I’ve finally finished Slow Horses season 4 and wow I think that’s my favourite season (I say that about every season).
I loved every second of it but the highlight for me has to be sassy River I mean that man, the childline line- gagged
Yet another season of the slow horses eating everyone else up…

Stroud is a genius!
Does anyone else feel like they have been tricked into liking a character?
Take Holly Munro, we all hated her in the 3rd book, and by its end we loved her. But she and Lucy still bickered silently in the 4th book.
Holly spending an hour to make Lockwood look ugly and then spending 5 mins on Lucy
Lucy informing holly that she considered strangling her?!?!!?
Take Quill Kipps, how the fuck did we go from "Quill Walking Appendix" to "My son!<3!!"
Manipulating the reader's view of the character and such beautiful and unexpected character arcs!
STROUD IS A GENIUS!
Reblog the writers’ fortune cookie for luck!

I really do appreciate every single angel who read the Lockwood and Co. books before the show dropped and refrained from telling us about THIS dialogue that didn't make it in. If I had seen this in the days following my first watch, this passage would have made me clench with such force I would have shattered my entire spinal column.

A true artist, truly irreplaceable. Rest in peace (or give 'em hell, whatever makes you happy), Maggie. Thank you for sharing your light with us for so many years.
