the kiss, passion overflowing from the movement of his lips on yours. His tongue swipes your lower lip and with a quiet whimper, you give him access to deepen the kiss. It gives him the chance to say everything his words donât.
He parts from you, eyes flickering wildly over your features with nothing short of adoration in those beautiful deep irises of his. He pants lightly, catching his breath as he cups your cheeks.
âWe need to leave, angel.â
You swallow hard.
This is it, thereâs no turning back now.
Slowly, you nod.
âI love you, Suguru.â
âI love you, too.â
Hand in hand, you escape out the theaterâs emergency exit. As the sun sets over the horizon, you spare a glance at your boyfriend.
You hadnât noticed in the dim lighting but blood coats his sweats, dried into the gray fabric. His hair still drips with fresh blood and your breathing hitches when you see the way his keen eyes follow your gaze. He doesnât seem at all phased by it.
Your heart pounds in your chest as you realize that he has bloody handprints covering his shoulders. Shaky hands lift to stare at your crimson palms. Before you can overthink your decision, Suguru gently takes your hand in his.
âI need a cigarette,â you whisper shakily, thankful when he complies. He lights it for you and as you take a drag, you feel your nerves calm.
You wonder what life would have been like had you met him at a normal college.
As news breaks of the carnage in the theater and youâre labeled as a curse-user too, you wonder if you have any right to wish for things to be different.
You wonder again if youâre broken, but as two young girls run up to meet you excitedly and hop into your boyfriendâs strong arms, you watch him with a small smile. Though he still looks exhausted, he seems happier.
For the first time in a week as youâre dragged into Suguruâs new home, you donât feel the crushing weight of uncertainty.
You donât regret your decision.

"even if no one else accepts you, I'll live with you"

Yeah I would also ignore his crimes for ten years ngl
I NEED more fluff sukuna I don't even care what it's aboutđ
You think sukuna is at his best when heâs like this: his body sprawled on top of yours, arms locked around your torso while his cheek stays smushed against your chest, half asleep from the feeling of one of your hands gently carding his hair, messing up the haphazardly styled locks. Your free hand scrolls through your phone, watching whatever videos social media suggests for you, while in the background, midday talk shows mumble softly.
Your hand moves down to gently rub the nape of his neck, where the buzzed hairs are growing a bit longer now. He shivers and burrows deeper against you, and you chuckle, âsorry, baby boy.â
âDonât call me that, and I know youâre not sorry,â he murmurs drowsily. You scratch your fingers there again, and he grumbles, âI will straight up kill you.â
âNot my fault the big bad sukuna is ticklish there,â you hum.
âI hate that word and you know that,â he hisses. âYouâre lucky Iâm comfortable, dickhead.â
âYou are comfortable,â you hum, resting your phone on your chest to press a kiss to the crown of his head, your arms wrapping around him. He curls in closer, and you chuckle softly. âMy cuddly man.â
âI hate when you talk to me.â
You snicker, only to be interrupted by the buzzing of your phone on your chest. You move your arms to answer it, and when you do, immediately, one of his massive paws comes up to grab one of them, pulling it back down. âNo.â
âBaby, itâs Choso, I have to answer-â
âNever mention my brother when Iâm comfortable,â he interrupts. âPet my hair more.â
âI will, after I answer this text-â
âNo.â He ruts his head against your hand in demand.
You sigh, but ultimately, youâre smiling as you plop your phone back on the couch next to you, settling in for the next god knows how many hours, one hand carding Sukunaâs pink locks, the other arm cradling him close.
âI love you, sukuna,â you whisper.
He hums in acknowledgment, but he presses a small kiss to your chest as a small âlove you tooâ back.

Toji doesnât question any of his jobs as long as the money heâs paid is good. Thatâs why he didnât question why someone was willing to pay ten million yen for the head of a twenty-something year old woman. He doesnât ask much details when heâs about to do a job, just the name and a picture of the person.
When Toji got your picture, he almost felt guilty for even looking at you without your permission. He had never seen someone so drop-dead gorgeous, and he felt tempted to decline the job, thinking that such pure blood couldnât be on his hands. But he knew your looks have nothing to do with this. With the little information he got, he knew you were a sorcerer. He never got if you were part of a clan or not, or any actual reason for your death, but they wanted you gone.
Toji thinks with his dick a lot, but this wasnât one of those instances. He felt bad, sure, but he wasnât going to turn down that much money for a woman he had never met. So he made a plan, and now he sits at a bar, drinking water as he waits for you to step into the place. With some help he figured out what your weekly routine is. And on Fridays you decide to go out for a drink. So he patiently waits for you to enter the place.Â
Time feels so slow as he glances at the door, waiting for you to step into the place. Itâs still quite early, but heâs been at the same spot for half an hour, not attempting to make conversation with anyone else. A couple of women have come up to him, trying to initiate something, but Toji shrugged them off. Heâs only looking for one person, and none of those women are nearly as stunning as you are.
âWaiting for someone?â The bartender asks, and Toji hums in response. He doesnât share any details though. Thereâs no need. Toji keeps looking at the door, and his eyes light up when the door opens and you walk through. Heâs a minute closer to getting the money he was promised.
His eyes follow your body as you immediately approach a table, walking over to your friends. You wear a little black dress that hugs your body extremely well, it almost makes the man forget why heâs there. You simply look stunning, even better than the picture he was shown, which he didnât think was possible. But he remembers why heâs here.
He didnât expect you to meet up with your friends, so he has to slightly change his plans. He tears his eyes off you when you look back, he hadnât noticed your friends had been looking at him and had begun to point at him. Great, now he just looks like a creep, however, he doesnât worry too much about it. Thereâs no need for formalities, really. He could just get you alone, kill you, and bring your body to the person that hired him. Thatâs what he does every single time but tonight he doesnât want to do it like that.Â
Someone so beautiful deserves a little bit more. Itâs a horrible mindset, but Toji is a horrible person.
âHey.â He hears, and he turns his head to look at you. Youâre smiling at him, and he wonders what youâre going to say. You know he was staring at you, yet you donât look like youâre about to call him out for it. Quite the opposite. âIs this seat taken?â
âNo, go ahead.â His voice is stern as he speaks. You notice how he holds a glass of water, or perhaps itâs straight vodka. Youâll never know because youâll never question it. He watches as you tell the bartender your drink of choice to start off the night. You look at the handsome man thatâs next to you before confidently saying,
âMy friends told me you were checking me out.â You tell him. Each year you get older and realize thereâs no point in holding back. You donât lose anything by telling him that you find him attractive. Worst he can do is reject you, âAnd I have to say, youâre very handsome.â
âHmm⊠I am?â He raises a brow while he turns to look at you. He licks his lips, once again looking over you. He brings his glass up to his lips and takes a sip, which is when you figure out that itâs water since he had no reaction to the liquid. âWhatâs your name, darling?â
You tell him your first name, which further confirms heâs got the right woman. You bat your eyelashes at him, hoping he introduces himself without you having to ask. As your glass is placed in front of you, he says, âThatâs a very beautiful name.âÂ
âWhatâs your name?â You end up asking when he doesnât introduce himself. You bring your drink up to your lips and begin to sip while you wait for the man to say something. He takes a long time to speak a word. Heâs debating if he should use his real name. It wouldnât be smart for him to do so, but in the end it wonât matter.Â
At the end of the night, youâll be dead.
âToji.â He answers. You smile at him as you think of what to say next. You really arenât interested in a conversation, in fact, you only want one thing from him. Of course, you wonât immediately just ask him to leave the place to have sex, youâll talk to him a bit more.
âI havenât seen you around here before, Toji.â You say, and the way that his name rolls off your tongue has him hooked. He feels his face get warm, and he can only imagine his cheeks getting a pinkish color, so he turns his face away from you. The lighting of the place isnât great, yet heâs scared that itâll be noticeable in the low light.Â
âYou come here a lot?â He asks, and you end up humming in response.Â
âEvery Friday night. Just to unwind with friends after a long week.â You share. He didnât know that detail. He doesnât usually ask for details, mainly because that makes his victims too human. Toji will do anything for money and he doesnât feel guilty. But having you tell him something as simple as that wonât make him feel his best about his job. âHow about you? Why did you decide to come here?â
âIâm new to the area, and saw this place.â He shares.Â
You two begin to converse and find out about each other. You tell him miniscule things about yourself, while he does the same. Majority of the things that he tells you donât seem genuine though. Itâs believable enough, but it just doesnât seem honest. Yet you donât care.Â
You get lost in insignificant conversation so much so that you donât feel two hours pass by. Youâve had a little too much to drink by then, and have gotten a bit too touchy with Toji. Your hands are on his arms, and you lightly slap it when he tells a joke that isnât all that funny. He finds himself laughing as well.
âHow about weâŠâ You begin to whisper in his ear. Tojiâs hands are on your waist, helping you maintain your balance as you stand. Instead of finishing your sentence, you begin to kiss Tojiâs face. Heâs forgetting about his task. Your lips finally press against his, and he allows himself to get lost in the soft skin. A complete stranger is kissing him, and his palms are getting unreasonably sweaty. Toji has had one night stands beforeâ Too many to count, but heâs never felt like this while kissing them. Maybe itâs because he knows that after this, itâll all be over.
He shouldnât even be thinking about sleeping with you, but when you say, âLetâs go back to my apartmentâ when you pull away from his lips, his mind is hazy and he hums in response. Maybe itâs your cursed technique or something similar that has such an effect on him. But he has to remember what he was hired to do. He wonât let some momentarily feeling get in the way of his prize.Â
After closing your tab, the two of you begin to walk to your apartment. Your place is not too far away, itâs a five minute walk from the bar. Which he already knew. You happily talk to him, and from your speech he can tell that youâre sobering up, but youâre not planning to stay sober for too long.Â
You get to your place, and he walks in, unsure of where to go next. You walk past him and go to the kitchen to grab two glasses of wine and open a bottle. You donât care to ask if he actually drinks. Youâll just pour two glasses, talk a bit more, and then have sex. At least thatâs what you think will happen.
âPlease, take a seat.â You tell him, and he awkwardly looks around before going to the couch and taking a seat. His eyes inspect the place, noticing how itâs a bit disorganized. Next to him is a pretty white dress that most likely was going to be your choice for the night. He notices how sheer it is and how small it looks, which makes him glad you chose the black dress. Had you worn that dress, he wouldâve died on the spot. You walk up to him with two glasses filled to the brim, âSorry for the mess. I wasnât expecting any guests.â
âItâs fine.â He responds, taking the glass from your hands. You take a seat right on his lap, after all, the plans you have with him involve more than just sitting on his lap. Thereâs no point in holding back. He feels his face get warm, and he distracts himself by looking at the glass of wine. âMan, youâre really trying to get me drunk.â
âI did overdo it a bit.â You tell him, taking a sip from your glass. He puts his glass down on the end table, his hands focusing on roaming through your body. âNot much of a drinker, now?âÂ
âAlcohol isnât really my thing.â He comments, his fingertips feathering over your thighs before they go up to the hem of your dress. His fingers begin to trace lazy circles on your skin, completely forgetting what heâs here to do. You end up putting your glass on the coffee table, focusing completely on him.Â
âHmm, so whatâs your thing?â You say, lightly biting down your bottom lip.Â
âPretty girls like you.â He responds, his lips placing a kiss on your jaw before his teeth begin to nibble on your earlobe. You smirk, your hands feeling the well built body that hides behind a thin black shirt. You get off his lap and get on your knees on the hardwood floor. God, heâd curse himself for being so dumb. He has a gun in his pants, and a pocketknife in his pocket. Yet he isnât thinking about that when youâre undoing his belt and pulling down his pants.Â
Your eyes glance at the gun, but you donât say anything about it, instead you smirk knowing that he hasnât noticed the fact that you know. Your hand wraps around his cock and you slowly begin to pump his length. âI hope Iâm special.â
âOh, you are.â He answers before your tongue begins to swirl around the tip of his cock. He watches as you do so, biting his bottom lip. Your hand keeps stroking his dick while your tongue keeps licking the tip of his cock, until you finally wrap your mouth around his dick.
Itâs too much for you to take it all, so you take as much as you can in your mouth, your hands moving the parts that you canât fit inside. You bob your head slowly, your eyes looking up at Toji who is clearly enjoying this. His cheeks are pink while he bites down on his lip. It makes you wonder if heâs touch-deprived or if youâre just really good at this.Â
âOh, fuckââ He ends up throwing his head back after awkwardly holding eye-contact with you for a couple of seconds. Heâll admit that you look better than ever while your mouth is wrapped around his cock, but looking at each other while he gets head is just awkward. Especially when he has very specific plans to kill you, and he wonât back down. Obviously, his plans have been pushed back. Heâll get his dick wet and then do it. As horrifying as it sounds.
You take your mouth off his cock, your tongue running down his shaft and going to his balls. Your mouth begins to suck on his balls while your hand pumps his cock. His eyes are rolling to the back of his head while you work your magic. Fuck, this isnât even supposed to be happening. But it is and heâs so close to coming.
Your tongue licks up to his tip, and your mouth wraps around his cock again. Your eyes once again focus on his face, although itâs thrown back as he grunts. âSâ good. Love your mouth.â
His cock twitches and he releases in your mouth. So much cum fills up your mouth, and some of it dribbles down to your chin. You take your mouth off his cock and he finally looks at you. He brings his thumb down to your chin and picks up his cum, then brings it to your lips. He swipes his thumb on your tongue. His hand then goes under your chin and he turns your head. âYouâre so beautiful.â
You get off the floor and grab his hand. You pull him up from the couch and begin to guide him to your bedroom. Your bedroom is even more disorganized than the living room, but he doesnât notice because all thatâs going through his mind is the fact heâs about to fuck you, and it feels like a dream.Â
Your hands go to your side and you pull down your zipper, beginning to take off your dress. He watches, his eyes lighting up as he sees that youâre only wearing panties. His hand goes to your back and he pulls you closer to him. His lips meet yours for a brief second before his lips go down, from your neck to your breasts. His lips wrap around your nipple and he sucks, while his hand plays with the other.
He detaches his mouth from your nipple and kisses his way to your other nipple before his lips wrap around your other nipple. You softly moan while he does so. When he unlatches, he picks you up and puts you down on the bed. He spreads your legs apart and pushes your panties to the side before he gets on his knees.
His tongue runs through your cunt before it focuses on flicking your clit. You softly moan while his fingers go up to your mouth. He shoves his fingers in your mouth, getting them wet with your saliva before he brings them down and runs them through your folds. He pushes his middle and ring finger inside of you and you loudly moan.
âOh, Toji-â You shut your eyes as he curves his fingers just right. The pad of his fingers brush against your sweet spot repeatedly. His tongue works just right, and you bite down your bottom lip so youâre not so loud. The walls are thin, and the last thing you want is for the neighbors to hear this. âYouâre doing such a good job.â
And his ears are happy with what you say and with the moans that leave your lips. Oh and his tongue is also happy because you taste so fucking good. Heâs definitely happy heâs getting to do this. At this point heâs completely forgotten what he came here to do.Â
âFuckâ Itâs so good!â You arch your back, feeling as your orgasm begins to build up. Your thighs begin to squeeze his head, and your mind begins to get cloudy. You definitely donât regret bringing him over.Â
Tojiâs mouth begins to suck on your clit as your orgasm gets closer and closer. Itâs so fucking good for the both of you. You get louder and louder with every passing second, until your legs spasm, reaching your orgasm. You moan his name really loud, and itâs the sweetest melody that heâs ever come across.
He takes his fingers out and detaches himself from your clit, standing up. He begins to get undressed, taking off his shirt before his pants follow. He makes sure that weapons are hidden by clothes before he completely focuses on you. You truly look like a goddess as you lay down on the bed, and heâs mesmerized. Heâs never seen someone so beautiful before.
âYouâre so beautiful.â He comments stroking his cock before he runs the tip through your folds. His other hand goes to your lower back and he lifts your upper body. His lips meet yours, his tongue going inside your mouth and pressing against yours. He slowly pushes his cock inside of you, and you moan into his mouth.
His cock definitely feels bigger than it looks, and it feels so good. You pull away from the kiss, and he brings his lips together, gathering up saliva before he spits in your mouth. Itâs so fucking nasty but you love it, swallowing it. âOh youâre such a nasty bitch.â
âI am.â You answer. One arm is wrapped around his shoulders, while the other goes down, your hand playing with your clit. âYour dickâs so good.â
âOh? Is it?â He questions. He picks up speed with every thrust, getting lost in your cunt. His lips meet yours again in a sloppy kiss, muffling any sounds from the both of you. This feels so fucking good, by this point heâs forgotten about the ten million yen prize. He doesnât want to leave you after this. âYouâve got such a sweet little pussy.â
Your eyes are rolling to the back of your head as you feel another orgasm approach. He just hits every spot and it makes your body feel so good. Every movement is enough to send you over the edge, and heâs relentless. You pull away from the kiss to moan, âOh fuck! Toji!â
You reach your climax, your pussy feeling incredible around him. So tight and warm. He rapidly keeps thrusting in and out of you, chasing his release. Heâs moaning your name, coming so close to finishing.Â
His thrusts get sloppy until he finally comes to a stop, filling you up with his cum. He shouldnât have done that, but he doesnât care. And neither do you. He pulls out and lays down beside you on the bed. Now would be the perfect time to grab a weapon and do the job.
But he isnât thinking of that. He catches his breath and turns his face to look at you, admiring your beauty, âYouâre so beautiful.â
âThank you.â You answer, smiling at him. Heâs decided that heâll push his plan to tomorrow morning.

The next morning Toji wakes up next to you and his mind is all over the place. He doesnât exactly remember much. Maybe that you had sex a couple more times until you both passed outâ That and that he pushed back his plan of killing you.Â
Heâs been stalling his plan simply because youâve captivated him, and he canât afford that. Not with the amount of money thatâs on the line. You seem to be sleeping peacefully next to him, which would allow him to grab a pillow and just do the job. But he doesnât.Â
He gets off the bed, grabs his clothes and begins to look for the bathroom. Once he finds it, he uses the toilet. Once heâs done he looks over himself in the mirror. When did he become so pathetic for a woman? Last time that happened was too long ago. Itâs just extremely disappointing that he pushed his plans back because he found the woman too beautiful. But for some reason so much weight has been lifted from him.
He notices the mouthwash on the sink and opens the bottle, pouring some on the cap and then bringing it up to his lips. While he rinses, thereâs a knock on the door. âUh⊠Give me a sec!â
But the door opens. His eyebrows furrow and he turns to look at you. Youâre just wearing your panties, your hands behind your back as you sweetly smile, âGood morning, Toji!â
âGood morning.â Heâs rather cold this morning. You take small steps to get closer to him.
âHowâd you sleep?â You question.
âIâm still tired.â He confesses and you chuckle.
âYou wouldnât be so tired if you had drank the wine.â You tell him, and he finds himself confused.
âDoes wine help you sleep or something?â He questions. When youâre close enough, your hands come to the front, but youâre not empty handed. Toji feels the barrel press against his abdomen, and thatâs the weight he felt that had been lifted. He puts his hands up in the air.
âThe great Toji Zenin was after me, I feel honored.â You begin, and Toji is bewildered. âThe sorcerer killer⊠I want to know who hired you, but I also want to keep it a surprise.â
âYou knew?â He asks the obvious, causing you to laugh.
âOf course I knew. I was surprised you didnât do it faster though. But Iâm glad. You were a good fuck.â You tell him, and he slowly blinks. Reality slowly settles. He has a gun pressed against his abdomenâ His gun. Heâll most likely die, but he canât begin to plead for his life because he canât seem to find the will to live. Thereâs no point. Heâs been outsmarted. âIâm glad you didnât drink the wine either.â
âNot only beautiful, but also smart.â Heâs actually blushing, and he canât seem to care enough to try and turn his face to hide it from you.
âAny last words?âÂ
âI think Iâve fallen in love.â

....
You jumped off of the stone wall, attempting to gently land over some of bushes, trying your best to make the shock mostly be absorbed by your healed leg. However, the pouring rain caused the soil beneathe you to turn into wet mud, making you lose your balance and immediately slip upon landing.
"Argh..." You slightly winced, hurt as your whole body fell further into the ground, failing to protect your broken leg from receiving zero pain.
'I deserved that' you thought to yourself. Afterall, there was no one else to blame this accident on other than you.
You, who came here on your own accord, jumping over a wall no one told you to, who else would have been responsible? 'Maybe Toge, if only he had sent just one text message explaining himself', you thought to yourself in your defense, mentally rolling your eyes in frustration. But still, you honestly can't bring yourself to blame him, afterall, you figured he's been going through so much right now.
Fortunately, despite your late arrival in the night, Toge happened to be awake at this hour and had heard the ruckus you were making.
From the window, he saw your failed attempt at a perfect landing, and without a second thought, he quickly stood up and put on his robe, immediately hurrying to tie the knot closed, rushing to get himself covered before coming outside to help you.
Instinctively, he went to reach for both strings of the robe on each side, but it was only when he couldn't feel the soft, towel-like strips of one of fabrics on the left side did a sudden realization hit him:
His arm. He only had one arm now.
It was another instance for him to be reminded that he had lost a part of his body: a horrible mark of the events in Shibuya, a memory of all the lives he wasn't able to save, a reminder of all the friends he had failed to protect....
A sickening darkness grew at the pit of his stomach once more as he recalled all those horrible memories.... it was the same awful feeling he'd been experiencing these past few days while he was all alone, trapped in his room, and never even having a second's worth of peace.
Shaking his head, he pushed away those thoughts for the time being and just let the robe loosly hang over him, his only remaining arm going inside one of the sleeves.
Toge was still not used to how to maneauver his body right now, so much so that he still has to even remind himself from time to time about the new state of his physical appearance.
He hurried out of his room and into the garden, little splashes from the puddles staining his legs on the way. When he reached you, you open your eyes, taking your attention off of the pain you felt in your leg to find Toge hovering over you.
Surprised you were when you first laid eyes on him. He was wearing his robe open to you, allowing it to show all the dark bruises, scars, and thick bandages covering his bare upper torso. It was a painful sight to see, causing you to frown slightly.
Other than the appearance of his physical condition- he looked awful, emotionally. The bags under his eyes becoming evidence for his lack of sleep while his pupils showed a loss of light in them. His expression was exhausted, and his aura was different- not like the usual playful and relaxed Toge you once knew.
Seeing him as he stood in front of you now.... it felt like he was a different person, and you were taken aback for a moment because of it.
"...Mustard leaf?" His voice was dry and his tone was low- more empty of life.... but he still somehow manage to speak with just a bit of genuine concern as his eyebrows expressed slight hints of sadness and worry.
His form slowly crouched down, mildly struggling to bend himself from all the injuries he had on his side. Regardless lf the pain, he did it anyway in order to help you.
Using his only arm and his body as a support for you, he helped you stand up. You were able to feel him struggle slightly, Toge's body slightly more unsteady and frail as the both of you walked- His breath quietly quivering with each step, and he would take a sharp inhale of air every time you leaned just a little too much on him as he helped carry you over to the nearest gazeebo.
You felt bad for making him lift you... for making him become drenched along with you.
Regardless, even if you refused, no way would Toge leave you alone in the rain, all sad and pitiful. And you knew that. Because that's just the kind of person he was.
Despite the fact that he had been ignoring you for days, his actions now had served as a reminder that he did in fact still cared about you, you took note.
Yes, there had been a bit of akward tension with the current situation the both of you were in, but he would never even dare of becoming so uncaring and hurt your feelings to do anything like that
...right?
Toge was trying to carefully set your body down on one of the benches, mildly challenged as he did so while keeping his gaze low.
Perhaps he was embarassed that he's not used to maneuvering around with a missing arm just yet, or he's embarassed at the fact you came all this way and somehow endded up getting hurt just because he never replied to you.
You felt small stinging sensations underneathe your cast as you were as you gently settle on your seat, slighthly gripping your fist to hold back the pain you felt in your right leg.
You spoke up, a bit embarassed "... sorry... for making you come out like this..." A quiet moment passed before he responded by shaking his head gently, lightly waving off his hand as he gestured a polite 'don't mind it'.
It was silent, only the sounds emitting any noise being the rain hitting the soil and the droplets trippling against the roof above you.
"Salmon roe." Softly, he spoke, and you slowly drove your gaze towards him, his eyes looking at you rather seriously. With slow movements, he gently gestured towards the house, then towards the garage, then at you. Your eyes furrow at the action, understanding what he wanted to comunicate despite lacking the use of words.
"...No, I don't want to be taken back to the school after a shower." You said quietly, a slightly stubborn attitude taking over as you look away in disagreement. But this wasn't a good time to argue. He absolutely wasn't in the mood to bicker and wanted to get away from anything and everything stressful adding to his plate.
He gestured again to the house, then at the garage but a bit more sternly, to which you reply a cold hard refusal.
"...No." in an equally stern attitude, you stated, a slight glimpse of sorrow seeping through your voice as you look down "....I'm not going."
Toge showed hints of frustration, his expression a bit more irritated but also trying his best to retain his composure towards you, but his emotions were beginning to get the best of him once more.
It wasn't like Toge at all: Toge who was always so patient and calm... what exactly changed him since Shibuya? One can't help but wonder what were all the things a person had seen to make him act so different.
"Toge. Look at you. You were already gone for DAYS and not talking to ANYBODY" You gestured towards his body then at his face worriedly "You're thinner and lost the hope you had in your eyes... what happened to you..? What did you see...?" You spoke with worry. "it's scary to think what else you're going through while you coop yourself up in that room by yourself...."
He remained quiet, understanding where you're coming from.
It did make him feel a bit bad, suddenly leaving everyone to find out for themselves what was happening to him. But he figured that everyone was probably having their own mental breakdowns during this time as well, so maybe they need some time to process it too-... or that's what he wanted to believe the case to be.
In truth, he just wanted to rot and suffocate in his own suffering alone.
You were his best possible source of comfort, and he never even given himself the choice to be consoled by you. In fact, you were the last person he wanted to be with right now.
He didn't deserve your affectionate gazes, your gentle touches, your soft voice, your reassuring words... he knew you would be the gateway to end his suffering... but that's the thing, he refused this comfort willingly, he doesn't want this depressing feeling to end.
Toge let himself sulk in his own misery, torturing himself. All because he believes he deserves it.
"Toge, I know it's just horrible, everything. It's absolute bullshit.. But I hope staying quiet here for days had given you the time you needed to be by yourself.... staying alone in your room any longer might do more damage to you than you think."
You were right, he thought. But it didn't matter to him.
He wanted to drown in suffering, drown in guilt, hoping one day he may never wake up from it.
But that would mean escaping his own sins- so he always found himself needing to take back what he said mentally, remembering to endure the twisted thoughts seeping into his mind because he doesn't believe he shouldn't take the easy way out.
"Toge... I saw their bodies too... some of them, at least... When they took some of them back to the hospital... Our friends..." your voice spoke weakly, almost as if it was about to break as you lightly tremble.
You weren't there when it happened, and you felt bad about it. The most you could've done was helping in treating the survivors with your amateur use of Reversed Curse Technique while listening to their horrific experiences.
"... I can't unsee it... though... it made me think about you... I can't ever imagine what it must've been like for you in there." With a shakey breath, you whispered, trying to even comprehend the scenes he must've witness or the weight of responsibility Toge must be pinning on himself.
Suddenly, a wave of flashing images enter Toge's mind as if a slideshow started playing. The memories were accompanied by the same sinking and gut wretching feeling he had during that night, the same feeling he thought he was able to surpress well enough these past few days for it to never re-emerge again.
But he was wrong.
You lifted your head towards him, a knowing look and spoke with s worried tone. "Toge... whatever happened to the civilians in Shibuya was not your fault."
Your sudden choice of words had taken him aback.
'You heard what happened?' He first thought to himself, but then an immediate tightness was present in his chest and his breath had suddenly seemed to have gotten caught in his throat.
'That's wrong.'
'It was my fault.'
'I led them there.'
'All the civilian's deaths were because I led them there. All of them.'
He didn't want you to know, he prayed you wouldn't find out.
There was so much shame that he felt whenever he would remember that he was the cause for leading so many people to their deaths.
He felt so much shame that he couldn't even dare face you, which was another reason why he'd been pushing you away for days on end.
"...I can't imagine what you must've felt, but I know it was horrible." You said, speaking with such a pained and concerned voice.
You understood how this might've made Toge feel, and you knew he would be blaming himself for all the unpredictable deaths of those innocent lives that were caught up in Sukuna's attack... which is why you made the effort to be there for him.
"...n..."
His voice hitched quietly, his mind whispering for you to stop. His breathing got heavier as if the air suddenly thickened; His jaw lightly trembling as he remembered.
Everything else around him becoming mere background noise to him, his awareness to his surrounding fading. He couldn't think straight.
You noticed his sudden shift in behavior, his previous stoic and serious demeanor disappearing. His body was tensed and his expression afraid, terrified even.
"....s...to..."
It was barely audible, and all you could hear was a low and shakey grunt.
"What...?" Was all you could reply, unable to hear his quiet whispers.
"....n...o."
Once more, he silently whispered.
Concerned, you slowly began reaching for him, ever so gently touching his arm with the tips of your fingers to ease him, to ease his nerves, however, it only did quite the opposite.
At the moment, he only felt your touch, every other one of his senses drowning into nothigness. The moment your hand lightly glazed the skin of his arm, the memories suddenly flooded his mind. The deaths of civillians, his murdered allies, the transfigurations, the sorcerers getting killed... It was all too much for him. Too much.
Overwhelmed, he did the unthinkable. Suddenly...
"G..."
He spoke.
"..GET AWAY FROM ME" Toge yelled, quickly retracting his arm away from you by instinct.
With that being said, the curse fulfilled the command.
The next thing you knew, you felt yourself harshly sent flying from one end to the other, across the entire backyard of the clan's abode.
It didn't feel like it was just a gust of wind like you had imagined, no. It felt like suddenly being struck by a train at high speed or hitting the concrete after falling from a building the second the curse was activated.
Toge's eyes widened and immediately snapped towards your direction when he heard the sound of your voice screaming as you were thrown.
It didn't help that your instincts came at the worst possible time. In a pitiful attempt to lessen the impact of the fall, you allowed your body to make use of its training, instinctively posing the way you were always taught to land in while sparring with Maki and the others.
Though this time, you forgot to take into consideration the handicap you had at the moment, and unfortunately for you, your feet would need to be the first to hit the ground with the stance you thought could protect your body best.
It was a big mistake- The fall absorbed all the shock which injected itself onto your already broken leg.
You released a scream, but you still couldn't stop the landing just yet. As the force of the throw continued to push you forward, you end up rolling for a few more meters before abruptly hitting the stone wall on the other side of the yard. Your senses numbed for a moment and your vision blurred; Your mind was disoriented, but your heart was crushed.
It was fucked, your leg, that's what you were sure of. Not even your level of healing could save this one, bitterly you thought as you tried your best to use your reverse cursed technique to at least lessen the pain.
Shock overwhelmed Toge- it would've had him frozen in place but his insticts made him disregard all his negative thoughts and sprint towards you faster than he had the time to even register what had just happened.
Once he reached you, he quickly crouched down, not caring about the pain he felt as he did so, observing your current state, his mind clouded with shame.
He hated himself. Every fiber of his being hated himself for hurting you. He felt disgusted over his cursed speech for ever doing this to someone as kind, understanding, and loving as you.
Everything Toge had ever feared to do... ever since he was young....
He let this happen again... to someone he loved.
For a moment, Toge was a bit relieved to see you still able to move... but the overpowering amount of guilt still filled him to the core.
He wanted to call out your name, but stopped himself for a second as he took the time to think if it was a 'safe word' to say that wouldn't activate his curse again. Afterall, he's already done so much damage of using it just once on you.
"Y-.... y/...n...." anxiously and hoarsly he spoke, his voice low, unsure on how to approach the situation.
With his hand reaching out to you, hesitantly he spoke again "...y/n."
Very slightly, your body gently back away from his reach, a sign he immediately took to back away from you: You didn't want him to get near you. Were you scared of him? Did you hate him? Had he broken your trust?
As your mind began to defog, you sat up slowly, bit by bit regaining more of your vision again. The pain was slowly seeping in more to your broken leg as you gripped the upper part of your cast, grinding your teeth, and silently trembling. Toge could only watch in horror as he takes a few seconds to reflect on his own actions.
You were quiet. Extremely quiet. He hated it. Why aren't you yelling at him? Cursing at him? What were you thinking? How hurt are you...? The only sound being the drops of rain that were hitting the ground as you looked down with a look of disappointment visible in your expression, slowly regaining your composure.
With a heavy sigh to calm your uneven breath, you spoke "... I know you're hurting... I am too... but the last person I thought that could ever hurt me.... was you." You spoke quietly and slowly, your head low and your voice dejected, still gripping on your leg as your breath further turned uneven.
"y/n.... I..." He immediately paused again, stopping himself from even risking the accidental use of his speech again. He hurriedly tried to take his phone, rummaging through his pants as his hand trembled, but before he could even begin typing what he wanted to say to you, you weakly raised your hand, stopping him.
"I shouldn't have pushed you." You looked at him as your eyes had small pools of droplets resting at the lids of your eyes- droplets he knew were not because of the rain. Your caring, gentle, and soft gaze beginning to fade, just like how he felt your trust in him starting to disipitate
You made a few attempts to stand up slowly, failing miserably each time as Toge had his hand hover over you, wanting to assist you but respecting the boundaries you had just put up.
It still hurt though, pretty bad. But honestly what hurt most was not the fact you were thrown across an entire backyard, but because Toge had used his curse on you.
Falling onto the ground again after another failed attempt at standing up, he reached for you, but pulled back the last second- afraid to hurt or even scare you.
A second of panic passed before he gestured towards the house and signals you to wait.
He hurriedly ran inside to call someone else to assist you. It took only less than a minute for him to find someone before he hurriedly ran back into the garden, and once outside, he immediately looked over to where he last left you- only to find no one.
You were gone.
Confused and panicked, he immediately began searching the area, calling your name while his body was numbing the pain he was having from all the movements he was making right now.
"y/n..." He called out to you, his tone sounding slightly beggining to sound desperate "y/n...!" With a little more volume, Toge yelled.
He wanted to talk to you, help you, at least aid you and get you dressed before having car send you home if you didn't want to see him right now.
In the streets, he looked left and right for any clues that you might've left as he was mentally cursing himself for letting you leave the place in such a state.
He curses himself under his breath. Oh how he wished that he could have been actually affected by it, for he deserved it.
Immediately, he brought out his phone, opened your contact, and quickly stared tapping on the keyboard.
