The lights of the Ferris Wheel made such pretty colours/patterns in the ripples of the water. - October, 2023

Combination of digital painting + my old overpaint colours photography edit style and using AI to generate textures. Actually been done for months now but I'm so iffy posting anything that incorporates it because people are so polarized but ultimately I still put a lot of effort into creating it. I've managed to create some super cool, completely unique things but my anxious self-conscious self has been gatekeeping me from posting any.

Released my first song on Spotify alongside the artwork I made for it. https://open.spotify.com/track/1G1lhf2zGBSr6EPjEur2Zc?si=60e6ecc767884cff
It's definitely not perfect but I wanted to get it out before the year finished and I was running out of time and I just hit a dysmorphic point where I kept changing bits back and fourth. But ayo song ;-;

Hey! I really like how you shoot your photos, but what kind of device do you use for your photography? Iām trying to pursue photography myself but I donāt know what gear to start with :-)
I started out with a Canon 600D which I borrowed from school, I later bought a Nikon D7200 which is what a lot of my photos on here are. I now own an A7III which I've primarily just used for professional work and haven't posted much with it due to losing motivation with social media. Honestly these days phones are good enough that you're likely getting a far better deal buying a high end phone than an expensive camera because they are seriously expensive. Plus on top you actually get a phone alongside other features. Personally anything midrange camera wise these days is a waste of money when phones are as good as they are. (sorry I took so long to answer this btw)
I figured it might be interesting to start showing the original versions of some of my pictures? This is one of the earliest taken at Den of Nargun, Australia - 2015. At the time I didn't own a camera and had to borrow an old Canon 600D from school. One of the primary reasons I decided to edit/paint over it was I couldn't compete with others who had big expensive fancy cameras and I was playing Terraria at the time so I liked the idea of transforming reality to adhere to ideals of escapism.

If this was Terraria, it would appear that the Hallow is spreading.Ā

Some duckies swimming in a blissful abyss of a lake

Icky sticky ;-;
Okay I made a weird electronic song.

One of the many things I've been learning over the past couple of years, this one drove me crazy in particular because I had so many lanes of automation and these plugins are dreadfully buggy I wasted a couple of weeks trying to fix things which was a massive waste of time. I made the artwork to go alongside this but I also do plan to make a video for it. I have a vague storyline planned out in my head so it would be cool to eventually turn that idea into something. But yee made a weird song, idefk what genre you'd call it but it's something.
Some rocks in Tasmania I photographed in 2016. I always liked how the swirls of the wave foam had such a consistent and coherent pattern.

I'm not confident on the lifespan of cockatoos but just a reminder that this cockatoo is probably still out there bming photographs all around.

Couple of years ago I photographed this cockatoo and it literally defecated and flew away. I still canāt get over the utter spite in his face as he unleashes the ultimate fuck you.
Ā āYou want a photograph? Photograph this!ā

Sunrises make for some cool dramatic lighting, Iād be more inclined to shoot at this time if I actually had my license though till then I can lazily walk 5 mins distance of my house hoping to get something interesting.Ā

Cradle Mountain - Tasmania, Australia.Ā

Always loved all the different subtle colours rocks bring out in post.Ā
