I once met a voracious strumpet 

Who'd shtupped pies, eclairs and a crumpet.

Hell, she'd even go

For some old pastry dough;

She'd surely find some way to hump it.

Fun fact: I love words and word games of all sorts, from Whole and Beheaded to the NYTimes crossword, but I can't spell worth a damn. It makes for some colorful scrabble games.

I definitely would have cuddled with this at night with the rest of my stuffed animals.

Elegy to a few lost lines

My computer broke at work last week And ne'er before was poet rent: Despairing such prodigious loss Of verse that spanned a continent... ...or more. So many pages passed, So many trisyllabic turns of verse Were any even built to last? That I'll never know is worse...

Slow and steady wins the race

I once met a real speedy kid.

- Excelled at whatever he did,

Except when it came

To pleasing a dame;

He'd finish not three minutes in.
