Were you actually in my room? likely not, Taka would have clawed you, but then, I suppose she's not always home. My room is my scantum, stay out of it.

*Simon turns to go, calling Taka to light on his shoulder, muttering under his breath.*

(It would seem Simon can not see past the fourth wall. He does not seem to notice, however, the envelope slipped under the door.)

*Simon shifts, looking away*

"he's.... fine. Loud. Self-aggrandizing. Smells like ashes. Could probably bench the weight of his firetruck, which I'm certain drew Fool-Bright to him to begin with. Rover loves him, or so I'm told.

What does it matter? Fool-Bright is head over heels it would seem. He's been spending all his time with the man, I'm sure they'll be very happy.

Time: 3:28, friday night

*the phone rings, Simon stirs from his slumber on a pull out bed, rubbing sleep from his eyes. recognizing the number, he flips the phone open, bringing it to his face. nearby, Athena shifts in her sleeping bag, but does not wake.*

"Fulbright?"

the voice on the other end is fuzzy, panicked, and not Fulbright's.

"He's freaking out I don't know what to do-"

Simon sits bolt upright, his heart in his chest.

"You're his roommate, right? is this normal?? what do I do???"

Simon wakes Athena, and grabs his boots.

"We have to go"
