i’ve been wondering about something.... i don’t know if it’s just me but i’ve heard some takes from the fandom that jouno was manipulative towards tachihara? i haven’t reviewed their interactions so i’m curious on what they could be referring to

"omg we might get to see stormbringer animated for season 4" no. stormbringer NEEDS a movie, not 3-4 episodes in the beginning of a season. that thing is barely comprehensible as a book, much less as separate episodes. dead apple is confusing asf as it is, as a movie, imagine if they tried to fit that into a season? same thing with stormbringer

is it EVER explained how the guild stole a Whole Building that one time or are we just supposed to accept that they did that. what happened. is it in anne’s room somehow? did poe draw it into a book? did fitzgerald spend a couple of mil to get strong enough to Pick It Up And Walk Away? did lovecraft fucking eat it???? did it ever get put Back???? what happened . this haunts me

i never understood how artists had neat and pretty sketchbooks, like do you just not?? draw the same character over and over in trying to stylize them in a way you like??

like!! other than some takes calling jouno manipulative towards tachihara, jouno was also?? criticized for this somewhat?? like what you said, he didn’t intervene even when he knew something was up between the commander and tachihara, which could’ve been bad and dangerous on tachihara’s end (and did end up really bad), some takes talking about how he didn’t intervene because he wants a “gotcha moment” in betraying fukuchi (if memory serves me right)

but also like, jouno couldn’t have known much just by tachihara making a trivial lie to fukuchi’s face considering this

and the fact that jouno was originally willing to become a decay until he remembered that one old lady who thanked him, which cancels out jouno feigning alliance to have a “gotcha moment” on fukuchi
