My current running theory that I'm certain will be debunked next episode based on the final scene of this one:

The one-sided relationship Sazz wanted to get away from according to that chiropractor is one she had with Bev Melon, who perhaps was her past boss and was just as pushy and disrespectful towards her as she is with the gang right now about the OMITB movie. I can't think of any other reason Bev Melon would know of Sazz's trampoline park if they didn't have some sort of history together.

wrong theory time:

okay this episode jen says the rumor is that agatha traded nicholas for the darkhold. obviously there is more to this story than meets the eye, especially since in the trailer when teen asks why agatha lets them believe those things about her agatha says "the truth is too awful"

i would like to propose the idea agatha did not trade nicholas for the darkhold. rather, rio, if the rumors about her being agatha's lover/wife are true (which lets be real here, that tension couldn't be anything but), took nicholas away to protect him from all the dark magic and corruption of the darkhold that was happening.

this would go well with why agatha hates rio ("do you remember why you hate me?") and the fact that rio and agatha haven't seen each other since she acquired the darkhold which was confirmed during their confrontation in episode 1

it also fits with the symbolization of the darkhold in the cradle because in some ways, agatha really did trade nicholas for dark magic.
