Idk who needs to hear this but a fanfic doesn't "fail" if it gets less than X hits/comments/kudos/whatever. No one is grading you. There isn't a trophy for winning. You don't get eliminated and sent home. There isn't an annual review where some boss tells you whether you met expectations.

If you wrote and posted a fic, you succeeded in writing and posting a fic. Of course it is normal to want readers and feedback, but there is no pass/fail and just because a fic hasn't "done numbers" doesn't mean you have failed, and if you can free yourself from that mindset you will genuinely be happier as a fic writer, I promise.
