The most exciting pictures I have right now are literally just a MacDonald’s drive-thru.

So a few months back I was supposed to ask my uncle about having some cameras he had, but conveniently before I even had the chance to ask his house burnt down. More interestingly one of the few things that did make it out was this picture of a crying boy, surprisingly in near perfect condition. He had received it a number of years back from an Auntie who also had a house fire with this painting being one of the only things remaining. I suppose my family is a bit superstitious but they believed the painting was cursed, he was actually taking the painting to be disposed and I said I’d have it since I actually like the painting but my Mum didn't want it anywhere near our house. Upon looking into it further online it seemed to actually be fairly widely accepted with the notion of the painting being cursed. Apparently the boy within the painting was an orphan who died in a car crash shortly after the completion and mass production of them trapping his soul inside it. A more logical explanation is that the the varnish used on the paintings were fire repellent making it more immune to flames than most objects, although that doesn’t entirely explain why all other paintings burnt as I can’t imagine what’s between them is that greatly different. If you’re interested into looking into this more there is a few articles on it, I’ll link the wiki but it’s a bit empty comparatively to other sites. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crying_Boy I think what’s more disturbing is the fact of how the fire actually started, my cousins kids (who are also my cousins but for clarity’s sake) are about 5 years of age with about 1 year difference between them. Well the younger one was actually jealous of all his brother’s Birthday presents so he actually found a lighter and set them on fire and locked the door of the room where my Auntie and Uncle slept. She and the older brother actually had to be dragged out due to the smoke fumes knocking them out completely. To be honest though these two kids do a lot of crazy messed up shit at times, I sort of wonder how they’ll be when their older. Probably even more disturbing still is their Dad’s story but I probably shouldn’t go too much into people’s personal lives. Anyways thought this was a little bit interesting and a different sort of post for once. :)

So for my class I had to come up with a company and a product to make, I decided to just go with a shortened version of my URL name as I believe it fits well in that purpose. For my product I went with T-Shirts, due to limitations of the school I couldn’t make any full body designs but I settled with a drawing of a face I did. Everything had to be self-made, including the dimensions of the box, the pattern and the logo. All things created were done on paper and then photographed or scanned and refined in Photoshop, then hand-made. I did a multitude of designs, which I may upload in the future although the Vael Head was the only one I physically created. Typically the shirt is supposed to be white on black, but I only have 2 like that and they’re at school since I’m not supposed to take them home yet, which is why I have the white one. 

Originally I was going to make some for any body that wanted them, as I already had quite a few people saying they’d like to buy one. Although the screen printing at school is very time consuming and requires two people and has a large margin for error, easily wrecking shirts if not careful. Despite this I still may make a few for anyone who really wants one, though there may not be many.
