something that breaks my heart about crimson rivers is how much james and regulus struggled to understand their feelings, to know what was real and what wasn’t.

they loved each other but had to learn how to do it in front of an audience. i think that messed up with their heads so much, which is why it took them so long to really be together (and all the trauma lmao) ☹️☹️☹️
