Yoongi sighed as he jumped out of the dumpster, there was no food for him there either, yoongi hadn't had a proper meal in days which made his situation even worse. He shivered as a gust of wind blew by him. His ears flat against his head as he walks threw the ally ways. He quickly dashed across the street making sure not to be seen by any humans

He continued walking and walking still without any food in his stomach. He had given up for tonight with a sigh as he needed to now find shelter. He walked passed another dumpster when he suddenly halted, he smelled fresh food, he looked into the open dumpster only to see it completely empty, confused he took a look behind seeing another cat hybrid munching on some chicken. The small cat quickly turned her head locking eyes with his, "sorry" he muttered. The last thing he needed was a catfight over food "are you hungry?" He turned back around and nodded.

"You can have the rest," you said holding the container out to him, he hesitated before taking the food and sat down next to you as he silently ate. "What's your name?" You asked "yoongi," he said mouth stuffed with food, "I'm y/n, you look cold" you turned to your small bag pulling out a blanket not new of course but still a blanket and wrapping it around him before doing the same with yours. "Thank you," he said finishing the chicken.

This felt awkward, yoongi is rarely social, and when he is its normally not good, and on top of that he hasn't seen a stray cat hybrid like himself in a while not one as caring that is. He silently stood up ready starting to leave when your voice called him "you can stay if you want, its gonna get really cold" he thought for a second before turning around "you want me to stay with you?" He asked "I mean if you want to, and I guess it would be nice to have a companion" you smiled. Yoongi was surprised to say, his heart skipped a beat, something he's never felt before.

"Alright" he silently took his spot next to you once again before feeling you wrap the same blanket around him "good night," you said Laying on the ground with a blanket for yourself. Yoongi laid against the wall and closed his eyes while tightly holding onto his blanket.

When he opened his eyes again it was day, he looked to his side seeing the spot empty, he frowned. Did he frown? Was he sad that you were gone? He had never had someone to miss before, his own feelings we're confusing. He had only known survival so any other emotion was confusing, he shook it off as he got up and started walking down the abandoned street to find food.

"Disgusting bitch!" Someone shrieked before a loud bang was heard followed by a pained whimper. Yoongi peeped around the corner, you were being beaten by a human as you whimpered in pain. "Get off of her!" He yelled, running at the man. pouncing and tackling him to the ground baring his teeth with a hiss. The man screamed pushing yoongi off of him before sprinting away.

Yoongi paused for a minute, never had he done something like that before In a range of emotions. Anger and a strange feeling of protecting something, why?

"Yoongi?"

His head snapped in your direction, "are you ok?" He nodded standing up and walking over to you. "I found food," you said holding up a big bag of chips "did you steal that?" He asked. You nodded "don't do that, it's too dangerous" you walked back to your spot behind the dumpster and started eating. "Y/n, do you know what love feels like?" He asked with doe eyes "my mother used to say that when we found our mate it would feel like an instant connection" you stated, "do you think we're mates?" He asked not breaking eye contact "maybe" you whispered " how do we make sure," he asked. You brought you hands to cup his face bringing it closer to yours until your lips connected, his eyes we wide at first but soon fell closed as he deepens the kiss. After a couple of minutes, you both pulled away catching your breath. He smiled gently cursing your cheek

You had adopted taehyung only yesterday, he looked so scared and afraid in the corner of the shelter.

he hasn't really warmed up to you yet but you thought it is best to take him shopping for new clothes since he only had one outfit.

" do you wanna stop and get a treat?" You asked holding multiple bags filled with new clothes and shoes. He nodded his head and began to walk to the sweet shop "excuse me, miss!" You stopped turning around seeing a middle-aged man. "Is this your wolf? I'll give you 10 thousand for him" he said pulling out his wallet "no, sorry he's not for sale, he's mine" the man looked back up at you like a crazy man. "Come on taehyung, let's go-" you were cut off as the man yanked you back by the arm. "I'll give you 20-" the man was shoved off of you as a low growl left taehyung's throat "don't touch my mate you bastard!" He yelled

this was the first time you've seen taehyung angry and kind of scary. The man quickly got off the ground and ran away, "y/n are you ok?" He asked in a softer voice "oh, yes taehyung I'm fine now, let's go get that treat" he nodded happily taking your hand into his with a smile.

It had only been a week since you had arrived at the shelter and became taehyung's new roommate. You were a little timid and shy but you had warmed up to his playful behavior.

You two were playing on his bed with pillows and just play fighting, giggling and all. He happily pushed you back against the bed hovering over you and biting into your shoulder as a playful gesture but you quickly pushed him away, shuffling to the corner of the bed.

He sat back up a little confused and looked backs at you seeing your bottom lip quivering and ears flopped down against your head, "w-why did you bite me?" You cried out. Tae quickly jumped into action, he grabbed your arms making you flinch at first "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bite into you that hard I didn't know it would hurt that bad, it was meant to be playful" he apologized pulling you closer and began to lick the wound.

Tae sometimes forgot that you were a pray and not a predator hybrid like him so he had to be more careful with you. "Do you forgive me?" You nodded giving him a hug "ill always forgive you, you're my best friend"
